My daughter in law has gone 4 times. First time great last 3 times every time they saw there's another reason they can't do it! This ridiculous today it was her temperature was too low. Definitely have seen a massive shift in the quality of service and the attitudes of the staff within the last 9 months or so. Apparently when new leadership took over it took a bit of time to crack down on some of the bad eggs but when I tell you the difference is night and day now, I mean it. I stopped coming here around October of last year, right before a major surgery and only started getting back into coming back for $ on the side this past March. All the people working here who I remember being rude are gone. The staff who were hired in their place are much nicer and more professional. The wait times are much shorter and the entire place seems more professional and better run. I have been going to the Glen Burnie, Md Location since June 2024. It's had its ups and downs but I think it's truly had way more Downs visiting the clinic than its UPS! Firstly, walking into the center especially when either moderately busy or busy people are rowdy, some very rude, remarks people make are terrible and even a few employees have terrible attitudes. The Lack of staff on the donation floor is a HUGE problem and most not even being certified from what is told, Leaving very long wait times=angry donors and not really being paid quite enough. A particular manager, Renee I believe its how it's spelled, has a terrible attitude constantly! Very rude to people, never smiles at anyone but her employees. All around not great at customer service At ALL. Then they allow certain people who aren't even on wheel chairs to just sit rather than wait in line. Things are mentioned to the staff and management and absolutely nothing is done about it. The woman RAGGED at the donor who said something patiently waiting in line, when something was courteously said to her and the employees did nothing but LAUGH!! I would like to amend my last review. Most of the staff are professional, not necessarily friendly but they do their jobs and do them adequately; however, the obese, Caucasian nurse that was inflicted on me this last time made Nurse Ratchet look like Clara Barton. She was rude, officious and obnoxious. She spoke to me as if I was half brain-dead. She chided me over things that were beyond my control. For instance, she asked me if I was on any new medications. I told her yes. She went off on me. "You have to tell us these things!" "Who do I tell?" I responded. "ANYBODY!" She literally shouted at me like a prison guard. "Well, I'm telling you," was my response. When she made me lay on the table, she started pressing against my belly and sides. "Stop doing that!" She again yelled. "Doing what?" "Tensing up like that," as if I had any control over the fact that I'm ticklish. I've read other reviews about CSL Plasma and would like to join the chorus of people who condemn this woman. She has no place in a healthcare setting, or any position that deals one-on-one with the public. All of this happened just yesterday, so the events that transpired are fresh in my mind. Zero stars would still be too many, I walk in when I had filled out everything on the app prior and said that I had an appointment for 11. I was then instantly greeted with the employees all laughing at me and saying "Yeah we don't do appointments here just walk ins". Then one of them got up an decided to actually "help" me. Then she asked for 3 forms of ID (not listed online) so I go to hand her my license then she asks for my social security card. I didn't have that with me but the person next to me was not asked for any of this, he handed them an ID and they didn't ask for anything else. So they look at my ID to find an excuse to not help me since apparently this location doesn't service my zip code but apparently the location 15 minutes further away from my house does? I don't need the money badly enough to ever walk into this location ever again, all of those employees deserve to be fired. read more

A professional establishment. Very clean building, the restrooms, the lobby, and the plasma pulling stations. Service is good and the lines move fast. The staff is very knowledgeable and always ready to answer your questions. I will return to this establishment many times!! read more

