Four steps into the shop the combination of music and a display of gemstones stopped me with awe. The only other time that's happened to me on Kauai was an a hike in Waimea Canyon as I looked down at the coastline. This store delivers on two counts. There are low cost gifts and geodes for the more serious collector. On second thought it delivers on three counts. The owner is very friendly, knowledgeable, a laid back. He overheard us saying we needed to find a bathroom as we walked out the door and he offered us the key. I took a few pictures and I hope they entice you to stop into this magickal space. We will be back when we are in town. It is worth the long-ish drive to the far end of the island. read more

Absolutely horrible service. Male shop worker (perhaps owner) told us to not pick up product, cursed, and called us "f*cking idiots." Overpriced for the quality of crystals. Shipment prices and mark ups are understood, but 45 dollars for an inch pendant of locally sourced material is outrageous. Would leave a 0 star if possible. I never leave reviews, but this was the worst crystal shop I have ever been in, with fake crystals made of glass and resin priced at 40 dollars on the low end. read more

I found some great gifts here! Shell jewelry, pearls, paintings, all things girly. It was a great store with fair pricing. i didn't feel gauged like I sometimes do at places like this. I didn't chat much with the owner but she was cordial and seemed very attentive to another shopper. I'd come back here for their selection of jewelry and decorative paintings. there's still a piece I didn't get I'm dreaming of. Not all but some of her pieces were so unique, I'd never seen anything quite like them. Will definitely be back next time I am in Kauai! read more

I was planning on buying a trilobite fossil, until the cashier rudely accused my three year old of stealing a gem. She had a small purple dinosaur toy, and we even asked if she'd like to see it, to prove our innocence but she scoffed and said it was fine. The fossil was close to 35 dollars, but after being treated in that manner, we walked out. She could have easily gotten up to check, but didn't once get out of her seat. I bought a number of crystals and jewelry at the Crystal and Gems Gallery as gifts for kids and friends today. This is not my first visit there. Both personnel at the store were very helpful explaning to me the characteristics of each stone and gently guiding me with the proper choices. They provided a small writeup with every type of crystal and stone. The choice and quality of crystals and stones is unlike I have ever seen. I am not a big crystal afficionado but I lingered in the store and really enjoyed the colors, shapes and sparkles. They also have amazing large geodes and oriental wood sculptures. I almost feel like the visit to the store was a healing experience. read more

The most extensive collection i've ever seen. This beautiful shop had so many options i was blown away. I easily spent almost an hour in the store. The shop owner is very knowledgeable and is more than willing to help with anything you need to know about the stones. Do not go in there and try to spend less than $10 and pay with card! She will lose money due to fees and it's not fair to her. Bought some beautiful crystals i have not seen anywhere else, i truly loved the store. read more

I went into Crystals & Gems today to hopefully purchase some gem stones to add to my collection which is so important to me during these trying times. I was told immediately to put on a mask to which I responded that I don't wear masks and the very rude employee behind the desk turned into a complete bully. I told her that I don't support the fear vibration and being in a store like this, I had had hopes that this would be understood. It escalated quickly and ended up with her standing up, approaching me very boldly and she aggressively told me to "Get your ass out of the store!" Needless to say, I will never return, even though I live quite close. Instead I will find a much more peaceful way of obtaining gem stones. read more

I've been looking forward to visiting this store all day... we came to this side of the island because of it. Our very calm and well behaved son was with us. Within 20 seconds of being in the store the clerk snapped at him while he was looking around... my husband quickly went right next to him and we assured her we would watch him. He wasn't touching anything at all, just walking towards the back of the store. We completely understand her concern and would not have minded a kind warning, but then she continued... she rudely told us everything was expensive and we would have to buy what he breaks. We were shocked! We were only in there for less than 30 seconds and he touched nothing! We immediately walked out. Such an awful way to treat customers. There are two woman that work in the store that are EXTREMELY rude. I am a resident of Kauai and have been in this store numerous times and have spent a LOT of money here. The last two times I have been in here, the woman working the counter was unbelievably unkind, unpleasant and unhelpful. Just today, she snapped at a tourist inquiring about purchasing a necklace and sniped at me when I asked for help looking for the items I went in intending to purchase. She was unkind to my two children who were with me and preceded to try to start an argument with me in front of small kids. Unacceptable behavior. DO NOT spend your money here. The store is over priced to begin with which never bothered me until the woman working have been completely disrespectful to myself and my family. There is another crystal store in Kapa'a or you could order whatever you need online for a much lesser price. Needless to say, we left without purchasing anything have ordered the items needed online and having them overnighted. These woman to not embrace the Aloha spirit of the island, much less the peaceful life of those who use crystals to better their everyday lives. read more
