You can really tell the kitchen takes pride in the quality of the ingredients and preparation. Huge kudos to Chef Frankie for delivering such a phenomenal meal. Everything from the steak to the sides was well executed and beautifully presented. Our server, Aubrey, was fantastic and truly elevated the experience. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu without ever making us feel rushed. Her service made the evening feel relaxed and enjoyable. We also have to mention the banana fosters cheesecake for dessert--it was absolutely amazing and the perfect way to end the meal. Rich, flavorful, and something we would come back for on its own. Great atmosphere, excellent food, and standout service. Between Chef Frankie's incredible cooking and Aubrey's attentive service, this steakhouse is definitely a place we will return to and highly recommend

I was craving a good steak and came across this casual, laid back steakhouse. After reading several…read morereviews praising their beer cheese and pretzels, I knew I had to find out for myself. I made a reservation, but when I arrived, only a few people were sitting at the bar, so I practically had the entire dining room to myself. Phyre is located on a quiet street just steps away from St. Cloud City Hall. The décor features black velvet booths, black chairs, and marble tables. It isn't fancy, but it has a cool, modern vibe. They even had a huge Christmas tree still on display, decorated in preparation for the Fourth of July, which definitely caught my attention. Allie was my host and server, and she was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout my visit. Every restaurant needs a Allie. She was amazing! If Phyre management reads this, she needs a raise. I mean absolutely wonderful service! I started with what they call the "Our Fashion" cocktail and their famous pretzels served with beer cheese . The cocktail was enjoyable, and I can see why the pretzels get so much attention. They were soft, warm, and fresh. I would have preferred a little less salt, but then again, it wouldn't really be a pretzel. The cheese sauce could have been hotter, but it was flavorful and paired well with the pretzels. For my entrée, I ordered the surf and turf featuring filet medallions, three crab-stuffed shrimp, and a side of garlic mashed potatoes. The food arrived surprisingly quickly, which I appreciated. The filet medallions were cooked to a perfect medium and had a nice slight crisp on the outside, although they weren't quite as hot as I would have liked. It was served towith a delicious wine sauce that really elevated the dish. The crab stuffed shrimp were flavorful, and the garlic mashed potatoes were a great complement to the meal. Overall, I enjoyed my Sunday dinner at Phyre. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the food delivered a satisfying steakhouse experience. I'd definitely return to try more of the menu.

I visited the Old Fashion Cigar shop Saturday 28-February-2026…read more This was my first time to this cigar shop. Visiting the area for two weeks. Google Cigar stores near me and this was the first on the list. I give it a 2 because of the billing experience. I would recommend people to visit. But pay attention to the billing process. The lack of a humidor = 1. The attentiveness to the customer = 5. Bathroom was clean and taken care of = 5. Seating was adequate = 3. It is a small cigar shop by footprint the main area has the cigars along the wall. A bathroom and a number of comfortable seating options. If one chooses there are tables outside to use. There is a bar area in a second room. It has bar stools for sitting. I was there mid afternoon not crowded. The owner Mr. G told me there is music in evening come the weekend. I would imagine this could become a tight place to be in. There is no humidor room for cigars. I shown a humidifier up in the ceiling area. But yet the door was open. Due to room size it would not be possible to setup a humidor room. That would give pause on how well cigars can hold up. I smoked two and one of them the wrapper started to show signs of coming apart. But was able to finish it. The team is very friendly. I was greeted when I came in. Was shown the cigar selections. Mr G the owner spent time chatting with me. Waitresses were attentive. I had a couple of Dark IPAs on tap. Good Pricing was to be expected ranging from $10 to $20. The downside to the experience was when I checked out 18% tip was added to the bill ($15.00) Yet on the bottom it has suggested tip from 18%, 20, 25%. So one is tipping on the beverages and beer. The tax is about 10.5%. In all my cigar shop visits I have never paid a tip on cigars. The beers were $5.95 each. I know that someone took time to show me the selection but others shop do as well. If i do visit again I would pay for the cigars upon purchase. Let the bar bill be a seperate charge. At this point when I tip I do it in cash and keep it to 10% to 15% and if exceptional 20%. The beers were expensive based on the tip. I am sure there is rationale to the why but this one took away from the whole experience. I supposed I could have push back but just let it be as a learning experience. The last point is when I went to sign off it was suggested by the staff and machine I could add an additional tip amount. I declined.

