We started at Crème de la Crème at the beginning of this year, and it has been an incredible experience so far. We came from another local daycare facility in the area, and we are so glad we found this place. From the outside, the building might look small and a bit tucked away, but it truly proves the saying "you can't judge a book by its cover." Once you walk inside, the facility is surprisingly large and spacious, with beautifully decorated high ceilings and thoughtfully designed learning areas. Lily, the Director, has been amazing from the start. She regularly checks in with us and makes sure everything is going well. She and the entire staff are incredibly cheerful and professional, while also creating a genuine sense of care and trust. Every morning we are greeted with smiles, and my son is excited to go to class each day. One of the biggest differences we've noticed compared to our previous daycare is the variety of activities and spaces available to the kids. Because the facility is so large, the children aren't confined to one room or a single playground all day. Instead, they get to move throughout the school and experience different environments. Some of the amazing things available to the kids include: - A mini cafeteria where they can participate in cooking activities - A science lab - An indoor basketball court - An in-school library with Spanish lessons - A media center - Three large playgrounds for different age groups - Art classes - An imagination center for dress-up and creative play - A large activity room with a stage, toys, and tables for group play The environment allows kids to explore, learn, and move throughout the day rather than being cooped up in a single classroom. They have space, freedom, and endless opportunities to grow. Since starting here, we've already seen so much development in our son compared to our previous facility. We are a returning family and we LOVE it here. During the pandemic we brought our boys here to play and stay socialized with other kids. They set up a space for the kids to distance learn and then had fun activities for them to do. We just recently took in my granddaughter and needed childcare, so naturally I came back to my friends at Creme de la Creme. She is in the infant room and Ms Valerie, Ms Josie, and Ms Mary are so sweet and so kind. The culinary space is amazing, imagination island is a little town of make believe, and the science room looks like a solar system. This place is AWESOME. Where do I begin!!! Welp both of my kids have been in daycare since they were 6 weeks old I always wanted to be a stay home mama but life happens and the bills keep on adding on. Anyway, so our journey has been all over the place from starting at Kindercare across the road which was awesome because Ms. Ana was phenomenal! Patient, kind, loving etc but their staff was rude and pretty much didn't seem happy to be at work. Once she left my son didn't thrive in the next classroom. I witnessed the teacher yelling awfully at another child and I knew that if she didn't already my son would be her next punching bag so sad I remember thinking some ppl get the job just because they have bills to pay and others because they genuinely love and adore children and being a valuable asset to their growth and development! We then tried The Goddard and that one was worst!!! I have to many negatives to say about that company so I rather not relive that. but let's just say they are family owned and the director is cold and seems to have favorites etc. it's no wonder my son would cry when I left him :( Tutor time was next up omg I loved the front desk staff but the teachers well.... My son would cry at drop off and it broke my heart. He seemed so unhappy and way too many incidents including ER visits for stitches . Finally, we tried Crème de la crème! Which I wished I would have gone to way sooner but at the time under different ownership they didn't assist with military family's so it was a lot of money but I paid for the peace of mind!! Now they do and it's awesome no complaints and was worth it even when paying full price out of pocket. Since I've been there about 6 years now with both of my children Ms. Lily and her team have been nothing short of amazing! Extremely attentive to our needs as a family. Always a consistent bubbly read to help solution oriented atmosphere. The kids are happy and excited for school daily. I love the curriculum and fun education they experience daily! My son is 7 now and he still wants to go back for summer breaks. My daughter is 4 1/2 now and has been here since she was 1 with Ms. Morgan which was awesome and the rest of the teachers have been amazing as well. There's nothing like the ease of leaving your babies to go to work in an environment they're excited to be in and with extended love for their teachers. My son has been going here for almost a year in the infant room!! The staff and curriculums have always been great and I feel like my son is really learning a lot and is so happy there! I want to particularly commend one of your stuff members in that is Ms Rachel! Rachel is such a joy I feel like I can totally trust her and I see the love and care she puts into each and every kid! My son 2 and daughter 1 have been going to this school for about 6 months-ish. And have been hit, bitten, bruised, and much more. I walked in my my daughters head being smashed repeatedly into the floor. November 6, 2020 my daughter came home is dried crusted poop in her shirt and shorts. She had poop flaking off her skin and smeared poop on her legs. That same week another kid hit my son in the mouth with a rock and busted my lip open. I dint even get a call or report about this. I had to go figure out what happened from 3 other teachers. There are so many more issues, I suggest if you child can't go potty by themselves or fight back this is not the school for you. They do not do a good job and making sure the poop is gone or your child will not be bitten AGAIN by the same kid. They don't watch the children enough to minimize the damage. My daughter came home about 3 weeks ago with a bite mark so bad on her BACK. That I could take a mold of the teeth and create dental records. And then it happened again a day later. Communication is another huge issue. When something happens they just say sometimes this happens. And that's it.. like sorry you kid is hurt again but we gave him or her ice and well they re better so... I'm am just sorry that I didn't take my babies out of here sooner. This is something I will have to live with. Because now my daughter has a horrible rash on her bottom and her V is so red she must have been sitting in poop all day. And my son is going to have a scar where his mouth was busted with a rock. I didn't realize how bad it was until it began healing and well... it just sucks when you trust your children's care and safety in the hands of another and they fail you. My daughter has been going here for about 6 months and was attending in the change of ownership. The staff at Creme de la Creme has been amazing with my daughter and she looks forward to going each day. Even with the change and adjustment due to the Covid-19 the staff has been great and works with families. Today, I decided to go in for a tour interested in enrolling my kids. As soon as we walk in we witnessed a teacher in a classroom throwing her kids around by the arms. A little girl was playing with toys on the floor and she grabbed her by her arm and through her to the line. Another was throwing a little bit of a tantrum not wanting to get in line and the teacher was throwing her around like a rag doll and yelling at her. These kids looked terrified of her. She was a white teacher with short red hair. We immediately made our decision just based off watching that encounter.Regardless of what a child is doing this is not how you deal with negative behavior. I made the director aware and all she said was "that's unacceptable and we'll investigate that later". Ma'am a staff member is throwing a child around and you don't see any need for urgency? Looking at this school was an eye opener. No matter how much you pay, the care is still the same. A place can claim to be so great and offer these amazing things but, you will see first hand the "care" that's offered (so take a tour before choosing this place). I was looking at the infants room for my son, and while standing in front of the class the teachers were just standing around talking. One of the teachers wiped a possible 3month old child's face what looked very aggressive from my view. Not to mention the other 6 babies in their cribs, some standing because they clearly want out. You gotta ask yourself how those babies will hit milestones being trapped in the crib. Although the daycare is very aesthetically pleasing, there was a lack of care for some children. With most daycares you can just assume this would happen but here being a montessori school I expected something different. The size of the room could not fit 11 babies safely. (Makes sense now why over half of them were in cribs). While leaving the tour I felt pressured to put a down payment to hold a spot and I got a bad feeling in my stomach when a "teacher" of older children with blue hair and glasses started yelling at the children. Kids can be a handful I do agree but these children were standing in line and she yelled like she was a drill Sargent with an inside voice. Children going to a school like this should be happy and feel well taken care of. Here I felt like my son would not be offered the same amount of care here he currently is getting. If you take your child here just know this school is not any better then sunrise or tutor time. Still the same fake staff members, and same care for all children. Very unfortunate because I wanted to like this school.. too many things made me feel sick and gave me a bad feeling. Won't be bringing my son here. read more
