    Sonny's Discount Appliance & T V Sales - Knee indentation, top buckled

I have had these guys out to house for repairs and they just want to sell you new appliances. Just drive into town and get real service. These guys sold these high end appliances new but won't repair them.

I had to replace my washing machine and I did shop around and Sonny's was the best price. They came out delivered the washer and I thought everything was OK. I signed off on the washer only! I went to the washing this morning, October 2 to find that my dryer had a major indentation on the top left and the top of the dryer was buckled and severely dented. I gave the installer a three step stepladder because he could not reach the hoses. However, that did not work so he put his knee on the top of my dryer! I did not see the damage till this morning because I had to have outpatient surgery shortly after they left and never gave it a second thought. He is denying that he did it and I'm pretty sure the outcome is not gonna be in my favor! Customer service is nonexistent! Buyer Beware. Price is not everything and if I had to choose, I would've gone with better customer service! I should say some customer service would've been better than no customer service! Sales people talk over you and are exceptionally rude! Katherine being on the top of the list for rudeness!

I could tell it was broken somehow because it sounded like several bowling balls rolling around on the drain and spin cycle. It was horribly loud. I found Matt's Appliance in my neighborhood FB as a great recommendation and I definitely agree. I called them and let them know what was going on. They let me know that Matt would call me back and since I'd given the make and model he would see if self diagnosing on the phone was possible. This is something I was uneasy with, but I went through with it. Turns out it was the suspension rods which hold the washer tub. He helped us obtain the part numbers and gave us a price, but said we could shop elsewhere to compare prices, and watch you tube to install it and sent us an example of it. If we we couldnt do it, he would provide us he would install it with along an installation fee to do it. We were so happy we could do it ourselves based on his guidance. Our out of pocket was simply the parts which I ordered through Sears Parts Direct Online. Installation for the back suspension rods were a bit tricky, but we did it and my washer is back to working just fine.

Our Capital Range is back at 100% now that MATT'S has made the repair. We will definitely use Matt's when the need arises again! The price was fair and not a "gouge" as a bonus.

Technically this business is CLOSED. The owner of it (Randy's son) has a new appliance repair…read morecompany: Jon's Appliance Repair. (After researching him online and after speaking w/ other customers, it would appear he hasn't bothered to lawfully change the name of the company.) My mother paid $285 for a new ice maker that wasn't needed; seven days later Jon was notified that the new one was shooting water onto the floor just as the previous one did. He came out and was clueless as to what was causing the problem. He said he'd go home to research the 2015 refrigerator model & get back with her. He didn't call to reschedule. Over months, there were back and forth calls. (In the meantime, a reputable local plumber that Jon knows personally witnessed the water poring onto the floor when he was fixing the kitchen faucet.) Bottom line, Jon sold my mother an ice maker she never needed; something else was the cause of the water works. And Jon (who works only till 5 pm Monday thru Friday) said he had to personally witness the ice maker issue. Yet my mother doesn't get home until 4:30 -4:45 daily (& the ice maker malfunctions only every few hours.) So Mom was supposed to take time off from work to sit w/ this man in her house for hours as they waited for the ice maker to malfunction? Utterly ridiculous. Jon made no effort to make alternative arrangements or refund the cost of the new, unnecessary ice maker. He cheated my mother. She's left with an expensive stainless steel refrigerator that she can't use for ice OR water. The only half hearted excuse Jon ever offered was, "I'm going through a divorce." NOT the customer's problem and no excuse for poor service-- a refund is necessary. Now onto Google reviews and the Better Business Bureau! Perhaps a report to the state of the unofficial business name change is necessary.
