This was the first time I've been to a Waffle House in probably over 15 years. The food came out quickly and our waitress was very sweet. I got the All Star Breakfast. The waffles were the best thing for sure, and I liked how you could smell them cooking. My eggs were a little over cooked for being poached, but not terrible. Hash browns were crispy. My hubby got the chicken and waffle special and was surprised when the chicken was just a grilled breast. Our waitress didn't ask what kind of toast I wanted and I got default white, or I probably would have gotten a biscuit or the raisin bread. I saw someone else with the raisin when we were leaving and it looked good. Prices are a little high for basic chain breakfast food, but I would go back for the waffles. The all star breakfast for $8 is the best value because you get a little bit of everything. Also, our waffles came out first, and I forgot to get a pic of the rest of the food.

When you run out of options on where to go eat in the middle of the night waffle house is always there for you. Prices are super cheap and food is prepared very quickly. Are usually like to order the hashbrowns well done with cheese and to Sunnyside up eggs. For waffles the chocolate chip waffles are very good batter taste something like cake batter which is a good thing. Only complaint I would have about a waffle house locations is the quality of the coffee it's not the best but when everywhere else is closed it gets the job done

Stopped in here many times in the past (prob 5x) Very sweet chef Don't know his name but it was 1am on May 29,2018 On our way back from my trip back home in nyc for the weekend. I was very unsure of what I wanted to eat because whenever I go to waffle house I always get the triple hash with mushrooms ,grilled jalapeño peppers topped w/two eggs over medium. Well this time I kinda wanted the same thing but I wanted to try their T-bone steak! so I ordered a T-bone steak with a side of double hash and I must say he did a great job he was very understanding of me being so on decisive and he was patient, made sure to ask if he made it OK to my likeness etc. This is the only Waffle House in Ohio-PA line area and so when I get home I knew I wouldn't be able to go to waffle house for a while so I definitely enjoyed this.

I have heard so many stories and glowing reviews about this place by BF I feel like I had already eaten here when we first walked in. But no, this was my first time - I was a Waffle House virgin. He was so excited to find a Waffle House here in Ohio he whipped the car off the highway and almost drove over the median when he realized he might miss the turn. He grabbed my arm and pulled at my sleeve like a little kid, all the while hopping up and down and doing a sing-song like mantra: waffle house, Waffle House, WAFFLE! HOUSE! The waitresses were very friendly and hollered out "hello" as we walked in. Once inside, a slack-jawed, misty-eyed stare was all he could muster up as we took a seat. The coffee we ordered came in mugs emblazoned with the WH logo, which meant BF would, for the next half-hour, have this turmoil rage inside of him over whether it was wrong to steal from the place he loved so, so much, or if he should try to buy one. He ordered the omelet and hashbrowns, which are offered in this myriad of ways, all with strange labels such as "smothered" "covered" and "capped". You can hear the ladies calling these orders out like auctioneers at a country fair. I ended up with scrambled eggs, grits and toast. All of which were just....OK. Of course I could never say this to BF, who asked me how I liked the place with all the enthusiasm and puppy dog eyes of a small child asking to be critiqued on his artwork. So naturally I had to say I loved it. But an extra star for our waitress, who asked if we wanted a complimentary cup of coffee to go, and then proceeded to hook us up with a massive cup each. That was really cool. All in all, I guess I could have done a lot worse for a breakfast for two that cost all of $15. Viva la Waffle House!

Who doesn't fondly remember Waffle House? It is cheap, fast and (relatively) good. Nostalgia makes a good seasoning.

I was in town for a golf outing at Yankee Run and was looking for a place to have dinner. I looked…read moreup Eagle Grille and Tavern, and thought it would be good. It's a nice venue - there's an outdoor patio section, where I chose to sit, as it was nice outside. The main seating area in the restaurant was being used for a special event. However, there was an additional part of the restaurant, with the bar, that was open to the patio. I saw two items on the menu - in the appetizer section - that I became excited about. The first was Wedding Soup. It's a favorite of mine! My son-in-law's mother makes a great wedding soup. The second was the Meatballs with Ricotta. I almost always order meatballs if they're on the menu. I did mention to the server I would like both the soup and the meatballs hot (temperature). The soup came first - my eyes opened wide seeing all the orzo pasta, escarole, little meatballs and chicken - I couldn't wait to taste it! My spoonful was met with the strongest taste of sodium I've had in soup! I was shocked - somewhat in disbelief. I tried it again hoping it wouldn't be as salty as I thought it was. Again, such a strong taste of salt. I felt so disappointed - I was so looking forward to that soup. I had to send it back. Next up, the meatballs. The meatballs were served on a little, rectangular plate. The marinara was on the bottom and the ricotta was on the top. I tried my first bite - cold, hard and chewy. The ricotta, was cold, and completely made the meatballs (which weren't that hot) cold as well. The marinara - see attached picture - was thinly spread on the bottom, and wasn't hot. I was curious about why it was chewy and not really tender. I sliced one in half, and saw it was slightly raw in the middle. My first bite was my last bite. I was now hoping the entree would be good, as the 2 appetizers were not. I ordered the Beer Batter Fried Cod with Onion Rings. Growing up in adjoining Liberty (Youngstown) we would go to Redi-Fry on the Northside every Friday for Fried Cod or Haddock. It was always fresh and delicious! I make my own fried fish using mostly cod. The cod and onion rings came and looked very appetizing! They were. The cod was a good size and full of fresh, tender fish. The beer batter fried coating was perfect - however - there was a little too much grease left from the fry. I worked with deep fryers (KFC) and know if the temperature of the oil is high enough, the oil will not soak into the crust. The fish was, nonetheless, very good. The onion rings were also tasty - a similar coating - which was near perfect, as it was not as oily as the fish. While the appetizers made for a 'rough start', the entree provided a 'smooth ending' to the dinner! I do want to make special mention of my server. She was EXCELLENT!! What a pleasure to have such great, friendly service!!

The menu is big, with all the Italian pasta, veal and chicken favorites you could want, but also with an extensive seafood menu, steaks, chops and salads. Station Square is apparently a Youngstown institution as it was celebrating 40 years! The restaurant is incongruously attached to a Super 8 motel, but don't let that throw you. This place is big, but it is well run. The staff is friendly. I sat down and my server appeared promptly and my food came out quickly, even on a busy Friday night. I had the salad of tomatoes and peppers, which is exactly what it was with a little oil and vinegar. Nothing fancy, but good. I had the chicken Parmesan with angel hair pasta. Very good. I finished with a blueberry cheesecake, which was excellent. I also enjoyed a professionally made old fashioned. It all worked for me!
