    Lemonade (the best I've had)

The lemonade is absolutely delicious! I ordered a quesadilla with shrimp, cheese, cilantro and onion with the consume (pretty much the birriadilla but with shrimp) and my total was $15! I will definitely be back. Great accommodations!

Molcajete Queens - this has everything in it - fish, shrimp, veggies, chicken, pork, beef, cactus is on the side

Queens was very good. Loved everything from the start. Inside was nice and clean. Servers were friendly and food was great. Came here while waiting for the Kissimmee Christmas Light Parade. We ordered the Molcajete which is a skull shaped cast iron with all the fixins - veggies, shrimp, fish, chorizo, chicken, beef, and pork. This was a better price than us getting individual fajitas and it also came with beans, rice, & tortillas. It was very tasty. We washed it down with two agua frescas - horchata and pineapple and it was so fresh. Loved our food and drinks here, & the whole experience was unexpectedly excellent. We weren't versed with this area, & we were only on foot so nice that we had this very good Mexican restaurant in walking distance of our location.

This little spot in Kissimmee was such a nice find. It feels so cozy and authentic and conveniently located by the lakefront park. The menu is affordable and had a range of the classics as well as a huge drink menu. Started off with complimentary chips and salsa and to drink got the horchata and it came in a huuuge cup, which was worth it and could probably be shared. I also tried the esquites (good portion), one chicken and one beef street style taco, and the birria tacos. The staff was really sweet, but the service could have been a little bit faster. Overall, a good experience there though.

This place is legit, and it never disappoints! The service is great, the restaurant is conveniently located in Downtown Kissimmee, and the food is always delicious. I especially love their tacos and their horchata, which never misses!

    Taco special with carnitas

Stopped here for lunch today while I was in the area. Located in quaint downtown Kissimmee area. No real parking lot, but plenty of street parking nearby. Adorable interior! Modern, clean and festive! A beautiful bar area at front of restaurant. A smaller restaurant but lots of seating. I noticed they also have a seating area outside. The service? Great! Our server was very attentive. Now, to the food! We both ordered the 3 taco lunch special with carnitas as our protein. Served with refried beans, yellow Mexican rice and a side of two salsas with some pickled onions to top. The carnitas/pork was juicy, tender and delicious! The veggies and tortillas? Very fresh! One test for me when dining Mexican? The refried beans! Theirs did not disappoint! I could have strictly had just a bowl of those beans and left happy! Lots of options on their menu. Our lunch entrees we around 11 dollars a piece, but plenty of food! Great portions and complimentary chips and salsa. If ever in the area again? I will definitely stop here! I'd love to sample more on their menu! Try this place! Highly recommend!!!

Food was fantastic. Fresh warm Chips and salads to start. Add some melted queso sauce. Had the burrito monad which had excellent flavor and the birria tacos that was melty cheesy goodness. Portion sizes are huge and feasibly priced. Small but festive Mexican decor and atmosphere. The service was excellent and the waiter was pleasant and attentive. Great spot to come grab some lunch.

Shrimp Quesadilla de Camarón / Shrimp Quesadilla

Never disappointed! The food is great here. Always so fresh and delicious! We got the shrimp quesadilla, chicken fajitas and carne asada chimichanga. Love coming here!

If you have an appetite and enjoy fresh Mexican food, come here. Staff were friendly and portions were huge. I really liked their freshly made guys and and home made tortilla chips. A great addition to the historic district's dining options.

    Waitress with the birthday girl.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our mother's birthday. Gisela, our waitress, was incredibly kind and attentive -- she truly made our visit memorable. The food was excellent, and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

I'm super picky about having my wings cooked enough and these were nice and smoky. Like twice baked, not fried? I had the filet and he had the sirloin. Both had a lot of flavor and were cooked just right. The Broadway strip in Historic Kissimmee has gone downhill since we were there last, but 1881 was definitely a delicious bright spot.

Drinks were very slow. Food was very slow. All but one food item was cold. All steaks overcooked. Not even close. Salmon overcooked. Not even close No chimichurri for steak. No gravy for chicken and gravy. No green beans. No vegetables. We didn't know any of that ahead of time. When our food arrived, the sauces and sides didn't come out with the food. When they went back to get them, they had no sauces and no vegetables/green beans. The chicken and gravy Father's Day special had no gravy, the steak chimichurri had no chimichurri. No warning from the kitchen and waitress was sent out to tell us. Solution to all of it was to give us a $3 discount on the individual items, the steak and the chicken and gravy. It's hard to explain how exceptionally slow, cold and overcooked the food was. Seemed like one server, one manager and one cook at the restaurant. Wouldn't have written the review if they were even somewhat understanding of how bad things were. The $3 off was incredibly token especially for Father's Day meal where we spent upwards of $500. Just didn't want anyone else having the experience we did.

The restaurant itself is cute and well-decorated, and it wasn't busy when we visited (Thursday around 6:30PM). Our server was friendly and attentive, and when we asked where the chef was from, she said Peru--which we later found out wasn't true (an important detail you'll soon see why). Food & Experience We ordered a variety of dishes to try: What we loved: * Sushi Acevichado - Great flavor and well-prepared. * Torta de Chocolate & Mousse de Maracuyá - Both desserts were delicious. What disappointed us: * Sopa de Pollo - The soup was loaded with potatoes, which wasn't an issue, but when we asked if it could be split into two bowls, the server said no. Instead, she offered to bring an extra bowl for us to do it ourselves, which felt like an odd policy. * Lomo Saltado - The charcoal flavor was so overpowering that it wasn't enjoyable, and the fries didn't taste homemade. * Aeropuerto - Not to my liking at all. The chicken was overcooked, and the chaufa's flavor was off, likely due to a different soy sauce (siyau) being used. * Trio (Fried Calamari, Chaufa de Pollo, Ceviche de Pescado) - The fried calamari arrived cold and gooey, the chaufa had the same flavor issue as the Aeropuerto, and the ceviche was just okay. When the chef came to our table, we asked what part of Peru he was from--and that's when we found out he wasn't actually Peruvian. This might explain why some of the traditional Peruvian flavors were missing or off. Would we come back? Probably not. There are so many better Peruvian restaurants we've tried. If we're in the area, we might consider giving it another shot with different dishes, but we wouldn't go out of our way to visit again. (Nice atmosphere, good desserts, but underwhelming Peruvian flavors.)

Looking at the menu I was bit surprised they did not have more signature drinks on the menu, mainly mojitos, but then realized this is a Latin speakeasy, with music playing to match.
