CSE Medical Transport is without a doubt the best Non-Emergency Medical Transport service in Bakersfield and my guess is probably within the state. Two years ago my life was changed dramatically by a medical malpractice issue and I went from total independence to now being completely dependent to get to get to the many medical doctor appointments I am now free we're to dependent on MEDICAL TRANSPORT companies for all of my doctor appointments which in the last two years have become many. My insurance covers MEDICAL TRANSPORT to and from doctors and dental appointments, but in the first year and a half, only two appointments did I arrive on time. L I realize I'm not the easiest transport. I need a Bariatric wheelchair lift I require Portable oxygen machine that in reality are not very portable. Each time my insurance will arrange for transportation. Everything from the wrong size vehicle would arrive. They could not compensate for my wheelchair which I need to sit in during transport. I had one company arrive at 7:30 AM when my appointment was for 2 PM when I tried to arrange for them to come back later in the day that was impossible because they were already booked other issues I've had were transport not arriving at all with no phone call, arriving right at the time of the appointment with maybe two or three other patients that are to be dropped off before I am, which would land me at my doctors office up to one and a half to two hours late at which time my appointment had been canceled. Since I found them through my daughter, Beverly, I have used them at least 5 times and not one thing has gone wrong. CSE has made me feel confident I can make a dr appointment and actually not be stressed about needing to cancel because of inability to perform the transport. They are perfect and SHOUT OUT to Felix who has been on 3 of my transports and has made them seem less and actually enjoyable. *Update* They will message you when they don't like their review and now my Mom is on their no transport list but this was an honest review with our experience. Bad experience. My mother was in the hospital and is unable to move or speak currently and has been discharged to home care. We were told this service transport her in a gurney and move her from there to her hospital bed. Once she arrived they said they don't do that and left her on my couch while I waited for the fire department to come and help us move her. Unfortunately they said it's common with transport companies and they get these calls often. So I paid $150 for them to bring her home and leave her on the couch I really don't think that's the service I paid for. read more

I cannot speak to why the Nursing Facility (Kern River Transitional Facility) did not call you to complain, but I called both your company and the facility to voice my complaints, so you should have been aware. Regarding your comment about "missing the appointment," due to the seriousness of her illness and because transporting a patient with her condition is difficult, both doctors (a neurologist the first time your company was late and a hematologist the second time) worked her in, but she had a much longer wait! Let me tell you about CSE. My girlfriend is on dialysis, I had to rush her to the emergency room a few days ago because she had a few complications with her catheter so she had to spend the night at the hospital. The next day I wasn't able to pick her cause due to busy day at work, I had no one avaliable to go pick her up, a friend of mine told me about CSE Medical Transportation, it was highly recommended and the best one to trust. I called their dispatch and a van was sent to the hospital within 20 minutes to pick up my girlfriend and taken right to my house safe and sound. Well we got a ride from the hospital to the point they took her by wheelchair and charged by Gurnee the lady on the phone never asked if I wanted a gurney upon calling her back she informed me she would refund me I have called the last two weeks and still have not received the $75 refund she also is rude and hung up on me I really think the news needs to get involved and shine a light on what this company is doing probably two more seniors than what they did to mine read more

This company picked up my mother from Mercy Truxton to transfer her to Bakersfield Rehabilitation Hospital. They had the name of the facility and their address. They dropped her off at a dirty skilled nursing facility. We couldn't find my mom for 2 hours. When we called to speak to the supervisor, the lady who answered the phone said she was the supervisor. She was so unprofessional. All she kept saying she was sorry and she would send someone to pick her up. We told her don't bother. She lied and said the hospital gave her the wrong address. You could barely hear her because there were multiple dogs barking in the background. My mom was on oxygen and the wrong facility wouldn't let us take their tank. My sister drove fast as the facility was only 3 miles away. I give them a 0. If you use this company, you had better follow them so they get to where they are suppose to go.
