I have been coming here for several months, after searching for a new salon closer to where I live. I love that they take online appointments on their website. It's very convenient. They always have 5-7 technicians working there and it seems to be very busy on weekends. So if you walk in on Saturday or Sunday you will likely have to wait. Book it in advance! At other salons, i used to have to wait 5-15 minutes even with an appointment... but here, it never happens. When I check in I usually sit down right away. For the last few visits, Winky did my gel polish and she is very thorough, detail oriented and a perfectionist. Everyone here gives me undivided attention most of the time. I'm so used to seeing nail technicians talking on the phone, chatting or streaming videos while they work on my nails. So seeing them dedicating all the focus and energy to me feels nice. They waxed my eyebrows and I am extremely disappointed. Asked if she could shape them because they were "uneven" and then maybe them VERY thin and made them more noticeably uneven. Wow....my first terrible experience here was pretty bad but this last time was ridiculous. I admit, I'm guilty of always giving second chances. First time the manicurist rushed through my pedicure but I later learned she had a kid to pickup so I understood and I didn't make a review. The owner was very understanding and said that I could come back later to redo the pedicure...cool. Went back a couple times after that with no issues. This last time...is the absolute last time. The manicurist cut my nails way too short and to compensate, she filed the side of my nail in waaayyyy to much to the point where it hurts! The manicurist realized her mistakes and said that because I didn't like my nails and that I'm hurt, I'll only have to pay for the pedicure...fair. We get to the register and the owner sees what I've been charged for and loses it!!! She yelled, "you always do this and if you didn't like the nails I can just do them over!" Embarrassing!!! Like I'm always trying to get a discount!!! My nail was hurt, how could they be done over??? She had the worst attitude I've ever experienced. She stormed way when she realized my point was valid and allowed her husband to continue checking me out. The husband was always sweet so this review isn't for him but the owner gets a big FAT ZERO in my book. She acts like she doesn't care about losing a customer to her rude behavior so I'll just stop patronizing. read more

Hands down the best nail salon in the Indianapolis area. The first time I visited, the staff treated me wonderfully. As a regular, the service has only continued to be better and better. Every service I get is extremely well done, the staff has an extremely high level of quality. My gel manicure always last at least two weeks, often times more. I'm not sure how to creatively review a nail place, but I can not recommend pinky's enough. read more

My first mani/pedi in a long time, and Ann at Pinky's Nails did awesome!!! The pedicure was wonderful and she did a perfect job on my toes. I am a runner and asked that she not remove my calluses. She softened them but did not remove them. I also asked that she keep my toenails short because of this, and she shaped them beautifully while keeping them very short. I got my first shellac manicure and was nervous because I have seen reviews for other places saying that they got too far from the cuticle initially, causing the growth to be very noticeable after two weeks. Ann did an amazing job getting the polish right up to my cuticle, giving plenty of room for growth! I am a guitar player and asked her to be careful in removing calluses on my left hand, and she did an amazing job. I will definitely make Pinky's my place for manis and pedis in the future! I came here for the first time recently and was really impressed! We were greeted with the door being opened for us, and were accommodated for a pedi for my mom and a mani/pedi for me even though they were closing in 45 minutes. The salon was very clean, and they seem to offer a variety of services, including the protein dip manicure which I've been dying to try! My gel mani was very good though. Service was impeccable and my nails looked good for weeks. I look forward to coming back again. read more

This is for Pinky's Nails in Boone Village Shopping Center Zionsville IN. My pedicure was mediocre at best. Removed old set and had new set done. I have had acrylic nails since 1984. Hands down the very WORST nails I have ever had. They were too short. Too thick and left rough and bumpy. Product on my hands. Sides were over flowing onto the skin. I did a better job when I did my own in 1978!!! I would never recommend anyone to go to this shop!! read more

I found this nail salon by chance. I didn't have any expectations, just wanted a manicure and pedicure. I entered the shop no one greeted me although at least 2 technicians stopped what they were doing to look at me. Shortly after a lady says " what do you want- sign in" not even waiting for a response. Shortly after another person comes in, and you would've thought they were going to throw a ticker tape parade, she was greeted- someone came and helped her with choosing a nail color, they offered her something to drink and even told her the wait time as she signed in. Wow what a greeting. I went on Monday on my way home from work to get the new powder polish. I had it before and loved it. This time it looked like a 5 yr old painted my nails! I went back tonight to see if they could fix it and sat for about 10 minutes before they did anything, then they put foil on my fingers, about 25 minutes later still nothing but they keep waiting on the paying customers. Finally started taking the foil off of my nails, nothing was said until I started to getup to leave, then they wanted me to sit back down and someone would help me. NO THANKS! read more

Came in with my 10 year old for a mani/pedi and a gel polish change/pedi. The service I received was horrible, she forgot to put top coat on my toes and rushed right through. She told me during my polish change rudely that I needed to get a manicure and that my nails look horrible, and they either don't have kids prices or charged me for an adult. Remind you she's 10 and she got charged as an adult. I spent 90 dollars for a sucky experience, and both of our nails don't even look good. NOT worth the money, I recommend Mia's instead. read more

Then try to convince you that you were late when they were already working on a customer during the time you were set to have your appointment. I have been getting Gel nails for a few years now, and Ive settled at Pinky's. They are great! I mentioned that I shouldn't use the UV light to "cure the nails" and they ordered the LED light for me! The next time I went in they had it!!! I bring my daughter with me and they are really nice to her too. Kids prices can't be beat! love pinky's. Very clean also. The girl that did my nails was very rude. She kept commenting on how terrible my nails & cuticles were (isn't that one of the reasons you get your nails done? If they were perfect I wouldn't be there....). She also pulled OTHER nail techs over and told them how bad they were, which was not only embarrassing for me, but rude in general. I could tell by the end she didn't want to do my nails anymore (the feeling was mutual but I kept quiet out of RESPECT). By the time it was time for the top coat she was doing it so quickly she missed half of each nail. I had to redo the top coat at home, but the polish still only stayed for 2-3 days before it started chipping. I have heard great reviews of other nail techs, so I guess it's hit & miss... read more
