Came in for a walk in acrylic set and pedicure. They both had clients when I came in, so they asked me if I could come back in an hour and a half. No problem, I came back and they got me in straight away. Hannah did both my pedicure and acrylic set and did an amazing job. Genuinely the best job I've ever had done on my nails. Can't wait to come back for my next set!

This place was a recommendation from someone my boyfriend works with. Today was my first visit, and I must say I'm quite pleased! I called to schedule an appointment for 2-2:30. The lady who answered the phone (Hannah) was upfront and honest and said they'd be busy at that time, and asked I could come sooner. I arrived around 1:20-1:25. Tommy was very nice, and started the process of taking my powder dip off. While discussing what I wanted, it turned out he didn't have it. He said he would order though so that made me very happy. He was conversational, but not too much. Which I personally like. He was personable and nice. Made me feel very comfortable. I had my dip taken off, new put on, filed and polished all within an hour. I was pleasantly surprised. They look absolutely beautiful! I will continue to come back to give a fair rating, but today was definitely great and I will be back!

I don't go any where else to get my nails done! Highly recommend this place! I have never left disappointed. I get gel on my natural nails, & have not been able to find any other salons that will file my nails to a point without trying to force me to get acrylics, except Crystal Nails! The prices are great too! Just $23 for gel. I noticed other reviews complaining about wait time. I always call early in the morning & make a same day appointment. I've never waited longer than 15 minutes after said appointment time. It honestly doesn't bother me to wait a little longer for such great service. From what I gathered, it's a just couple who own the salon. There aren't other employees, so it's just 2 people the whole time. They're obviously busy & in high demand b/c they are GOOD at what they do. They do walk ins if they aren't busy, but people call & make appointments which i don't think the walk ins realize. Maybe that's why they are unsatisfied. I also noticed complaints about them speaking in their own language and that offending people. THAT'S RIDICULOUS. If you spoke another language why would you not use it? That shouldn't offend anyone! I wouldn't take that personally. I think they are great! The lady is really sweet & does a wonderful job. Her husband does just as well & is funny! Love this place!!!

I don't think I have ever done a yelp review but this place deserves one. I live 20 mins away and have heard great things about Crystal Nails. I happened to be on their side of town so I stopped in this morning just after opening to get a fill w/gel polish and was able to get in fairly quickly. Let me tell you, this is the best my nails have looked since moving to Indiana 5 years ago. The lady who did my nails gave me the exact look, shape and color I wanted. Flawless! I will not go anywhere else again. read more

This is in response to Diamond V's review. I was the customer in the chair when the owner called to let you know he could take you earlier and asked if you wanted to come in early. He NEVER said anything about canceling your appt. You totally misunderstood his call. I've been going to this nail salon for 20 plus years. They call people when they have extra time if you want or can come earlier. It's always your choice. They do great work and I have never left there disappointed. Their prices are current with other salons. They really care about their work and clients. This bad review by Diamond V is totally false and had to have been a misunderstanding on her part. read more

I went back today to get a pedicure. Still the best experience. Hannah asked my if I wanted my Nails cut or just shaped and if the water temp was ok. I had a whole hot stone pedicure that was affordable af. I always do my own feet because I'm super ticklish but this was such a relaxing experience I couldn't ask for anything better. And affordable too!! They took the time to go thru the nail swatches to match my manicure which I seriously appreciate.. I trust both Hannah and Tommy. Definitely recommend crystal nails read more

I always make an appointment, and with it being a small business, I recommend making an appointment to ensure you can get in. Best nail place in the area. They are so nice! Prices are great and they accept walk ins and appointments, I came to get my nails done for vacation and they turned out great! Mani and pedi with acrylic gel nails was only 73$! Can't beat that! I love this place and Tommy and his wife are so nice and they know what they are doing! Would 100% recommend to any one read more

I was recently referred by my bestfriend who has been going to crystal nails for 5 years. I called when I was on my way there I was in a rush and they got me right in the owners took care of me. The salon is very upscale now the decor, very clean & the nail techs treated me so good. My nails have never looked as good as they did when I left this spot. I get the acrylic gel usually & this was the first time ever that my nails were the perfect shape & thin not chunky. I was in and out in 45 mins which is perfect bc I could tell they didn't rush me but I hate sitting still so I was happy it was all done In a timely manner. I've been at salons for 2 hours just for a fill in. This spot is awesome. You can tell they take pride in the work they do on each customer & the customer service was amazing I'll be back every 2 weeks and I'll be referring all my family & coworkers to them! read more

I really love this place. I have never had a bad experience with any technician. It is a smaller salon so make sure you make an appointment or you might get turned away or told to come back later on. It is worth it and they have very affordable prices. read more

I've been a customer for nearly ten years. There are two nail salons walking distance from my house plus a half- dozen others I pass on the drive to Crystal Nails. They are by far the best and I wouldn't trust my nails to anyone else! Plus, I love the color change polish and hot stone pedicure - so relaxing! read more

