I stopped in with my sisters a bit ago. Cool place! Alec S was our waiter and he was excellent! He made note of our special dietary requests made recommendations and our order came out perfectly! He even anticipated on asking if we would like refills, etc. Deciding was hard, there so many awesome selections and surprised to see some rarities, too! We ordered Sweet Dreams, Roni with extra pepperoni and Goodfella pizzas. We were all pleased with our orders and I had enough Leftovers for 2 more meals. This restaurant was in walking distance to the hotel we stayed in. We were trying to find somewhere where they had football games showing! We went in and sat at the bar, since they only had TV's there! The bartender was awesome! We ordered wings and a small pizza! Both was very good! Only a handful of folks, ordered Goodfellow pizza could not taste any sausage very very skimpy, think the provolone was forgotten, crust was doughy under cooked- asked if it could be put back in oven was done but not cooked anymore- Pixar had no flavor. burrata salad - burrata was good but very very thin slices f pear with seed pods still intact had to be cut around. Where to go for dinner on our last night in Rehoboth Beach? That was our Friday night dilemma. We answered the question with a very satisfactory meal at Crust and Craft - think pizza crust and craft beers. We skipped the beers because we had an early ferry to catch, but we had an excellent dinner by splitting a Local Salad ($10) and a Queen Pizza ($16). The salad was plenty big enough to split and gave us two big portions of red leaf lettuce, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, shaved onions with a white balsamic vinaigrette. The Queen Pizza is a basic pie with crushed tomato sauce, basil and mozzarella. We added on meatballs to bring the total up to $16. The crust was a teense thicker than a thin crust, but much less than the thick chewy abominations you get once in a while. Now sometimes thin crusts are very brittle (like a graham cracker) but this one threaded the old needle as it was thinnish but very soft. The sauce was terrific, the meatball slices were terrific, and our friendly server was terrific. No Tax Delaware brought the total to just $26. They had a quite a few craft beers on the menu, and we really liked the chill vibe at Crust and Craft. If we lived down here, we'd be regular customers. read more

Awesome little find on a rainy day in Rehoboth beach on the way to the movie theater. We started with the tempura honey cauliflower and mozzarella sticks as appetizers. The cauliflower was too sweet , the flavor should have been a bit more balanced. The mozzarella sticks were delicious. Right amount of crunch to cheesy goodness. I also tried the Ace pineapple hard cider . Really good if you are not in the mood for a beer. We ordered 3 pizzas. All 3 were awesome. Sorry my party dived into the pizza before I could take pics. The sweet dream is a delicious garlicky pizza and was the prettiest pizza I've ever seen with dollops of ricotta cheese. Fungi is for the mushroom lovers and the goodfella is your classic tomato sauce mozzarella pizza with spicy sausage, we added pepperoni to it, coz my kids are pepperoni lovers . This is a nice little spot a couple of miles away from the beach, with nice interior decor and good service. Our server was young Isaac who was very attentive. We made our way to Crust and Craft recently and treated ourselves to some quality pie. As they are a part of the SoDel Concepts group, we were excited to give them a try. Featured here: Grandma Pie The South Philly The Goodfella The Sweet Dreams All of these were really good. They were cooked perfectly, had good crisp and all of the toppings worked well together. The best one out of all of these was The Grandma. I'd say it was probably closer to a Sicilian than a grandma, but nonetheless, it was delicious. The crust was the perfect density, and four slices were more than enough to fill you up. The pecorino and basil on this one made it taste very fresh, and I was shocked with how good it was. They also have a lot of beers and drinks to choose from, as well as other entrees if you aren't feeling pizza when you visit. Basically, "Disappointment on a plate". It's supposed to focus on "Crust" and "Craft" - basically - pizza and craft beer. They get the beer right - plenty of good options on tap, but that's about all they get right, and the complete lack of atmosphere doesn't add any value to the already poor offering - it's cold and uninviting inside. Giving me a cloth napkin doesn't make up for all the other shortcomings. Pizza was VERY disappointing. Crust was more like a lavash or heavy nan, than it was pizza crust. It was actually difficult to chew, and seemed undercooked. Ice cold inch-wide dollops of ricotta from a piping bag on top individual slices was disturbingly unpleasant. Special "clam pizza" tasted more of bacon than clam, and I had to go looking to find the actual "clams". Everything else was bland. Service was attentive and friendly, but did some things that were rather lame.. such as bringing our check before we were done because "the shift was changing". We had ordered items that happened to be "on special", and our server circled the "original price". The check also had a "price before discount" marked as a "hint" to tip on the bigger amount. Sorry - that's not how it works. I'll tip on the full amount of the bill, and I'll tip on items that were comped, but I'm not going to tip on the full price of automatically discounted items. I've never seen this done ANYWHERE before, and it's very bad form. Can't for the life of me understand the high ratings. If you really want pizza, honestly, Hungry Howies or Pizza Hut is actually BETTER. Won't be going back. read more

