They arrived yesterday and are stunning. However, my ring is a bit large and needed attention. I went into Mark's and was greeted by Hillary. She was exceptional. She was gracious knowledgeable and gave me her expert advice. And these were rings that were not even purchased through her company. She advised me what I should do and made the ring wearable for me for our event tomorrow night. She turned to bad situation into a positive experience I've had some repairs done at Marks and have purchased a few items. Because of Hillary's actions they have a customer for life. My good former jeweler had passed away, so I was trying establish a trustworthy relationship with…read moreNeill for a little over a year, as it's really difficult to find a good and honest jeweler when selling gold and silver. But unfortunately Neill failed at this and lost my business, because he began trying to be "slick" and "nickel-diming" me by using false spot prices on Saturdays, instead of using that Friday's closing spot price. Recently, he quoted me $60 for a silver dollar on a Friday afternoon, but I chose not to sell it until the following day on Saturday. So I came back in to sell the coin Saturday, and all of a sudden it was $55 when Friday's spot close price was even slightly higher. I was distracted and in a hurry during the transaction, expectant and trusting of him paying me the $60 he quoted me Friday afternoon. I went back to question him about it and he was reluctant to answer me as to where he got this fake spot price, and was really nonchalant about it also. He also patronized me by telling me that I should have realized it during sale and not have sold the coin(s). (I also had a 2 silver quarters he paid $2.50 less than he quoted me Friday). So apparently he used some phantom silver market on that Saturday, and now earned himself a review for not only for $10, but another time where I caught him and he managed to reimbursed me, but I had to let that incident slide that time because I had no other choice for a jeweler nearby. But an honest jeweler uses and should use the last spot price at close of market, and this doesn't reflect the reputation of Dublin jewelers has. Seems like a hit or miss with Neill now. And lately, I've noticed the atmosphere of service in there has changed since I began going there, because in January or February the place was locked up during normal business hours a couple times, plus, a guy at his age who gets his eyebrow pierced also makes me wonder. Sorry, but I won't cheated and patronized. Be wary and knowledgeable always when doing gold and silver business here, and even anywhere nowadays.

The owner was very knowledgeable and gave it a quick shine that made it look new again. There was no pretentious aura and it was a very comfortable place to browse. I tried on a claddagh ring that i would have bought but it didn't fit. This is a solid place, i'll definately go back. very good service, very professional without the pretentious BS that you find at jewelry boutiques these days.
