They tried to charge me additional shipping cost ($75) that was never discussed when I paid for the $3,000 dress. Then when I was trying to arrange the delivery, I left 3 unreturned voicemails before they texted me saying they were going to charge me a "storage fee" for not collecting the dress. I attended a wedding dress appointment with my sister in which we ended up buying a wedding dress…read moreand a veil. Positives: A great selection and a comfortable lounge room. Negatives: For the appointment, it cost $35 for the to try the dresses on which we thought was reasonable given the time and attention given during the appointment. However during check out we were surprised that the sales person assisting us asked for a tip in the hundreds of dollars range! This really surprised us as we used our budget on the dress and veil and did not account for a tip. At no point during making the appointment were we warned that a tip would be asked for. After we were not able to afford a tip the sales lady was visibly upset and did not even offer a garment bag for the expensive wedding dress we bought. Although we are excited about the dress it was a strange customer service experience. I think if a tip is expected customers should be warned so that they can budget for this. Additional negatives were we not offered water during the appointment which I think would have been nice touch (especially if a tip is expected!). Also the sales lady pressured my sister into writing a positive google review before we could leave the appointment which left it as a weird experience for me.
