At the end of the evening, the shuttle service did not show up, leaving 60 guests stranded, including some who were elderly. We left voicemails and texts for the company that evening, but our calls were not returned. My husband and I were unable to fully participate during the last hour of the wedding reception because we were trying to secure Uber drivers for our guests (another expense). We received an email the following Monday from their operations manager, apologizing for what had occurred. He explained that their driver never showed up, and Lighthouse did not have the proper processes in place to realize in a timely manner that there was a problem. We were refunded $995, however, the total bill was over $3,600. Other than the email, we received no communication from them even though they indicated that Jason, the owner, would be in contact with us.

We rented a party bus to take us from Grand Rapids to Detroit this past weekend. Prior to booking,…read morethe customer service was good. I was able to negotiate the price for the group we had and booking was easy. On the day of, our driver was about 20 minutes later than the scheduled pickup time. Once we were on the bus and on the highway, we realized one window was cracked and was not sealed around the edges. At one of the rest stops, I pointed this out to our driver, Scott. He said he would stop and get something to fix it. Because it was so cold, we ended up "fixing" it ourselves with what we had - Meijer bags and paper towels - to keep the cold air from coming in. Prior to doing this, everyone was freezing and it was almost unbearable. The other issue was that he did not have the main door latched all the way, so there was cold air from the front and back of the bus. We were able to fix the window enough that allowed us all to be comfortable and still enjoy our time. Though he was late, we made it to where we needed to be in time. Everyone had a great time and Scott was very nice! It was just a little frustrating in the beginning because you are paying quite a bit of money for something.