Somebody needs to give the front guest check-in with Happy Pills. Not all of the ladies but more than half. Sometimes the front desk ladies get easily distracted and tends to talk too much while the patient is waiting to complete the pre-testing for donating. I have been going here only a couple months hoping things/people/attitudes would change different times of the day, or different days only to see and hear the negative talk or negative attitudes from staff. Employees seem to take their time and that takes up my time which is a slight problem for me. Yes we get paid for donating, myself I fill my tank, or take myself out for date night. On 2 occasions I was asked to go into a room where I would see a doctor. Both times these Doctors were so darn slow. As a matter of fact, I asked how long will I not be able to donate after a flu shot. He asked me to come into his office and closed the door. CLOSE the door, WHY? Because HE DID NOT KNOW, and had to look it up on the computer. This took him 6 minutes! The people who stick you are very very good! Bill Robinson Retired NIS Detective, Dept. Of The Navy I have been proactive in the fight against the CoViD19 Pandemic. I have donated blood plasma at several businesses, Biolife, OctaPharma & CSL. I started at OP. They did not meet my expectations- professionalism-wise. CSL, I had a few bad experiences - this was 5 to 6 months ago. Because of that, I ended up at Biolife. Biolife was squared away. Appointments only with a well trained professional staff. Though, Biolife was a 30 minute drive , each way. I didn't mind, they are great. Unfortunately, after donating for 4 months straight - twice weekly...I needed a break. Biolife continues to call once or twice a week to return. After a 3 week break, I thought I would give CSL another opportunity. CSL is only 10 minutes from my residence. Upon my return, the staff asked where I had been...I embellished. I had to repeat the protocol health screening and such but, it went smoothly. I have now been back at CSL for about 2 months and donating twice a week. I have had a wonderful experience, thus far. In all fairness, if I were to have any kind of issue, I would return to Biolife. The compensation at CSL is a bit less than Biolife but, as long as I remain at my current level of $47 a donation with the exceptional service... I will be staying for the duration. There has been a standout that I am compelled to mention, Ms.Chimella Ward "CeCe". CeCe is the consummate professional. She is a leader of people. CeCe is detailed and result oriented. She seems to be in the "know," about the different body types and chemistry. Great bedside manner. I know that the plasma center is not like a Jiffy Lube, so to speak. But, each individual has a different veinous structure. It can be challenging to say the least. And then, having to deal with each personality or mentality/attitude of the donors ? Boy... I noticed that CeCe is usually the "go to " person when there is an issue. She gets it done. Though, there are others like, Tabetha, Timea, Abu, Maya, Shalay & Christina. Upon entering...I'm looking for CeCe as my personal Phlebotomist. I trust them all. In fact, Christina Dews, was my phlebotomist this past Saturday. It could have been the epic donation. I would utilize their knowledge and expertise CeCe, Tabitha, & Christina- to train other Phlebotomists working for CSL Always be in the training mode - for a better experience for the clients. I come here very often and I like the staff very much they talk to u, they help u, they laugh and joke with u makes the visit better.....But THE NURSE JANET COOPER IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! She doesn't know how to talk to people, she takes the power she's given and abuses it a little manners, She'll have 3 patients waiting outside her door for at least 1hour while she's talking to the security guard or not doing anything just siting in her office .....I had come in with a 'deep cut' one time I didn't know that I couldn't donate because the cut was to deep so I had to let it heal Now Janet told me I gotta let it heal so I said ok, few weeks went by I went back down to the plasma spot Janet wasn't working this day did my screening but I had to go see the nurse because of the cut now 1 nurse said ok I'm fine it healed I can donate so I did, next day same thing but this time gotta see the nurse again idk why I get back there one of the nurses ask me why I'm here I'm like idk she looks it up it's my cut again she look at my hand see the cut is healed and check to be ok to donate again....I did that process 3 times before I figured out why I had to keep going back to see the nurse wasting my time idk how but 3 other nurses told me I was okay!!! I come in to see Janet she going tell me she kept me in there so she can see it for herself like 3 other nurses cleared me why do u gotta see it or be the one to clear me and that right there just pissed me off right there plus the long waits And the way she talks to people is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND NEGATIVE I was there last week waiting to see her and she took a whole 1hour 1/2 break then made me wait an extra 20 more mins for nothing.....But I was writing about what happened today I went into the plasma spot to donate, Janet was up front doing the screenings, she finally calls me ask me to take my shades off i took them off and put them on top of my head she like No they gotta be off u, I'm like no what u mean, she like u gotta take off your face face which I already did then we started going back and fourth which she going go tell the management I was being disrespectful and get me deferred for the day and I fill as that was unfair and disrespectful to me.....and I'm sure I'm the only person to complain about her read more

They are the absolute worst. All the staff care about is picking on the donors and provoking them. Miserable, ghetto environment. I don't need the money that badly! I made the mistake of asking where I should sit and the female blood technician refused to answer; instead she tried to stare me down like an angry bull without even answering me. Later, when I tried to let bygones be bygones and said Good Morning, she refused to answer. Then she blurts out, "name"! like she is some sort of drill sergeant. A lot of people who go to this place are desperate for cash and the staff know it. They deliberately make the experience as unpleasant as possible. I visited this facility a total of 6 times and spent a total of 10 hours there and was never able to donate. I was turned away every time for an unjustifiable reason due to discrimination. Finally turned away the final time because of my place of residence being a group home from which they could have told me this at any of my prior visits the staff member said "once you get your life together, come back with your address change and proof of lease information". Their reason being that my living in a group home makes me more susceptible to contracting Hepatitis C, which is a blood borne illness that is not even sexually transmitted! I have lived in the same group home for 2 years and for the record, I do have my life together. I am a perfect candidate for blood donation and was unjustifiably turned away for no reason as I did every single thing asked if me as ridiculous as bringing in my certified divorce judgement papers! I watched their video 4 times, saw their nurse 3 times, went through all of their examinations each and every time, they always found a new reason to turn me away that made no sense what so ever. I feel completely discriminated against seeing as though every time I visited I witnessed indigenous people and obvious drug users donating as I was being turned away.
