I went there and customer service was good! I asked for my nails to be shorter but lady doing my nails didn't want to make that shorter! DONT COME HERE !!!! Horrible service ! They don't even listen to you . I asked for oval shaped nails and she kept doing pointy Stiletto nails . I was asked to pick out a color and I picked it out as soon as I sat down toward the end they mention they don't have it "pick another one " . I should of known when I sat down what kind of service I was going to get . there was a sign right by the entrance mentioning complaints and who to direct them . I tried to stay positive through the whole service but the lady was so harsh and rude with my nails . When I told her I did not like it she ignored me then said she will fix it . She left me with long pointy dinosaur nails . They were super thick un even and ugly . I don't know why I paid I should of waited for her to fix them but honestly after I told her over and over I didn't want them that way I was done with her .she also put glue all over my hands ! This place is amazing for pedicures. They are all very kind and responsive to whatever you need changed or try to make sure you are taken care of promptly. I wouldn't necessarily recommend getting acrylics done here since there is inconsistency, but pedicures are done in a very clean and sterile manner. read more

Customers beware!!!! Went today for a Monday special to get a pedi and medi for $23.00 and shellac polish on hands and feet wish cost addtl 20.00. Spoke with owner and she quoted me $43.00 for all the services we spoke about when I walked in the nail salon and 10 mins she tell me addtl 15.00 for shellac on my feet and the pedi that's advertise she would not scrub my feet unless I pay extra per owner cuticles only .. I was very upset because before I sat down we discuss services and price and now there would be an add on's. I am currently here at this location and a first impression is a lasting impression. I knew they would be busy which is expected due to the holidays .... but their service is HORRIBLE!!!! All I wanted was a polish change . Which doesn't take long at all . Several nail techs walked over me repeatedly. People who walked in after me were serviced I guess bc they were getting pedicures and I wasn't . I had to ask for a manager and almost walk out before I was even noticed . Then the lady who did end up polishing my nails was soo ruff . I almost went off on her . Again I don't know if you all get paid off the service you provide or what . But it is very unlikely that I will be back . I came in at 230. Sat in the chair by 240 , instructed to take my shoes off and get ready for the original lady to walk off and service someone else for a pedicure . I have been going here for about 2 years and I gotta say have a love/hate relationship with them. They do a really good job but every time you go in there it's packed & Lilly the manager always says "oh just 5 mins or just 10 mins" and really you wait for 40... & Lilly can be careless like today she filed THROUGH my entire nail and made it bleed a ton. I understand mistakes happen but slow & take your time on your customer. All the other girls are really considerate though and do a great job. The prices could go down some also. BM nails a little bit down the street on Monroe charges 17 for a pedi & 15 for shellac VS Crystal nails 25 for a classic pedi & 25 for shellac. I've visited this location a couple of times due to its close proximity to my house, but only on rare occasion have I walked out satisfied. My latest experience was when I asked for shellac with a French tip design and I even showed them a picture of what I wanted - the color tip was crooked (looked like I did it myself) and it wrinkled when it was drying. The technician did it again only to find that the design polish was going to keep wrinkling, so I asked to remove the design and was charged a fee to get it removed EVEN THOUGH it wasn't my fault the design wasn't setting right. They tried taking the design off and ruined the shellac, so they had to completely remove that and reapply. The entire process took 3 groups when it usually takes a third of that. That was the final straw and I will not be going back. read more

Eyebrows is a no go here! But my nails usually stay on for 2-3 weeks nothing less than that. I've had green fungus a few times here and two of my techs left but I haven't had it since I changed techs. Hanna is my new lady. I like my nails longer slightly curved she does it perfectly. read more

