I specifically asked if it would all fit and if they would make multiple trips. I was quoted a price for six hours including tax. They did bring most of the large, heavy stuff but took NONE of the boxes. Now I am left to empty half of a 10x25 unit in MANY trips in my car. Not only that, but one of the movers spent a lot of time trying to get out a splinter (using tweezers that I offered) and using the bathroom and the other guy stood around waiting for him. This caused me to be charged for an extra hour. I'm grateful for what they did, but it wasn't as much as I was expecting. I'm older and on a limited budget so I went with the lower priced option because she said they would handle it, but they didn't and now my arthritic knees and back are paying for it.

He kept asking me to change our pickup day and time. Each time I told him I couldn't change my plans. He could have simply told me it didn't work for them, but each time he'd say OK and I would confirm the day, time, and location of pickup at the end of the conversation. Then the next day he'd ask me to change it up again. When the day finally arrived, he texted me at 6:45 am and told me they were going to be almost 3 hours earlier than the scheduled time. Again, at no point did he disclose there was a pickup window. He had confirmed our appointment on multiple occasions. It almost ruined the whole process because we were picking up our item from friends, so I couldn't just randomly change the plan with no notice. Kareem was rude to me on the phone when I called him about this and said "things change". Then he billed me an invoice for our balance due before the job was done and texted me about payment. They wrapped some of the more delicate items before loading them onto the truck. They were even able to dismantle large furniture pieces that wouldn't fit through the door, and they reassembled them in the new place. A Stickley mattress and box spring was ripped and shredded. There will black and green stains on all of the corners of both the mattress and boxspring and the mattress was soiled. The owner of the company offered to replace the mattress with a $400 mattress though we were expected to pay for half of it. Our century sofa was also ripped and our headboard and furniture was all dented, discolored and scratched. If that weren't enough, 2 glass table tops were missing. When one finally showed up weeks later they decided they would make another glass top since they couldn't locate our original one. As we continue to unpack, more items are missing and the new mattress and box spring cost us over $1,100. This, coupled with the damage and the aggravation, doesn't even begin to describe our horrible experience with this so called moving company. We hired 2 Bros to load a storage trailer getting hauled to California…read more The good: - easy to communicate with over Yelp - brought straps (that we could buy off them) to secure the contents in the trailer - saved us $$ by packing the trailer tightly (2 feet less space than expected) The not great: - they wrapped only one piece of our couch in saran wrap, which protected the piece, but our other couch sections and bed were dirty from the inside of the trailer - CA side, many of our boxes marked as "fragile" were slightly caved in because there were many levels of boxes loaded on top of them. I'm thankful that nothing is broken, but it was tense seeing so many boxes with bent sides on the other end of the move
