When painted, they stood out like a sore thumb, completely ruining the aesthetic of the fence. We called the owner out to replace the boards. He said the fence served its purpose. We said you would never put this fence on your website as proof of your work. If this was in the front of the house, it would be horrible to look at. It would never be acceptable at a million dollar home. The boards should have been examined before installing, discarding the undesirable pieces as there was plenty of lumber and it arrived before the project began. The owner never fixed the fence after many conversations. We are disappointed with the look and the customer service. This was poor quality control by the owner and the crew that we are now stuck with. I would not recommend this company.

They claim they didn't my request either, but rather than getting nasty, they said it must have gotten lost in the system somewhere. I ended up selecting a Duralum cover that his company also offers, and I'm glad I did. It's just the look I was going for. I was also impressed with Adam's business model, which is built on quality and efficiency at a very reasonable price without cutting corners or sacrificing customer service. Now for the best part: A guy named Brody, his lead installer. In addition to being a super nice guy, his work is meticulous. The back of my home isn't linear, so there are bump-outs and protrusions, making the installation more difficult and time consuming. This wasn't the slightest challenge for Brody and his team. The finished product is snuggled tightly against my stucco and professionally sealed on the roof to prevent any water dripping through when it rains. I watched him work, measuring and cutting the aluminum to match my home so the fit and finish is far greater than I imagined. As you can tell from the photos, I still have work to do (concrete coating, fence repairs, etc.) to match the beauty of my new cover.

Over the years, I've had other handymen pass on the project. I had a handyman who was able to fill the rotted areas with wood filler, sand it, and restain it. I've even had a gate company tell me that they could not save the gate; it would need to be completely replaced. Bill was able to cut out the rotted pieces of wood, replace them, and restain the whole gate (he also repainted the decorative hardware on the door as well). Moreover, he discussed the project with a buddy of his and they determined that the gate was sitting over a muddy part of landscaping which is probably what facilitated the deterioration of the wood. We found some leftover pavers in our storage shed and Bill extended the pavers so the gate would sit over pavers instead of mud. Before he embarked on the wood gate repair, Bill also installed a valance/shade over a window. He made the necessary calculations to ensure that the valance/shade would be centered on the wall and window. He also made sure that the valence was leveled. Bill is honest, meticulous and detail-oriented. If you want someone to treat your project and your home, like it's his own, I would give Bill a call.

He explained how each clump of blades is an individual plant, taking tens of thousands of plants to make up my yard. We even discussed where Bermuda grass was slowly taking over in one area of the yard. Because of his knowledge and how he explained things, I decided to give him a chance to do what he suggested. Power seed and fertilize, followed by a fertilization and soil treatment one month later. For the price, I thought if it worked, it was a good value, and if it didn't, I would find someone to aerate in the fall. I can not be happier. The Bermuda grass area has shrunk over ninety percent in three months. The lawn is thicker than I ever had it in the past, and I will admit greener than I would get, and I took pride in how green my grass stayed. The long stretch is what I call the dog run. My eighty-pound German Shepherd and I run up and back along this stretch of grass during two daily play sessions (morning and afternoon). The other photo is a patch of grass with minimal traffic unless we have a party with kids. Ginger is trained not to tinkle on any of the grass;) I say in closing, in a light-spirited manner, give Thomas a call because the grass is greener, thicker, and healthier on my side of the fence neighbor:).

Noe Pablo was the most thorough in messaging through the Yelp app, so my husband and I chose him. I had 2 medium-sized fruit trees I needed to transfer from my parent's home in Southeast San Diego to mine in North County. I took pictures and he gave us a very reasonable price. We also decided to also add another service to take out our palm tree. There were a couple of mishaps such as: The day he was scheduled to take out the palm tree, he was a no-show and my husband had to call him an hour after he was supposed to arrive. Then, the day after that incident, was the fruit tree transfer. He and his team forgot to bring their dolly. Thank goodness my Dad had one so they borrowed it, but now we have the burden in taking it back. Despite these mishaps, Noe was very knowledgeable and professional in his mannerisms. The day of the fruit tree transfer, he and his team arrived in a timely manner, was efficient and did a great job overall. We were very pleased and will definitely use him again if we have another project.

The project included demolition and re-pouring of one patio, resurfacing the second patio with new materials and adjusting the grading for better drainage, adding two pergolas, tree removal, reinforcing a retaining wall, turf replacement, new drainage and sprinklers, fencing, an air-conditioning surround, new stairs, and more. Daniel was extremely communicative and a pleasure to work with. We've done many construction projects--both indoor and outdoor--over the years, and Daniel ranks among the very best. His quality of work is excellent, and he was always responsive and professional. He also went out of his way to keep costs down whenever possible and always answered our calls. I made a change by adding another 300 square ft of pavers right when the project started. But Daniel stayed right on schedule. Very pleased how it all turned out.