Bottom Line: Pizza, pasta, craft beer, cocktails and friendly service in a cool atmosphere. My husband and I tried Crust & Craft based on Yelp reviews and really enjoyed it. We were warmly greeted and shown to a cozy booth socially distant from other diners. The beer menu looked great and was nicely organized but we decided to skip the craft and go right for crust. We shared a decadent meal of homemade mozzarella cheese sticks and the South Philly Pizza. Both were excellent. The pizza tasted very rich probably due to the Bechamel cheese but was irresistibly yummy. We liked the wood-fired thin crispy crust and the uniqueness of shaved eye round steak on a pizza. Usually enjoy our pizza here. Server was slow, and forgetful. The night was busy for a weeknight but there were over 5 servers on. The sauce was too sweet but the char was real good. We sat back by the bathrooms. I understand they have to go in the back through to get supplies but seeing a box of frozen meatballs was not on my list to see/ notice from a SoDel restaurant. I'll be a little more picky as to what I'm going to order if it just comes out of a case. Or even at all. Thriving on fresh this and that but hey what can we all expect. Could be short staffing, or that they prefer consistency, I just rather would have authentic and scratch made so shame on me too for assuming. read more

We visited the restaurant because we had heard rave reviews from another couple, so we decided to try it out on Saturday, Dec. 30th. We were promptly seated, which was nice. My better half had the Philly Cheesesteak and one of the local beers, while I had the Craft Burger and one of the non-alcoholic beers. We decided against pizza, as we had it the night before. Let's start this review by saying I would have given a solid 4 stars. The food was delicious and service was speedy and friendly. Skip down to the third paragraph to hear why I'm docking the two stars. We ordered the meatball apps which we felt the sauce lacked spice and seasoning but the toasted buttered bread that went along with it had a nice crunch. We also had the porcini mushroom pasta which was very tasty and highly recommended. The sauce to pasta ratio was perfect. My hungry little guy felt the portion size was a bit small but again the quality was great. Moving onto the salad bowls where two of us ordered as entrees: this is the part where we got utterly disappointed. We had an order of the Greek salad with a side of chicken and an order of the forbidden black rice bowl. We were shocked to find our receipt for the Greek salad to come out to $24. We asked our waiter to confirm if that was correct since the Greek salad was listed at $12. They confirmed the extra $12 was for the three strips of chicken. While the chicken was moist and tender it was absolutely not worth the same price as the salad itself. The photo may be deceiving but it may have been the size of one chicken breast. If I had know I would have preferred to have gotten another order of the meatballs or another appetizer. How can CHICKEN be the same price as a salad?! Again totally understand cost increases to pricing especially with inflation but what really upset my group was the fact that this price was not listed anywhere on the menu nor brought up as we ordered. The menu for ordering pizza shows that chicken can be added for an extra $3 or $4 which is totally reasonable. This was so disappointing. read more

