Every time you donate, you get blood drawn to verify your eligibility, but even if you aren't eligible, they tell you why so you know your health stats, what you work on, etc. Everyone is always very cheerful and welcoming. I admit I got more than a bit anxious causing my pulse to go up and they were very understanding, as well as helpful in tips for increasing my iron (it was a bit low, barely high enough). The donation process has been smooth every time I go in, friendly and efficient staff plugs me into the machine, if I need them I know how to get them, and I can catch up on my audio book, reading, or just mess around on my phone. Great place

It's not worth your time or them paying you pennies for your plasma. The management is the issue…read more Brian and the center manager both are terrible. They don't respect their nurses or support staff and DEFINITELY don't respect the donors. They have a few puncture professionals on the floor that are inexperienced and poorly trained. If they harm you, you have no way of making sure they don't get a chance to hurt you again, due to their policies. This policies don't work in favor of the donor. I would recommend going to any other plasma center over this place. CSL is a little unprofessional but they pay better and treat you better.

Lines are extremely long, and they stick you terribly multiple times on purpose. If you're pretty, they'll hurt you on purpose. Be safe and it's only the Black women that act that way there. They have relations with many of the male clients. Just a very weird dynamic and highly unprofessional. This was typed by a Black woman. Fire everyone and start over cause everyone there is too comfortable, unprofessional, and ignorant. One of the staff even tried to fight me one day. I can't make this up folks!

I couldn't believe it the first time it happened. The next time I came in the lights went out again. I was told that the office stays open 30 mins later than it used to and that the lights turning off was to let the staff know it was time to go. Funny thing is, the staff is ready to go way before 7, so they don't need a signal to leave. More importantly, the lights going out while people are donating is scary. Imagine a worker pulling a needle out of someone and accidentally sticking themselves. I'm just gonna leave it at that.

Once I finally realized I had aged out of going to a doctor with zoo animals on the wall, I decided…read moreto get a general practitioner. I was referred to Banks Turner's office by family. I am on the younger end of the age span of his patients so take from it what you will. The front desk woman was a bit short, as if she had dealt with an onslaught of frustrating people, but was still professional. My wait time was short for my appointment - I arrived at 1:20pm for my 1:30pm appointment with my new patient paperwork filled out. The nurse, Stephanie, was sweet and efficient. Not 45 seconds after she walked out, Dr. Turner was in the room. He's not much of a talker and I might have read him as disinterested if I didn't know better - he's anything but. He was thorough and expeditious in his physical and assessment. The phlebotomist was very nice; unfortunately, it felt like she drove a piling into my arm and then fished around for a vein before giving up and trying the other. I'm not a huge fan of needles but I can generally donate blood without much fuss - it was a pretty rough stick. As I was leaving, I spoke with Dr. Turner again and he was more animated and very comforting about my concerns. Despite negative reviews I've seen, my first impression was overall positive. The front desk and phlebotomy left something to be desired but not even close to a true issue.

I was referred…read moretwenty years ago to Dr. Turner by my late GP, a doctor whose 50 years of service was honored by the General Assembly in House Joint Resolution No. 318, and I have only wonderful things to say about him and his staff. He is friendly and efficient, and I've witnessed the patience and kindness of the receptionists as they helped an elderly lady who mistakenly came to the office on a wrong day. My husband developed severe abdominal pains, stopped by the office, and was sent immediately to the hospital. This quick action saved his life. If you need to contact Dr. Turner after hours, there is always a doctor on call to help with your issues. What more can you want in a GP?
