Fly and shine service is where it's at. I had been wanting to get my car detailed, but I could not be away from my vehicle because of the nature of my sales job. If a customer calls, I need to have access to a car. I was able to drop off my car when my family went on a midwinter break and returned five days later to a spotless vehicle and no parking fees. People may argue that while you're paying parking fees in the cost of detailing your vehicle, but I was gonna pay to get my car detailed anyway so actually, it's saving me money. I scheduled a full exterior detail after having an issue with white overspray on a black car. They told me it shouldn't be an issue and they'd also fix my wax job after the clay bar. The car definitely came back looking sharp and my wax job was fixed. The overspray is still in spots but it is better than when it went in the shop. I have had my car cleaned with Crystal clean auto detailing now three times and I have been very satisfied each time. The car feels brand new Inside and out. I live on a dirt road and they were able to remove all the dirt/dust that gets in the small crevices of the car that my car wash is unable to remove. They have removed salt stuck on the carpet with ease. I have three children and the backseat of my Honda pilot is always full of crumbs and they cleaned every last bit of evidence of any children in that vehicle. I bought a used SUV, and it was not terribly clean. I had originally planned to detail it myself, but thought this would be a good opportunity to hire a professional. I wanted it as clean as possible. I so badly wanted hiring Crystal Clean to be an awesome experience. It simply wasn't. First, their customer service reps are very nice, polite, and willing to resolve problems. I really do like them. That being said, the customer service rep should not have to bat cleanup for a pathetic attempt at detailing a car. Cleaning cars is their ONLY business, and there is NO excuse for returning a car to a customer without having done what you were hired to do. I hired Crystal Clean for an interior detail. First visit, the SUV was returned with - filthy carpets - filthy seat belts - stains in the headliner - cargo area that had no obvious efforts for removing soil/stains * Keep in mind, these are all items that are specifically called out in their interior detail package.* Second visit, the SUV was returned with - clean carpets - clean seat belts - no stains in the headliner - acceptable effort at cleaning the cargo area - liquid damage to the console clock. Literally somehow got cleaning solvent inside the clock - having been hit in their parking lot by an employee Third time's a charm, right? - They took my SUV to the dealer to replace the damaged clock. - when it was returned to me, it had black hand prints/ smears all around my steering wheel. My steering wheel is light camel color, so the black mess was painfully obvious. - the reality is that the black handprints could have been left by the car dealer that replaced the clock, but if I am the porter that was delivering this back to the customer, I would have noticed the stains and thought...."we need to clean this before giving it back to the customer." - I ended up scrubbing my steering wheel myself to remove the filthy handprints, AFTER my car was returned from the DETAIL SHOP. So, it felt strange, sitting in my garage, cleaning my SUV, after writing them a check to clean my SUV...but I didn't want to send it in a 4th time. I'm done. Still searching for a reliable auto detailer that can deep clean a vehicle, and get it done in one visit, without breaking anything. read more

This is the 3rd or 4th time I have used Crystal Clean when we fly out of the Ford Airport in Grand Rapids. You park in short term parking & they pick up your car and take it to their facility. You'll get a text and photos after they inspect your vehicle. You select the services you want done. If the inspection show things that need attention you can choose to have things done or not.I usually text them when we start our return trip home, you give them your travel time ahead of time as well. You will get a text giving you the location of your vehicle, data to open a lock box at the short term parking entrance. Grab your keys and enjoy a sparkling clean car and head home. The detailing they do is excellent. The cost othe whole package is around what it may cost to park in long term parking at the airport. Incredible car detailing service! It was the day I was going to propose to my girlfriend of 5 years, so everything had to be perfect. I dropped her and her mom off at a spa and only had a couple hours to get her moms car detailed. I was in such a rush planning this day that I forgot to make an appointment at Crystal Clean. Crystal Clean did an amazing job restoring my car back to new. They were able to get years of Lacrosse equipment smell out of the car and were extremely welcoming with great customer service. I wish I had taken before and after pictures. They did an amazing job - I was amazed at how clean the interior of the car was after they finished. The car looks brand new. They even did an exterior wash even though we only paid for the interior service. Was very easy to schedule via email. They have an overnight service that costs the same as the day time service. I called Emily and informed her that my navigation was glitching after the detail and she told me it was too late to report to them and they would not take care of it. Not to mention a few years ago I had them detail my dads car