I chose a heavy one with coffee notes and my husband got the jalapeño wrapper. He let me try a puff and immediately I was jealous and wanted to trade. The outside has several tables, there were nice looking leather chairs inside and a bar to belly up to. Everything was very clean and the owner even stopped by and chatted with us a bit. We will be back for another date night to try the food.

But if you stop there, you're missing out. Step inside and everything changes. The ambiance is elegant, the staff is warm and welcoming, and the place has a great energy. It was completely full when we arrived--which is always a good sign, even for a smaller space. We were seated quickly, and our hostess immediately took great care of us. She walked us through the menu and highlighted the specials, which made ordering easy. The food came out fast, and everything--from the presentation to the aroma to the taste--was excellent. No weak points. What really stood out was the atmosphere. It felt like one big family gathering. Even though everyone was a stranger, the vibe made it feel like we were all part of the same table. Safe to say, we've found our new weekend spot when we don't feel like cooking. We'll definitely be back.

We walked inside and it has a Vintage look, basic booths and tables and dim lighting. We weren't sure they were open because the outside lights were off so we walked in and saw people here and they just forgot to turn the lights on. They were open. We sat anywhere we chose so we chose a booth. Then a young man came and provided us menus and helped navigate us through the menu. My husband ordered the short ribs with mango juice. I ordered the Millanaise steak with eggs on top and we also ordered empanadas I ordered a chicken and my husband ordered beef. It came with a side of chimichurri sauce. It took a while for everything to come, but the Millanaise steak was presented very well. It was good, I wanted to try an Argentinian staple meal and so I did. My husband enjoyed his meal. He finished the whole thing. My steak was clearly too large for my belly. I will be taking leftovers home.

OK. This review is strictly for the food since I got it for takeout and I had delivered here, so…read morethis is only for the food. I can't give any scores on the ambience or the service, so OK. All right. So here goes. I'll give this place a solid three, maybe a 3 1/2. Here's the problem. Well let me let me give the positives first. The conch fritters were outstanding. A lot of conch meat and not a lot of filler. 5 out 5 . The mozzarella wedges not bad. Pretty much standard. That marinara sauce was from a can just admit it. It was lousy and then the fish and chips with the Mahi. The fish was outstanding. Well done. The batter was not soggy. It stayed crest for the most part of fish was good. Listen for that much money. I want more french fries in there. You literally gave me 10 french fries. In the end of the thing that's not excusable with the price of things where they are be a little more giving on the french fries. The remoulade Tartar sauce was was way too salty use. You can't use that much old base seasoning but overall the fish was good now here's my problem. And this is pretty much why I'm giving you three stars instead of giving you four or five. I lived. I worked and I cooked in Charleston South Carolina. I know how to make shrimp and grits. I know how to make it low country style like it's as it comes from what you served me. I appreciate your creativity but you don't put fried grit cakes and shrimp on a skewer. Let me call you and that is not shrimp and grits. Honestly, that's a mark of a lazy chef. If you can't make cheese grits and you don't know how to make cheese grits for shrimp and grits. I was a chef and I still am. I'll come over there. I'll teach you how to make a low country shrimp and grits. OK and it'll sell way better than that stuff. A fried GRITCAKE no . NOW the shrimp was cooked. Well it was nicely season. Good job on the shrimp. But like if you want me to come over there I'll show you how to cook it. You get you get $20 $25 for a bowl of that stuff. Instead of making that stuff. You can make cheese grits in a matter of minutes. OK all you need us some Bell peppers some good pepper, Jack cheese and come do it. I'll do it for free. Other than that. It was decent. Just let me help you. I don't mind coming over there and showing you how to do it. If you don't know how to do it. I really don't. But please don't do that. Again. If you, I know you're trying to be creative but that that's that's not. If you can't ruin a classic dish like that. I'm sorry. I don't mean to sound nasty and rude. But that's a lazy chef frying a great cake and putting it on skewer. No thanks. I'd love to come back maybe try something else but I certainly wouldn't be getting that again until you make some changes on that. But overall not a bad experience food wise. I can't. I'll have to come in and give you the rest.
