brought in a car for full wash, wax and basic interior detail / cleaning bc it was being sold. what was immediately refreshing - and reassuring tbh - was the check in dude (john... tho he said that's not really his name haha) said when i told him the car was being sold was VERY forthright on what it would benefit from, but did NOT try to upsell me on anything. the car was in decent shape, but would benefit from that 'new car feel' so he suggested a somewhat basic $125 package for a basic, smaller sedan. i liked that he didn't try to upsell me on an extravagant $300+ clean or something. and all the prices are printed out, on a card. so you can choose which package you want and it's all clear and forthright. there was no confusing runaround. they did a fantastic job on the car, made it look as clean and appealing as pre-owned -- and 7-year old -- car can be. they spot cleaned some areas on seats that i asked if they could pay some attention to - and they did. and all the interior surfaces were cleaned really. really. well. the carpets and the hatchback trunk area were also as spotless and really looked shampooed. (idk if it was but it was clean so whatever they did worked.) i know in the l.a. air, it is only a matter of days before everything will be needing a wipe down again. but the car buyer and seller (who i was helping) thought the car looks fantastic, and it certainly helped the sale go through without a hitch. whole process took at 2.5 hours. i was the first person there on a monday morning. prob takes longer if they are busy - and i go to the ralphs in this mall and usually see, that they are busy. i've never had a car detailed or even semi-detailed, but i thought they did a fantastic friendly job here. and certainly helped the car sale go through. if i needed a thorough super clean / basic detailing job, i would definitely come back. read more

I took my car here after not having washed it for quite a while, and I had quite a dog hair problem on the interior. The person checking me in said for the amount of work my car needed (especially for the dog hair) he would have to charge me $185 - It seemed a bit much to me but in the end I accepted , because I needed the service. The car was returned to me about four hours later. The interior look great, all things considered. There's pet hair leftovers but it was expected, given the initial amount. However, they did not do a thorough job on the exterior. For what I paid I was expecting it to be spotless: not the case. There's water stains on all windows and parts of the doors. Doesn't look great. Also - washing and vacuuming the seats , they messed something up because my car has been reporting an airbag problem ever since I got it back from them. I spoke to the person there and they said it might go away when it dries, probably the water hit some sensor ... Ugh. For now, still there. I'll check for some loose cables under the seat if it doesn't and hopefully I can solve it. All in all, service could have been way better for the price and the whole 4 hour wait ordeal. Maybe it'll go better if you have a cleaner car already than I had when I brought it in. read more

My one concern had to do with the mask wearing. Even though the employees weren't always gathered together, many were cleaning the vehicles without masks on. Having lost family and friends to COVID, I take social distancing and mask wearing really seriously. I appreciate that my attendant was courteous enough to check me in and out with a surgical mask on, but I just hope none of the employees get sick in the future, or even that clients get sick. To keep safe, I kept my doors open for a few minutes after picking up my car, to ventilate the cabin. I came here because of all the great reviews. It was indeed a bit hard to find, it's in the underground parking structure of Ralph's. Just enter the structure, turn left, then right and you will see it. It's nice that you can go up and shop for groceries, have a smoothie, or a coffee while you wait. It's been over 40 minutes since I got here and they haven't even touched my car yet. It's still parked where I parked it when I arrived so yes, I am a bit frustrated and will take off a star for slow service. The cheapest wash is $15 here which is a deal considering the fact that it's 100% hand wash!! I am hoping they do a decent job so I can come back here since it is convenient. Just don't come here when you're in a rush because it's very very slow. They have a waiting area with plastic chairs which is nice. I will update my review once my car is washed. Not sure which wash the cars in front of me are getting but it looks like the guys here do a thorough job and the cars and nice and clean. *CASH ONLY!!!* So make sure you are prepared, there's a chase bank upstairs if you need an ATM machine. ----------------------------- 1.5 hours later, my car is finally done. It took about 35 minutes to wash my car. Not perfect, but for $15, I'm satisfied. This carwash/detailer is located in the lower back level of the Ralph's parking lot. I've taken 2 of our cars here recently. One was a simple $25 carwash (in which they did a good job), and the other was a $100 clay refinish to get hard water surface stains out (which they did an excellent job). Long story short, our parking garage had a pipe leaking onto our car that caused hard water stains that wouldn't come out easily. We asked Albert (?) about pricing and showed him the stains. He said it would cost $50 each side, but that this would include a carwash. If they weren't able to get the stains out there would be no charge. I usually go here and purchase the "regular wash $30" and they do a good job. Everything that the "regular wash" description said, they accomplished. However today I did the #6 mini detail. Which is supposed to include floor mats shampoo and trunk vacuum. I don't even think the trunk was even opened because before I dropped it off, I cleaned out my trunk because I was hoping to get a vacuum and sure enough, it looked untouched. Floor mats were vacuumed but not shampoo'd. I didn't care much about the floor mats. I mainly wanted the trunk to be vacuumed. Go here for a regular wash but don't do any detailing. I spent $110($90 for mini detail and the rest for tip) ONLY to find out that they didn't do some of the services as advertised. read more

A little hard to find but just go down to the under ground parking structure, take a left, then right and all the way back. Took about an hour and I was super pleased. An absolute hidden gem in Los Feliz. Located in a bustling shopping center, Crystal has been my car wash spot for 5 years and they've always impressed. Although prices have almost doubled in that time, I still say it's a great value for $30. It's a hand wash and these guys really go to town on both exterior AND interior. My car is squeaky clean each time and the employees are a great bunch of guys too! Always friendly and do great work. I always keep my car clean from the inside but after a trip to Santa Barbara my car had lots of dust and maybe some bugs that landed on my front bumper lol. Since I came on a Wednesday it was empty. You have to go down to the Ralph's plaza to the underground parking lot and go to the left corner.
