Went in the offseason with a party of 7. The waiter was polite and knowledgable. Place is very clean and very spacious. Food was delicious. Started off with a Cheese Board & Garlic bread that we all shared. I had the Braised Chianti Short Ribs. I subbed out the rissotto with mashed potatoes. They were so creamy and the ribs so tender. Amazing! I went solo and sat at the bar. This place even in winter sounds like you need a reservation so be aware. Staff were great and I could not believe how fast the food came out! Incredible! Everything is and tastes homemade. Pasta a little Aldente just how I like it. Chicken was crust and juicy while mozzarella was fresh. I have been to the Market and wanted to try the restaurant so we went. here to celebrate a birthday on a Saturday night in November. We made a reservation and our table was ready when we arrived. The restaurant is on the smaller size and the tables are close and when it is busy it is pretty loud so hard to carry on a conversation but it is a lovely setting. First off I will say our service was excellent. Attentive and very friendly and she had lots of great recommendations. We had the cheesy garlic bread as an appetizer and it was excellent. We had four different dishes, the spaghetti was good, shrimp and pasta was excellent, the eggplant parm was excellent and we had another pasta dish that was very good. For dessert we had the chocolate cake and tiramisu. The chocolate cake was excellent, the tiramisu was good. Overall it was a good experience, not an inexpensive meal for sure but I would say it is worth a try and see what you think. read more

This was by far the most expensive meal we had while visiting this area. They are also a bit snooty in their treatment if you don't have a reservation - so I recommend making one. Because we didn't have one, we had to wait about 45 minutes to be seated - which was fine. We had nothing else to do with our evening. Once seated, the service was good. And there was some good selections for us to pick from. I'm trying to get away from salads all the time and eat more protein. So I could have done salad - but I went with the rainbow trout. Hubby was feeling hungry I guess as he ordered an appetizer - garlic bread. I think they may have brought complimentary bread out eventually as they did for the table next to us - but we went big. And the garlic loaf was BIG. There was plenty to take home and have for another meal. It had sundried tomatoes on it and roasted garlic - which I ate since hubby didn't appreciate those. I also had a small piece and it was delicious. For the entree, hubby got chicken parm and also 2 meatballs. As I said, I got the rainbow trout which came with the cooked greens and grains - neither of which had much flavor. But the rainbow trout was nicely cooked. I got the WHOLE fish as my photo shows which made the dish more interesting. I'm fine lopping off the head so I just removed it, set it aside, and ate the entire fish. Hubby did a good job of eating the chicken and one meatball - but left the spaghetti. Needless to say, he did not get an ice cream cone after this meal. The service was good but as I said it was the most expensive meal we ate all week. And not just because of the added meatballs and appetizer. However, as most restaurants, we saw the menu posted before eating here so we knew what we were getting into Was it worth it - no. We paid for the concept, packaging and location. But we're on vacation so we were fine living high on the hog. Would we eat here again - no. There were other restaurants we would and in fact did repeat rather than this one. read more

Our server, Sean H., inquired about food allergies, and upon learning I was allergic to eggs, immediately managed our order and communication with the kitchen at each course. After having an AMAZING dinner here last year, we looked forward to returning. This experience was about 3.5 stars. Made a reservation in advance so we wouldn't have a long wait. That was great! For some reason our reservation got cancelled- but we called to check on it and the hostess added us back on the reservation list no problem. Yay!!! diFebos!!! But the dishes were just, okay. Not great. I mean what do you say when they keep checking in on you and the food just isn't to your liking, I'm not enjoying this? This dish is lacking flavor ? We started with the garlic bread. Which is not as much garlic bread as cheesy bread with tomato sauce on the side. Presentation wise- it looked beautiful. Taste wise, I'd recommend using the roasted garlic atop and making a butter to actually spread between slices. Would not order again. They offer you bread complimentary and you're better off imagining you got the garlic bread vs paying for it. We both ordered the lobster bisque. It was lacking flavor and depth. My partner wondered if they didn't use a seafood stock? It needed something. Maybe sherry. We added salt. This helped a little. He got the short ribs on risotto and thought they were good! The sauce was not too heavy, well flavored, a good consistency. The risotto it was atop was also good. The couple next to us got the chicken picatta and the gentleman eating it said multiple times that it was absolutely delicious. So there are great things in the menu!! I got the cavatappi bolognese. This was suggested in the menu. The cavatappi was okay. Maybe a little over cooked? I dunno. The texture of the pasta was not for me. A tad gummy. The sauce was okay but not great. Sorta thin? I had hoped to dip the garlic bread into the meat sauce. But that wasn't an option. Would not order again. *shakes fist at sky for not getting the scallop's* It took a while for the busser to come collect our soup bowls. So when the pasta dishes came out it was an awkward shuffle to give her a plate, take a plate from her, make space, get a new plate, give her the other plate. They did offer us fresh pepper for the soup. No parm to be shredded for the pasta ? This was def offered last year. If you go, make a reservation in advance, avoid the 'garlic bread' and hopefully you make a better main dish choice than i did. read more