and they sprayed too much solvent in the gearbox area and had to be towed to Betten Imports *never wrote a bad review about it cause they took care of the issue ($1000+ fix) and now they tell me its been too long? Did a great job on the complete exterior and interior detail. I just bought this car used, and the interior had LOTS of dirt and other stains on the seats, floor, and ceiling even. 99% came out and what is left is hardly noticeable. Exterior detail quality was great. Much better than discount wax jobs I've had done before. Can tell just by the look and feel of the finish. Every nook and cranny was clean inside and out - can't find anything they missed. My car is super shiny and clean, looks great and feels much more like a "new" car now. I came in for a complete outside detail and they told me that THEY COULD GET RID OF THE SCATCHES and they would BUFF THE WHOLE CAR...Well when I got there the scratches were still there and they said that they WEREN'T ABLE TO DO IT. But still tried to charged me 250.00 and all they did was hand wash it. Because I went to another detail shop after a week and they told me there weren't any BUFF MARKES on the car ANYWHERE. These guys do a great job! I had some overspray from a rust touch up paint job and they got it all off. I also got an exterior detail and engine detail. My engine looks amazing compared to what it did before. The exterior looks excellent as well! It almost looks like I have a new car! Took my F150 in for an exterior detail and dropped it off the night before. Picked it up the next day only to find bugs, tar and road debris still present on the front of my rear view mirrors and bumpers, something they supposedly clean. Also found NONE of the door jams had been cleaned, again something they were supposed to do per the exterior detail. Next find was a nice thick black coating of some type of undercarriage tar was caked not only in all four wheel wells including suspension but over sprayed on my tires and exhaust! There is no me mention of this in their exterior detail package and I certainly did not want it. Add to all of this wax still left on my truck and a nice greasy/dirty smear inside my truck. Lastly, they tore the vinyl decal I had just put on my truck. This is how they treated my $45K truck! After reporting my disgust with the service and problem with the decal (with next to no apology offered) I received a full refund (took about a week) and while they agreed to replace my decal it is now OVER one month since the service and I have yet to receive my replacement decal. They were recommended to me, I called them to set up an appointment for a complete detail (meaning the COMPLETE vehicle from top to bottom and side to side!). The job was quoted at $260 being that it is a 3 row suv, the day they were working on it I received a call from Mike(retail manager) to tell me they were charging me an additional $20...due to dog hair, no biggie and understandable! I pick my Pathfinder up the next day and it looked great, until I opened the hood a few days later.... they never cleaned the engine compartment, complete cleanup/detail(??) I don't think so. I texted a pic of the engine compartment to Mike(retail manager), his response was that it's an extra charge and "sorry, he's just doing what he is told", on their own website it states that it is included in a complete detail " by request".. why would someone need to request it to be be done if they are scheduling a COMPLETE cleanup, also, he never offered to take care of it! I bought the $240 full interior/exterior detailing and was very disappointed in the service and quality. Other than the receptionist young lady's pleasant communication, the entire process left much to be desired. Problem one - when I approached my car for the first time I was really expecting the "wow" factor. Not so much. The hood of my vehicle was covered in dust from the shop. The hood also didn't feel like it had been waxed like the sides and rest of the vehicle. None of the really fine swirl type scratches had been polished out. (And I'm not talking about the larger/deeper straches that would require the 3 stage scratch removal process) Problem two - I opened up the back hatch of my SUV to find dog hair and wood chip type shavings still in the carpet. The previous owner (I just bought the vehicle) had a dog that would ride in the far back and little fine hairs were still everywhere. These hairs were "growned" into the carpet either. They werw loose and just sitting there. So no vacuuming was done let alone any shampooing of the carpet. Problem three - one of my new tinted front windows (tint was 4 days old) had a huge rip in it. I had to point this out and ask why this issue wasn't brought to my attention. Someone was obviously trying to "get away with it" by trying to send the vehicle in its way. Although they offered to pay for the replacement only after I brought it up, I had to spend an additional hour going back to the window tint place to have it fixed. Problem four - I paid an extra $50 to have them do the "paint touch up" all around the car. They said they would look to find every strach that needs a paint touch up and take care of it. I have two blarringly obvious stratches at the bottom of my drivers door that were never touched. And the ones they did "touch up" looked to be done with as much quality as using a permanent marker. The whole experience is a joke and a waste of $290. I got a glorified car wash and partial vacuum for $290. I do not recommend this company at all. read more
