Two years ago my life was changed dramatically by a medical malpractice issue and I went from total independence to now being completely dependent to get to get to the many medical doctor appointments I am now free we're to dependent on MEDICAL TRANSPORT companies for all of my doctor appointments which in the last two years have become many. My insurance covers MEDICAL TRANSPORT to and from doctors and dental appointments, but in the first year and a half, only two appointments did I arrive on time. L I realize I'm not the easiest transport. I need a Bariatric wheelchair lift I require Portable oxygen machine that in reality are not very portable. Each time my insurance will arrange for transportation. Everything from the wrong size vehicle would arrive. They could not compensate for my wheelchair which I need to sit in during transport. I had one company arrive at 7:30 AM when my appointment was for 2 PM when I tried to arrange for them to come back later in the day that was impossible because they were already booked other issues I've had were transport not arriving at all with no phone call, arriving right at the time of the appointment with maybe two or three other patients that are to be dropped off before I am, which would land me at my doctors office up to one and a half to two hours late at which time my appointment had been canceled. Since I found them through my daughter, Beverly, I have used them at least 5 times and not one thing has gone wrong. CSE has made me feel confident I can make a dr appointment and actually not be stressed about needing to cancel because of inability to perform the transport. They are perfect and SHOUT OUT to Felix who has been on 3 of my transports and has made them seem less and actually enjoyable. He is an asset to the company and I hope he is given recognition for his expertise and great representation of the company

The two young men who arrived promptly, Jack and Jake, immediately took care of me. Jake noticed I was nervous and nicely urged me to stay calm. He continued to calm me and we chatted and laughed together as Jack drove all the way to Memorial Hospital on Nimbus across town. Both men were so nice to me and stayed with me until the ER staff took over my care. I did indeed have a serious Nstemi heart attack but I credit those two men for keeping me calm through the whole process. God bless you both! Fern

This Hospital does not follow state protocols for reviewing patients who have been involved in…read moreelder abuse by family members. The doctor should have cleared the room of all family members and ask the patient specific questions regarding cognitive and memory conditions. But no, this doctor asked the patient while the abusive family member was standing right on top of them these questions. The patient feeling threatened of abandonment from specific family members coward to their specific direction and we're unable to speak freely being confronted by the abusive family member. The family member who held power of attorney then threatened the doctor, nurses and other hospital staff. No report of elder abuse which could be construed as being a loving family member and protocols were thrown out the window. The family member who held the power of attorney documents over the hospital and NOT conservator ship then bullied Hospital staff not to give other family members life-threatening information, causing irreparable damage to the patient who was already in a Fraele medical condition. Shame on San Joaquin Hospital for not reading between the lines of what is not a loving family member but a abusive, iron fist controlling individual. God will judge those involved. This heartfelt message has been written by a family member in what I feel is the issue that needs to be addressed with a parent who cannot cope with overbearing family members. God will address this.
