Honestly if I could leave a review with 0 stars I would... Normally my girlfriend and I are regulars here at Crystal Nugs and have given this store business many times as well as introducing our friends to this place but I'm honestly very disappointed and disturbed by how their service has been lately. There has now been two situations that haven't sat right with me. First situation happened about a few months ago and it was right before it was my turn to get my ID checked, a man before me was waiting patiently to go upstairs to receive his order. He asked the woman in the front one more time to check in and see what was going on and how much longer. Right away this woman snaps at him and tells him "We don't speak Spanish here, you need to tell me in English or leave!" because he spoke with a strong accent. Now I know this woman is normally rude so I let this one slide (my first mistake). Second situation (today) As I was placing my order on the kiosk upstairs, I noticed not one but THREE of the tenders laughing at a man (who only spoke Spanish) that needed assistance with an order. One of the employees was losing her cool because he wasn't understanding what she was trying to say. Another employee continuously shouted "YOU KNOW NO MORE?? NO MAS! NO MAS! YOU KNOW WHAT NO MAS MEANS??" which was in a very obvious derogatory manner. Upsetting as this was to watch from a distance, I had to step in to help translate to the man what the situation was. Now I have worked in the customer service industry for many years and have encountered many customers who spoke languages I couldn't understand but I still found a way to communicate between them because it is SO EASY to pull up google translate and continue on the service. As this is a black and woman owned business, you would think they would carefully consider the type of employees they hire on ESPECIALLY in this political climate. This is the second time their hours have said 830 and i tried to place an order at 7:45 pm and was told delivery had stopped. Like for the customers sake update your hours when you decide to close or stop a service early. Usually, I have an amazing experience with this place. I've never been asked to take my backpack off and leave in the lobby today I was asked. I asked if they would be responsible for the property that was left inside of my backpack while I went upstairs if not, I didn't feel comfortable leaving it there. They said I could either leave my backpack or I could get out basically that that was their policy. A lady walked in right behind me with a backpack bigger than mine. They didn't ask her to leave hers downstairs they didn't ask to look inside of hers when I mentioned it. He said it was because that's her purse. I said what makes it different. It wasn't a purse style backpack. It was a backpack. He said that she was a woman that was her purse. He didn't need to look in her purse. She didn't need to leave her purse downstairs. I said that's discrimination. That's not OK. I carry the same things in my backpack that she carries in her purse my wallet, my phone, my portable charger, my AirPods I carry gear for work, my work laptop my work phone at any given time I have probably $5000 worth of stuff in my backpack so I don't see why I should have to allow a person to search my backpack or leave my backpack in the lobby with a bunch of other people just because I'm a male other than today's experience, my experience with staff and product has always been amazing. I believe it is woman owned, and I just like how they do business. The prices are middle range. Recently they have been low on my favorites, but that's not new in this business. The "customer service " woman at the entrance/lobby was the rudest person I've encountered at a dispensary. Didn't greet us, didn't politely ask for our ID or what she needed from us. We found ourselves coming into Crystal Nugs on a Saturday. This was our first time walking into a dispensary of any kind so we did NOT know what to expect. Once we got to the showroom it was a regular shopping experience with VERY knowledgeable and helpful staff - it was a personal shopping experience when we were there and I am so appreciative of the information! We went in for CBD gummies and learned so much about different strains, ratios, and different CBD and CBG types of products. I will be looking into their delivery options and returning to this business as they carry many items and have friendly staff that keep you informed. The sort of "not usual" parts of the in person experience that I was unsure about before going in are that the staff buzzes you in the front door - the windows are the 1-way mirroring so they can see you from the inside front desk, but you have no idea what's happening (the first time). Then you check in by showing the front staff your ID - they keep track of who is coming into the building. They then send you upstairs (or elevator is an option) and you begin your shopping in the show room. I recently purchased a dime industries wax pen that I've bought many times before and never have had this issue. I went three days after buying before even opening it as I was still working on my previous one and finally went to put it to use and got nothing from it. Fully charged it, made sure it wasn't clogged (there should have been no reason for it to be clogged) but checked anyway. Looked online for reasons this can be happening and if it's something I can fix at home but nope seems to be an internal issue. However, there has been several times that I have ordered delivery in the morning and did not get it delivered until 4 or 5 in the evening. I was informed that my delivery time was between 12:30 and 1:30. this meant that I was stuck at home for 6 hours waiting for a delivery. Product on website states a certain amount of THC level for example if you order a 25.5 thc you may get a 18.2 and the delivered jar will have a Store generated printed sales tag matching the website level but the container factory sealed label will clearly state a much lower level clearly making this a bait and switch.
