Worst customer service I have ever been apart of. They did our patio covering and finished Oct 2020. Put the down spout in the wrong place I asked. Instead of capping the wrong one they just put another one where I originally wanted. Now I have two. One puddles in the patio. The other I wanted works fine. We soon had a leak and they came and caulked it. Soon after It leaked again. I asked if they'd put flashing and make sure it didn't leak. Yes Chris said it won't leak. I asked when they installed if they'd put flashing and Chris said yes. They did not. No rain for a long time and as soon as the next big rain it. Another leak .Someone new responded Not the owner we've dealt with, a knew guy Brian. We are on a waiting list? What? A waiting list on repairs you've Installed? I wouldn't recommend CS. Once they get your money your forgotten!, Terrible customer relations! Request fix in July it's now almost January. Don't use them. It's supposed to rain tomorrow. Leak video to come. read more

We chose CS Patios because of the reviews AND pricing that was MUCH more reasonable than the competition. Moreover, the competitor's bid didn't include the insulated panels that Chris recommended to help keep the area cooler. The finished product is spectacular and will make our patio an oasis on even the hottest Colorado Desert (Palm Springs area) days. The pillars are directly opposite the existing ones for our home and are a lovely contrasting shade. As you can see, there are barely noticeable drains that ensure no water will run back to the roof on even the rainiest days. The "ceiling" created by the insulated panels has LED lights and two outdoor-rated, modern-look fans; Chris's team replaced the existing lights and fans on the old cover structure to match, and coded two remotes to two fans each. (We chose one front, one back for each pair, but of course you could pair the fans on the old structure together, then those on the new, or even code a remote for each.) One suggestion: if your neighborhood/City requires the structure to pass City inspection, agree up front that you'll withhold part of the final payment (substantial enough to ensure you aren't waiting months for the fix if it doesn't pass, but not so much that CS has to sweat; we did around $1k). It caused a bit of friction because CS considered the project complete when they'd finished the work, whereas we didn't consider it complete until the City signed off. Chris did see our reasoning, though, and it turned out there wasn't a single worry. (It only took the City Inspector about 5 minutes to bless it!) The only other tiny detail is there are bits of plastic wrap trapped between the panels of one pillar, which will require us to get on a ladder with tweezers to remove; I wish this wasn't necessary. BUT we VERY highly recommend them, especially because Tony's crew cleaned up every last bit of debris - so our patio is 100% ready for relaxation! Don't even bother with anyone else. read more

This company replaced our retractable canopy and fixed canopy at our home in Palm Springs. Initially, we were not pleased with their work. There were many sloppy edges and uneven, jagged cuts. After complaining, the owner of the company personally paid us a visit and agreed, the work was not as good as it should have been. The crew came back a few weeks later, added trim, smoothed out the wrinkles and made it all look PERFECT. I can't give them an excellent rating because it wasn't completed right the first time, but I would say we are very satisified with the end result. Used CS patio for an awning and sail and was very disappointed in a lot of the interactions and ways the owners dealt with problems we ran into. There were a lot of miscommunications and I felt that when there were problems and I communicated those, the owner made me feel that it was my fault. For example, I could not open my door because the awning was installed too low and when I called them to come raise it, I was told that this was not a design flaw and I should have told them what my preference of height was. I told them my preference was to be able to open my door... One of the owners also wanted to charge me for them to come fix their problem. I would not comfortably refer them. read more

I had sought several bids from various general contractors for a 49' solid and lattice patio cover, and Chris Angulo's quote was the fairest plus the fact that you are speaking to the owner, not a second party general contractor that usually uncharges and then sub-contracts the work out to another vendor. Chris came out and drew up the plans so I could submit to my HOA for approval and took care of the permits, etc. His team worked hard and completed the job in three days (working around the rain and weather). Chris installed a ceiling fan, three electrical outlets, and two pot lights along with a 20' solid insulated central patio cover and 29' of two side adjoining lattice covers. We had one glitch that came up, but Chris reacted quickly to resolve the issue and finished within the expected job timetable! Chris being the owner takes pride in his workmanship and strives to please the homeowner. I highly recommend contacting CS Patio Covers if you are in the market for a Patio Cover, plus his team can also perform other services if needed.