Here's the scene. It's Friday evening Labor day weekend in Rehoboth Beach. Without saying anything a foodies biggest fear is a long wait and sub par customer service with a price tag that makes you think you and your party might be washing dishes. Here's the reality, we got right in, the place was clean, the customer service was great, and the price tag was far from hateful. Rob, our server, was a solid guy. Obviously we clicked, being that we lived in the same part of New Jersey for quite a number of years, and I picked his accent out right away. He made great beer suggestions and was great with the kids. Now the food: I'll admit that the brussel sprouts probably could have been cooked a bit better. Dinner did not disappoint however. My kids loved their food (pizza and spaghetti). It's an Italian restaurant, yeah I'm the guy that ordered the Chicken pot pie bowl. That was the best decision ever...it's soooo good. I ALSO ordered The Grandma Pie which was very tasty as well. It was a great time and a great experience and sure beat the heck out of eating chain restaurant food. So I will say that everyone was incredibly nice here.. but that definitely didn't make up for the subpar food and INSANE prices. Monday is half priced drafts and we paid $14 for 2 pints of Big Oyster Atlantico draft beers. This is a very basic 4.4% beer and there is NO WAY this draft beer should cost $14 per pint of beer on a normal occasion... They also took a really long time to get to the table. They weren't slammed or anything; but again, not sure what was going on. The Brussels Sprouts were very undercooked. The flavor was good but would have been way better had they of been cooked longer. I have been to several SoDel restaurants and their Brussels have had the same crunch.. I loved the apple too, it really gave it the zing.. but again, being that undercooked was a huge let down. The Sweet Dreams pizza just didn't have enough sustenance. The huge scoop of Ricotta over powered the whole pizza and then I removed it, everything in the crust came off. The crust was super thin and and again, just didn't have anything to it. It was a huge let down. The mozzarella sticks weren't very cheesy as one would assume one to be. It seemed like it may have been frozen and just not a good brand. Not sure exactly what was going on there. We ordered dessert to go and it was missing half of the ingredients as well. The ambiance was casual, music was eclectic and the place itself seems cool. Small, but cute. Again, our server was a great guy. However, the fact that our meal was $76 BEFORE tip was absolutely outrageous and we will NEVER be back again unfortunately. read more

Wifey and I arrived 20 minutes before HH ended. We were able to get food & beers before 6 p.m. Victory Prima Pils was among the draft "HH specials", the other two beers were not to my taste but 3 local craft beers for $5 is a pretty good deal, something for almost everyone. Ordered the meatball HH special, 2 for $10, they were tasty with an adequate amount of dipping marinara and baguette slices lightly toasted. Big meatballs. Tasty. Wifey ordered the Goodfella (not a HH special pie $16 for 12 inches, yikes), no cheese, sadly lactose intolerant. I ordered the "HH special" pizza which was the Marguertia, for $10. Mine was woefully undercooked. No color on the bottom at all. My wife's was a little bit more done but not much. We were in a rush to get home so having them redo the pizzas was not gonna work nor was complaining to the manager. We wanted to eat & get back on the road. The crust of these pizzas is not made out of what you would consider typical yeast dough, with seemingly no rolling or stretching. They appear to be more of a white premade soft crackers that is then crisped in the 1000-degree oven. Almost Naan-like. With the entire staff busy watching the 4 p.m. game I'm guessing that the priority wasn't paying as close attention to the quality of the product that was being produced as should have been taken. 6 staff discussing their fantasy picks and all looking at the TV at once, which was not a good look, almost took a picture. We have been eyeballing that place on the way home for some time knowing it was a SODEL property and we are generally very pleased with SODEL but this was a missed opportunity to obtain a steady customer. We had great service. I loved the atmosphere of the Restaraunt. The meatballs were really good! I loved the bread it came with to dip in the sauce. We got one of their pizzas and it was just ok. Maybe the menu mentioned it but we weren't expecting the ricotta on the pizza to be cold and it threw it off for us. The pizza was also really lacking in salt/flavor. We even added "spicy" sausage to it and it didn't help. I'm not knocking it for that and we would go again. My main complaint would be the $15 small margarita.