Overall, our experience was good. We had made reservations for 5 and were seated right when the doors opened. Our table for five was in the corner and near the kitchen but it wasn't too bad. Our server was great - very attentive. We started with drinks (I had Blood Orange Lemonade that was delicious and M had a New Fashion that she really enjoyed). The bread was super fresh and came with a cheesy powdery mix that you mix with olive oil to dip it in. We ordered three appetizers to share - Fried Roman Artichokes, a large Caesar salad, and Roasted Pear Agrodoce with Truffle Burrata. The Burrata was fantastic - the pears complimented the cheese perfectly. Unfortunately, the menu listed a butternut squash pasta that D and I ordered and he came back after putting the order in to tell us they didn't have it. I replaced it with chicken piccata and wasn't thrilled with it. However, everyone else liked their meals (chicken parm, eggplant parm, roasted pork special, and Baked Truffle Gnocci). We shared a GIANT piece of chocolate cake for dessert and M & T had Boston creme pie martinis that they said were great. Starting when we walked in the door, they had our party of 6 slotted for an outdoor table, but one of our ladies is 8-months pregnant and it was HOT outside, so they very easily swapped us to an inside table...even though they were packed! We were seated in a back corner table near the kitchen, which brought back memories of dining in Little Italy. The service was wonderful and kind. A couple of our dishes needed to be tweaked a little and they were more than gracious about accommodating! First up, we ordered the Roman artichoke (crispy fried) appetizer - I highly recommend and this is a great shareable. The gnocchi was "heaven" according to my husband I snuck a bite on the sly and fully concur. Little bites of pillowy air, you could easily put away a couple pounds of these! I had the bolognese with an added meatball and WOWZA...is my momma in the kitchen?!?! Those meatballs must have ricotta in them because each bite floated in to my mouth! The pasta with Vodka sauce (not on the menu) looked like perfection And next time, I am definitely going for those short ribs... my only regret is not leaving enough room for dessert!! This past weekend made an early reservation. I ordered the ribeye steak special medium, and my partner ordered pan seared trout. The food came really quick to the table. The steak was pan seared only one side. so it was really med rare And chewy . The side dishes and entrees were so salty your mouth puckered. The trout was decent. I mentioned it to the wait staff and they told the chef. Are half the dish, my partner finished the fish and let the sides on the plate. Service was goid. read more

Extremely rude host staff & manager on duty. We waited to be sat 30 minutes after our reservation time. I understand it is the summer so it is peak season, but do not overcommit your restaurant that has 0 waiting space aside from outside in 100 degree weather. Snarky under the breath comments were made about the people waiting for their reservation in the small walk in area. Customer service = 0. Make it make sense that they have a rule that in order to be seated for your reservation your entire party needs to be there BUT when your entire party is there they will not seat you until 30 minutes after your reservation. The menu clearly states FRESH HOMEMADE PASTA. Come to find out ONLY the lasagna - out of all the pasta options - is actually made in house. Rude staff & deceptive advertising for mediocre food. There are dozens over better restaurants in Rehoboth that have great food and kind staff. read more

We told the server when we were seated. The hostess made an issue of this which was not necessary. We had a really lovely New Year's Eve meal here! We started off with the fried artichokes, which were excellent, and the prosciutto bruschetta- this was a bit different from what we expected (the bread was soft and it came as two large pieces of bruschetta), but it was absolutely delicious. There was a bit of sweetness (maybe from the mascarpone fig spread?) that we weren't expecting but enjoyed. We also ordered a cheese board that was a NYE special and excellent- usually with cheese boards, there are one or two items that aren't a hit, but we ate every single thing on this one! We also enjoyed the complimentary bread, which came out fresh and warm with excellent olive oil and a small contained of Parmesan/seasonings that you could add yourself to the olive oil. As entrees, we got the Abruzzo sweet ravioli and the short ribs. We really enjoyed both. The ravioli was so unique- I've never had sweet ravioli before, but somehow it worked perfectly with the red sauce. I ordered it with the meatball, which came in the middle of five or six ravioli. The short ribs were tender and paired well with the risotto. The only thing we didn't love was the drink menu- we weren't huge fans of the cocktails we tried (the limoncello martini and their take on a Sazerac). Unfortunately, we didn't have room for dessert but were impressed with the selection- there were 9 or 10 different options that all sounded delicious.
