I thought I should also add this location on Yelp for future pool seekers. I can only review on the lap swimming pool since that was what we were there for. When we initially stopped by to gather more information, the girl at the desk didn't know much details about the swimming atmosphere. We returned a few days later and talked to one of the lifeguards there and she was able to give us more details about the hours, pricing, availability, and crowdedness. You enter the pool, and apparently the gym and rec center, through the locker rooms, which are separated for men and women, which is nice. The locker rooms are big enough to change and store your stuff. They also have lockers outside by the pool. The L-shaped pool is very large. It is divided so there are four lanes for lap swimming and a general area for other swimming purposes. Bleachers, a sunning area, and lounge chairs are available for spectators and guests. Plenty of seating area, which is nice. The pool is indoors, but one of the wall is "open" so it feels like an outdoor pool with concrete covering. Quite nice, actually. You have to call and ask for pricing since I believe it might be seasonal. Plenty of parking. The rec center itself is much larger than what we expected from the outside.

We appreciated that the front desk staff told us we could pay month to month without needing to keep our credit card on file for automatic withdrawals. So we decided to pay for the first three months in advance, but when we went to pay for the next few months in advance again, we were informed that we now had to put our credit card on file. I asked to speak with the manager, who explained that this policy change was due to members not paying their monthly fees while continuing to work out. My concern is why the receptionist didn't stop those members when they scanned in or call them to inform them that they could not continue using the gym if their membership fees were unpaid. Unfortunately, the actions of those members have negatively impacted us who are willing to pay in advance. Sadly we had to cancel our membership since we don't like keeping our credit card on file especially a gym.

When registering they had her make an appointment with a fitness manager. We assumed this was just a casual introduction with rules, regulations, answer your questions, ect. ect. Nope, this is when they give you the hard sell to spend more money and hire a personal trainer. I felt like I was at a used car dealership. Wow, you can knock off the enrollment fee?! You mean I don't have to pay for having to pay you! What a deal! Once you decline their interest level in you drops to almost zero. This meeting was a waste of time so if they make you an appointment when you register, just decline if you are not looking for a personal trainer.

After 24h increased the rate on my monthly membership I spoke with Ratib and Chuk about switching over to the $500 for two years Platinum membership, and they were able to cancel my old plan and switch me over very quickly- effectively cutting my gym membership payment in half! :) They were so polite, efficient and helpful. I highly recommend this location. My only complaint is that the outer thigh machine has been broken for weeks, and since that's one of the most popular pieces of equipment and the only one, it's pretty disappointing that they can't repair equipment faster.

I was considering joining this gym but I will no longer be considering it as an option now or in the future until management has a look into who they choose to represent their company. I will not be recommending this gym to anyone I know. Don't get me started on the uncleanliness of the facility... 2 words, UNKEPT and DIRTY. The machines are dirty and a lot of them don't work. The bathrooms are disgusting. The trash cans are overflowing with trash The hand sanitizer stations and disinfectant spray bottles are not refilled. The pool area is hot and muggy. The pool floor is just plain dirty you gotta wear shower shoes walking in there so you don't catch foot fungus or warts and the air conditioning in there is just terrible I wouldn't be surprised if there was mold brewing in there. The people running this facility also seem unsure of their role as they have no clue how to answer your questions or needs and they always have lines out the door just to scan into the building. Overall, this facility makes PLANET FITNESS LOOK LIKE A 5 STAR RESORT.