Great location for me -- to/from work and the gym. I've been here often, but the level of service has decreased; the quality of the mani/pedi has stayed the same -- very good. My 3-star rating is driven from the wait time when I've made an appointment weeks in advance. I should not have a 30-minute wait just because the person prior to me added a service. Secondly, I find it quite annoying and a bit rude that the technicians speak often to each other in their native language, and at times is feels like they're talking about me or the other customers. Maybe not, but when in the USA, how about talking in English -- and maybe try engaging customers in a brief conversation. I'm not "one of those" who want to talk throughout the entire services, but a brief one would be nice. Instead....I find myself staring at the TV. I'm going to look for another nail place -- with a good location, but more courteous service. I know some friends who go elsewhere where they're offered coffee/tea/water and some who offer a glass of wine. read more

This is the best nail salon I have been to in Indianapolis. I'm in marketing so upkeep is a priority. My color and nails last longer then they ever have. I have gotten so many compliments on my nails from frequent goers to establishment like this. They pay attention to details and they never rush though to get to the next client. I don't mind booking an appointment to get in because I know I'm getting excellent service once I sit in the chair. I highly recommend! See for yourself. read more

THE ABSOLUTE BEST SALON EVER!!!! I get my nails (acrylic), feet and eyebrows done here and I have been for quite a while and I will NEVER make the mistake of going anywhere else ever again!!! The staff are always nice, pleasant and funny and they are always up to date on what is hot and poppin in the nail game! They NEVER let me leave here looking crazy! To top it off they are extremely affordable! I have never had one bad experience here. I made the mistake one time of going somewhere else and I ended up paying $10 more for absolute crap work from a supposed "upscale" salon. NEVER AGAIN!!!! I more than highly recommend this salon to EVERYONE!!! read more

Didn't want to stay in there anyway due to poor ventilation and the fumes were just too overbearing!!! Do better!! And get some air flowing in this chemical box!!

I LOVE Crystal Nails!!!!!!! Tommy and the girls ALWAYS do such an awesome job with my nails. I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS get compliments on my nails and I rarely have any issues with the gel nails chipping or falling off doing normal everyday activities. I've been going to Crystal Nails regularly for over a year now and also went years ago before I moved back to the area. Their prices are reasonable and they do high quality work. I return every two weeks and they always get me in with no problem. I always make my next appointment before I leave the salon each time and I never have any issues with my preferred appointment time. They do walk-ins during in-between appointments or if people cancel their appointments. It's frustrating to see a negative review because someone couldn't get a walk-in when they wanted? Come on... That isn't fair to post negative reviews about them and it's being very unrealistic. That's the point of a walk-in....There is no guarantee with walk-ins, and yes, you will generally have to wait. Making appointments with Crystal Nails is absolutely necessary because they are clearly VERY POPULAR due to their great work! It's just like going to a busy hair salon....If you want quality work done, then you have to wait for it or make an appointment. It is definitely well worth the wait there with Tommy and the girls. :) :) Besides, I'd rather go to a salon that is always busy than one that is not. This speaks volumes about a business! Afterall, they are only 3 salon individuals who always multi-task and work very hard to service all their clientele in a timely manner. I'm sure if they could be magic and work on multiple people at once, they would certainly do it. No complaints from me. I can guarantee those people who complain about having to make appointments would be upset if they were the ones with the appointment and it was taken by someone who was a walk-in. The answer to that is... just make an appointment and you will have no reason to wait or wrongly complain. I rarely have to wait but a few minutes each time I arrive at my reserved appointment time. Tommy and the girls are realistic and respectful to everyone's time, all while doing such a great job! Tommy always makes me laugh and I frequently yawn while I'm there because I'm sooo relaxed. They also give you a card to have punched each time you have a service done when you pay with cash. Once the card is full, then you will get a largely discounted service. Love Crystal Nails! There have complimentary beverages available and a wide variety of colors to choose from. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Tommy and his wife are very personable and will help you choose the best service for you if you're not sure what you want or need for your lifestyle. Although they accept walk-in customers, I recommend calling for an appointment since it's just the two of them and they are often booked solid for the day, especially on the weekends. I always get the gel treatment on my hands and coordinating polish on my toes, but I think I'm going to try the powder dip the next time I come. They accept credit cards, but give you an incentive to pay cash with their CASH REWARD CARD. After 10 stamps, you receive $16 off and get another card. Win/win!! read more

I absolutely LOVE this shop!!!! Being newer to the area I had went elsewhere and had my nails messed up I went in randomly one day to see if they could fix them. Tommy did not just fix them but he gained the shop a lifetime customer! I get sooo many compliments on my nails and Tommy is HILARIOUS!! His wife Hannah is the sweetest as well!! I have introduced my mom and aunt to the shop as well and recommend them to everyone who mentions my nails. Tommy is always up for trying out the sometimes crazy designs I find online! I really like crystal nails. The staff is always friendly and willing to do work with me on whatever requests I have. They all call me by my first name and remember what it is I like and how I like my nails done. I have been to other salons and the job is not even close. They do the extras without extra charges. My nails always look great. They are always busy and willing to work my schedule. I always make an appointment and they get in me in right away. THE PLACE TO GET YOUR NAILS DONE! They are kind, professional, and they do a PHENOMENAL job! The nail art is detailed and fun. The pedicures are relaxing and well done. The lady who did my pedicure did a nice job, but as it got closer to closing time and she hadn't done my nails yet, she rushed through my nails.
