Amazing! I love going to this place because it is so classic. On my last review of this place I said the bathrooms were dirty but they have cleaned them up really well. We ordered our food and the waitress was back with our food in about 5 minutes, and the restaurant was packed. This place has done a lot better from the last time I was here so I highly recommend it. read more

I thought about trying the local waffle place... Well if you want instant diarrhea after eating the french toast- be their guest!! The workers didn't say you're welcome when I said "thank you" to everything done for me or given to me. One worker, probably close to 65 years of age? Was open about how she was going to walk out yesterday and just might today. They all act like their hostages who are there because for whatever reason, they feel they have no choice. Support local... But Skip here and go to waffle house instead. read more

On our way through town, we ended up at C's Waffles Family Restaurant after accidentally passing our first choice. Onward we went and I'm certainly glad we did. It's not so often on the road that one is lucky enough to discover a meal stop that one looks forward to making, but C's Waffles is certainly one of those. Clean and inviting inside, everyone we interacted with very nice and helpful. The menu is voluminous in scope but concise in description, enough so to limit it's vast holdings to a single side of a large laminated placard. One side is the all-day breakfast menu and the opposing is the equally vast lunch and dinner offerings. Simply for expediency, I limited my explorations to the breakfast side. Of course, they offer a variety of waffles and waffle-inclusive dishes but they also have a diverse selection of classic breakfast items and new-to-me items like the Southern Mess. I went with the similarly themed Southern Pile, which is two biscuits with two sausages and two eggs (got mine scrambled) covered with sausage gravy. It comes with hash browns that you may alter to your hearts content. The food was great, the biscuits were quite good and the gravy was nicely flavored. I left little on my plate, and my dining companions plates told a similar story. I look forward to coming back, if for no other reason to get a glimpse of their lunch and dinner menu. Although it will be hard to resist getting that Southern Mess. Great food, nice people, cheap prices. Why are you not here already? read more

This is my favorite place for breakfast within 30 miles. They have a large variety of omelettes and scrambled from your normal ham and cheese to my personal favorite California scramble. I've eaten here dozens of times and the service is always acceptable considering it's a small place that gets pretty busy sometimes. And I've always been 100% satisfied with the food, and that's what keeps me coming back despite having other places closer. If your a breakfast person check this place out!! read more

Came back. On a Sunday. Place was busy out the door literally. Ordered my food to go. The cook had the insight to not put my condiments on my waffle as it would have obviously made it mushy. That was really heads up of them. The food was very good. I can see why it was so busy. read more

Enjoyed our breakfast here today. Service was excellent. Friendly, efficent, and helpful. Most if the food was good. Thinking the waffles would have been the best choice. My mother loved them. I absolutely adore this place. The prices are incredibly low, food is always tasty, and service is great. As an annoying vegan, I always feel obligated to apologize before I order at non-vegan spots...I usually have to make roughly 583 substitutions...but they are always so great about it here. The pancakes arrived much larger than I was told it would be. The sealed butter pats were actually margarine type ( should have put the readers on and looked but I thought it wouldn't be a concern) and the over easy eggs were half perfect. One egg ok - the other egg overcooked with a dry middle - how did that happen ? The links we're almost burned on one side and uncooked on the other. Ate one egg & 1/2 link & 1 bite of mattress dry pancake. Not a totally bad deal but hurry cooked food in a half capacity filled local diner ? No offense but next time it's Bob Evans down the street. Waitress heard my concerns and didn't offer to adjust the bill so I politely suggested it. She did. If you go there be specific and speak up if it's not right . read more

I'm never disappointed when we come here, and after our experience at the new diner, I still stand by that this is the best place for breakfast in town. The service was fast and friendly, their eggs Benedict used actual ham instead of deli meat like the diner did. I will always keep coming back here. read more
