They were very disorganized and cluttered, charged me(I've never been charged by them before.. and I didn't do anything different this time around) without telling me what the charge was for. When I went back to ask a question, the ladies practically yelled at me in front of other customers and didn't let me speak or ask questions. This past weekend a little screw fell off and after trying to place it back in at home I decided to call and see if they would be able to help me. Katia answered me and she was very polite over the phone and said I could stop by so they can look into it and see if they would be able to help me. I ended up going the following day and Katie was the one that greeted me. She was able to replace the little screw and even helped me pick out a new pair. Sam's sells larger quantities, sizes, and bulk items of many products, so expect to find larger packages or sizes than a regular grocery store. They don't always carry the same brands or items every time, so you get what you find that works for you, but most of the time they have plenty of things we need at great prices. On some kinds of items, basic needed things, they're pretty consistent at having in stock, but specialized items or certainly brands or certainly food items may vary. Still, we have consistently saved considerably more than our annual membership cost. ...and sometimes with only one visit. This Sam's can be crowded at peak times. But if you can get there first thing in the morning crowds won't be a problem. Sam's rotisserie chicken is great for less than $5, and they are significantly larger than the ones found at Walmart or other grocery stores. I recently found an excellent name brand winter shirt for only $13... that's less than a sale at Burlington! I also found some huge flower pots I needed for only $20 each... they would have been at least twice that anywhere else. I like our Sam's Club and have never had any problem with service.

They don't explain their charges til the end. I Went in for prescription for eyeglasses and they charged me over $150 - with two insurances! First of all they charged me $ for being a new patient then, $ for copay, then $ for some eye mapping,more $ for eyeglasses prescription and $ for an overpriced eyewash. I went home and called my vsp plan to see what happened but these people didn't submit paperwork! They billed my health insurance as a "medical visit" rather than billing the vision plan for a vision exam. They did not use my VSP vision plan because they would get more $money out of my medical insurance. According to them, it doesn't make a difference, but it does to me. I ended up dishing out more money than I needed to. And Dr Liska almost cried as he complained that he would have to do more paperwork if I made them resubmit my claim the proper way. He went on and on with his paperwork filing story. It took almost 20 minutes! Not only that, my daughter was also charged over $100 for her contact lens prescription too. According to them it was due to her not having a preauthorization. Really? I called the insurance and it was all bull. We went back and sure enough we got a refund of $100 after we called the insurance and handed them the phone. We were supposed to have paid only the copay $ for her insurance plan. I will not return to this place.

Etc.). My family all agrees she is the best in the area for eye exams. One family member had a hard time with contact lenses and Dr. Chang was great working with her. The lady who did the screening and initial testing for glaucoma, etc., was also very friendly and thorough. The ladies at the reception however could use a refresher on customer service. They did not greet me or others I noticed as we arrived. They looked like they really didn't want to be there or help. Perhaps I just caught them at a bad time. The day I went the office could have been managed better. While I had an appointment for 1 PM and arrived 15 minutes prior, I did a lot of waiting. They took me back on time, but it was 3 PM before I got out. The frames are all name brand and expensive, not well organized. If you're in a hurry, you might want to go somewhere else. However I felt it was worth the wait and the lack of professionalism from the front desk to be seen by Dr. Chang. I have tried several other places in town over the last 18 years. Some others have nicer looking buildings and perky people, but she is the best I have found. Prices are reasonable too, and some insurance is accepted. I do recommend Nolana Eye Center for eye exams but I go elsewhere to actually buy my glasses. The office is part of an older strip mall. Rather dated, a little dark with wood paneling. There is a private parking lot and it's in a great location on Nolana Ave.

Seriously...Texas State Optical deserves it…read more From the moment you call to make an appt, to when you walk in the door and are greeted by the staff...to when you finally put on that new pair of glasses you've been waiting for! TSO offers the best customer service experience possible and you get great glasses to boot. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by the staff and they checked me in. I only waited about 5 min before getting my eyes checked. Throughout the entire time, the young lady helping me was amazing. Extremely courteous... professional...and every other word that relates to customer service exemplified. I took in my old glasses so they already had an idea of my prescription. The doctor took me to the back for the eye exam and about 10 min later I was walking out. The staff then showed me which lenses I could pick from based off my insurance. After choosing the ones I liked, they said they should be ready in about 1 week. Well to my nice surprise they were ready for pickup the next day! When I went to pick them up they gave me the case with a spray and small towel to clean them with in a small bag with my name hand written on it. The devil is in the details but those little details win over customers. This feels like a fairly new optical... slightly small...but with it's amazing staff, great doctor, and top-of-the line customer service, it feels and is the best place to get your glasses.
