From the beginning I told him we had only PayPal or Venmo to make the payment for the cleaning that he did on Wednesday and I just can't seem to understand even today if the kid CAN'T read. He behaved like the pool cleaning wasn't going to be paid and started texting uncontrollably to pay him, that I wasn't being fair etc (I'm attaching screenshots) when I told him from the beginning that we didn't have cash, cards or checks and needed to pay via one of the methods used and he just kept sending the payment link which doesn't have the option of paying with PayPal or Venmo so I decided to wait until our cards arrived in the mail on Friday (today) to go ahead and proceed with both of the quotes he gave us which was $580 for fixing the motor of the pool and $75 for the pool cleaning. He still decided to behave as if though we need to request someone cleans the pool for free and were never going to pay him. They are prompt in answering and he accommodated for his employee to come out on Wednesday and treated the pool for a bit of algae that had accumulated due to the motor being damaged but the way he handles business is unfortunately not good. We were going to hire his company for our monthly plus the fixing of the motor and he completely ruined that because of the way he behaved. He rescued me from those nasty pool sharks I had nipping at my heels! Darwin was kind enough to go to my second home and access the problem with the pump which was just the motor. He also saw the o ring was leaking water and he fixed that problem. The pool guy sunk me for a new filter and o ring replacement 2 months ago and never mentioned it was leaking water. Darwins HONESTY and efficient service was top notch and he saved me half of what my rip off pool guy quoted. To me that is a blessing. I am so happy I called Darwin from Brave pools. He really saved my ship from sinking! In this world today its tough to find HONEST RELIABLE people that really are there for their customers and not for the dollar bill! Darwin is one of these people. Would I refer Brave pools for anyone with pool needs? You better believe I would. Their name has leak detection and they charge you for that service but all they do is to trace your…read moreplumbing and mark it on the floor. It turns out that those marks don't even accurately show how the pipes are routed. They charged me $450 to show the endpoint of a pipe that was leaking which as shown in the photos they said it end to the kitchen island five feets away. However, the plumber had to run the tape to find the end point at opposite side of the house which was not even in his markings. He charged me $650 extra because he had to cut each pipe at the manifold to see which one is the right one. I am wondering why are we even doing this kind of leak detection since running the tape into the pipe is the only concrete way to find the end of leaky pipe and the plumber charged for that service anyways. I can't justfying $450 I paid for a merely a guess work so my loss is your win take my advise and don't do it.