If you want something simple they can do that but anything technical they can not. They need more techs with different skills for the prices they charge. Most of them don't care how your nail looks. I've been coming here since 2011 and I really love the color selection and the reasonable prices for what I love to get. Most of the time they do offer drinks including wine or mimosas. If they don't offer it because they are super busy but don't be shy to ask. I drive all the way from Rosharon Texas to get my nails done here because I can't part from them! I came here last Sunday and it was such a terrible experience! My usual place (TLC nails) is closed on Sundays and I was in desperate need to take off my acrylics since some were broken and starting to hurt... when I go in, I tell them I want to take off my acrylics and just put polish on my natural nails. These annoying ladies kept pestering me to keep acrylics or get dip or get shellac. And i had to keep on smiling and saying no twenty times. I'm serious they kept telling trying to persuade me to get acrylics or shellac ATLEAST 15 times. And after the nail tech, Amy, took off my acrylics and was like shellac right? I was like no?? I want polish. She gasped and made a disgusted face and said "really baby." Yes! That's what I've been saying all along! She was so pissed off she didn't file my nails correctly and had me pay immediately. I felt so bad that I tipped her really good (even though I shouldn't have) and when she saw the tip she was SO happy! She jumped and had a different change in attitude. I was disgusted but whatever I just wanted her to finish my nails. Never coming again. I suggest everyone go to TLC! They are all so good with nails and so very kind. read more

The first time I went to Crystal Nail & Spa was during their grand opening in 2011. I had a great experience- my pedicure was awesome, everyone was very attentive and I thought to myself I found my new favorite place. Since then I've been back a few times for a very mediocre experience (but it's honestly because of location- I live 3 minutes away). A few weeks ago was the last straw for me. I went in for a pedicure and was told the usual (5 more minutes) it ended up being 40. Which is fine- whatever- they were busy I didn't have an appointment and I didn't have much else to do. I finally got seated and the water was cold. When I asked them to please heat it up they did but it was barely warm. I had orginally wanted a manicure as well but since I had already waited so long I was just ready to leave. They talked me into the manicure saying they could do it at the same time as my pedicure. My manicure sucked so bad- I ended up going home and removed the polish (that BTW was so thick it moved when I touched it! and this was after giving them 30 minutes to dry). I know everyone has a bad day but lately the last few times I had gone it was the same thing. I always got the Deluxe pedicure that included the hot stone massage and paraffin wax and the wax would be warm (it didn't even stick to my feet) and the hot stones were rubbed on my legs like 2 times. I feel rushed everytime I go and I'm a mom of 2 with a full time job and part time college student. Pedicures are my haven. You mess that 1 hour up for me one too many times. I will never be back. Beware: this place is horrible! You have to ask for clean supplies or they'll use a non sanitized set. I also went in there today for a quick polish, the lady said "yes sit down no wait". I sat and they put my feet in water and a very rude lady came and started saying "I don't understand what you need. Maybe you should pay extra and just get a pedicure." Went to crystal nail salon and spa 1/31/15 for the first time. My husband came with and got a deluxe pedicure and I got a classic mani and pedi. We were asked to wait in a separate area a good size room with 2 spa chairs that was perfect for me and my husband. Had a tv, pretty light fixtures and massage chairs (like most salon chairs). The biggest problem I had is that we're told to wait in the back and it looked like they didn't bother to clean the room prior to asking us to sit. There was cotton balls on the floor, litter on the salon chair tables from I'm assuming a previous client,stray trash on the ground and used towels.The girl came in greeted us and picked up the trash and towels left over. Also the tv in the private room didn't work, disappointing considering I couldn't play on my phone and just looking around the whole time. Overall the mani and pedi experience was great and my husband enjoyed his first pedicure. Cleanliness is important,that's why I gave only 3 stars. I went here (made an appointment) since it was really close to where I live and it was my first time trying this nail salon so I didn't put my expectations high. The service was decent since they rushed. I had mani with some acrylic to make a coffin shape and colored/design with shellac and pedi as well as eyelash extensions. To be honest, I got cut twice on my pinky and index finger (right hand) I just noticed it stung right when she was putting on the acrylic but i didn't say and just thought I'll wait and see how many times i got cut. Also I kind of got OCD'd when I saw the design, I guess I should've just ask if she could use the thin tape instead. Pedicure was good but the polish on my big toes got messed up because i had to walk too before I noticed the thing that separates my toes were paper towel and when they fixed it they just added more polish. So the outcome wasn't good. But the most reason I went here was for eyelash extension. The price that I saw was $65 but the technician who did my eyelash just charged me $55 (thank God and thanks to her) since she said I don't have to add the longer ones. Plus I just wanted it to look as natural as possible. When she was done I thought it looked good (there wasn't enough lighting in there).. But when I got home, my husband said it kind of looked messy because of the glue. During my trip, day 1, one the lashes fell already considering that I was careful with it. read more
