The owner of the company is rigid and not customer oriented; he would much rather collect an extra 10 percent than make a life-long loyal customer. Just realized I never posted a review! But Valley Patios will always be our go to. We purchased a shade for our outside windows - minimally 30' wide, powered by remote . Valley Patios installed in 2017, we just had the windows replaced & we were required to remove the shade prior to installation of the new windows. Tami, our consultant stepped right up & agreed they could remove & replace the shade! We asked for the shade to be serviced upon replacement & all was completed without a hitch! First call to Tami set the tone for the whole experience...she was so helpful in helping us figure out what we even wanted for our front courtyard. After indulging our million questions, we settled on Alumawood as the right solution for us, and at a reasonable price. Matt came out and spent more than an hour with us to lay it out and design it right down to the details. Once we placed the order, they worked with us to get the HOA approval and the City permits too. They even worked with us to coordinate the delivery and installation with our travel schedule so we could be there for the installation. The install crew did a great job of mocking up some options for us to decide final design details on the spot, which was wonderful. We never felt pressured to accept anything we weren't sure that we loved. The installation crew was awesome, doing an incredible job to get it done right, and cleaning up everything better than it was before. The electrical crew came the next day to install the fan, and voila...we had a gorgeous new outdoor room! We couldn't be happier with the finished product, the price we paid, and the quality people we dealt with at every step along the way. Valley Patios did an amazing job on our 4K pergola. Our patio was so hot, all it did was hold in the heat. I was hotter under there than outside in the afternoons and we needed to get some shade. They helped us design what we wanted/needed for our yard. They added power for a ceiling fan, and we're adding the shades that they offer as well. It will drop the temperature on our patio probably another 20°. They were super fast and efficient. If you have patio needs at all, don't fret calling Valley Patios. They're awesome! From our first contact on site with Tami, thru the development of the design and project coordination with Edward, to resolving the technical details with Andy, and finally with the excellent craftsmanship of Marco, Sergio, and Luis who put it all together, we could not be more pleased with the finished product. The detailed craftsmanship is first quality. We are in the architectural and interior design business and have dealt with a lot of contractors, and these guys were definitely a pleasure to work with. We custom designed a pergola over our existing raised patio overlooking the golf course in South Palm Springs, so we were definitely more "hands on" than their regular consumer. Our every request for custom details was met with "we'll figure out how to make that happen", and they did!! Everyone who sees this "Mies van der Rohe" looking structure says it fits beautifully with our mid-century house, and we agree. We effectively added another room to the house. The Equinox movable louvered roof opens and closes perfectly allowing us to adjust the sunlight or capture the heat from the fire pit when closed. It is water-tight and the gutter system carries away all the rain water. We designed and Sergio installed a custom LED cove lighting system in the gutter that creates a warm glow over the space at night. It has only been completed a few weeks and we have already entertained there extensively. We will definitely use this company for our future clients and recommend them to everyone without hesitation. He had his laptop and during his first visit, he gave us a rough estimate, He explained clearly the process, the material that will be used. I had a short time to do this project, but Joe was able to arrange it and it was done withing two weeks, where as other compnaies I had contacted told me I had to wait two months.
