A small Ctown but it's in a good location. It's like an oversized bodega so the selection is limited but you can generally find what you need in a pinch. Produce section is usually why I visit. I can usually find my ahi dulce and culantro when I need it. Visited last night and employee came around to remind us that the store was closing soon-which was fine because he was really pleasant about it. This is right next to my gym so I appreciate that I can walk over - grab what I need and head home. Come check it out if you haven't already. read more

C town is a small supermarket so of course the prices are going to be higher, but there is nothing like the deli anywhere in Bayonne. First of all, they have such a great variety, but more importantly, the woman that works there that was exactly how to cut whatever you order. They also have lots of sales in the deli section so if you get there on a sale day, you are lucky and they are better than any of the prices around and while you are at it as much as it is a little pricier than the bigger supermarkets, you can find some great deals. You just have to look around so next time you need good luncheon meat go here plus the place is spotless and everybody who works there is so nice and helpful and the produce is always very very fresh. Sometimes you have to spend a little more to get a little more. Also, they have senior day on Wednesday so if you are a senior, you get a discount. If you live in Bayonne, this doesn't have to be the place you go to for your big time shopping, but certainly is worth going to to pick up produce and luncheon meat and like I said anything that's on sale read more

So... being from NYC, I've always been wary of going to a CTown because 1. Their selection is usually limited 2. They're overpriced and 3. They are usually dirty or messy. Today's the first time I stepped into the Bayonne Ctown and I was absolutely blown away! This store was spotless, all the items were neatly stacked, and their produce selection was immense!! Being a driver and trying to maximize all shopping trips during Covid, I typically go to Costco or Shoprite because of the free parking. But today I just needed a few items quickly, and decided to try Ctown. Not only was I amazed by their available stock of cleaning/sanitizing supplies... but they had YEAST!!! I have been looking for yeast at Shoprite for the last 2+ months and was continually finding empty shelves. Now that I finally have yeast, I can join all the cool quarantine baker clubs I want! I think I'm officially a Ctown convert!! -Pricing: I found that Ctown was quite fair in their pricing in most sections. Milk/dairy is a bit more expensive, but eggs, produce, and bread were all decently priced and had good sale prices. -Parking: I luckily did not have much trouble finding parking on a side street. So thankful for the service and the fresh food at our C-Town in Bayonne New jersey. The staff the cashiers and all who work behind the deli counter are such special people it's a joy for me to skip the choas at ShopRite and in Walmart . I do all my shopping at C-Town you should too. The cleanliness of the store also makes it worth the trip. One other thing ​ c-town helped us make it through the pandemic beautifully they had everything we needed when everybody else was out of stock. Thank you to all at c-town. read more

It's OK if you need to get cold cuts or milk, but from my experience the food has a short expiration span, and some of the people that work there, are rude. Well, not to the elderly. Better off shopping for your groceries at Stop n Shop. read more

I came here since I forgot some items when I went food shopping and this was the closest place. I was impressed by how organized and clean this place was, yes its a bit on the small side but they carried most items you might need. read more

They really are very nice people working here as the manager and the girls ringing up your items are all very nice. I genuinely like the people there which is why I hate rating them two stars but the pricing is the most expensive in Bayonne so unless I need bread in a pinch I prefer to go to any other supermarket in the area. Shame because they are right down the block so I wish the items were cheaper but this is not the place for a good deal. read more

This is a great neighborhood C-Town with a friendly and helpful staff. It is.convenient and clean, and I usually can find my items and check out in a few minutes. There's a three car parking lot in the rear, with quick, constant turnover. While some items cost slightly more, their produce is fresh, quality and reasonably priced. read more

This is a regular neighborhood market. Things have improved a lot - from regular produce, to meats, to the shelving and every other area. Problem? Talk to the manager - they take 2 seconds to fix or help immediately. Best feature - you're in and out in 5 mins. read more

this used to be a favorite place to shop. ! not any more Went in on a Sunday night , about 7:30 little man came over said you have 10 minutes to shop . he was closing at 8:00pm i needed a big order so i put everything back, i needed more than 10 minutes He followed me closely,as i was leaving , heading to the door, i saw people shopping, ." i said are they leaving also " why are they still shopping ?" MY Business JUST GO OUT HE SAID. I saw a lady coming in, i said don't go in , i was just asked to leave as he is closing in 10 minutes. The little man, with the pants that covered his shoes, (needs a tailor ) ran out the door after me. MY BUSINESS MY BUSINESS YOU DO NOT SAY ANYTHING .!!!! HMM SOMETHING A MISS. I CALLED CTOWN FRANCHISE PARENT COMPANY. REGISTERED MY COMPLAINT, THEY were getting back to me. Never heard from them again. Hmm ! One of the few times I visited this supermarket two of the cashiers were rather unprofessionally having the most racist conversation I've ever heard... Do I really need to know your hateful opinions on Muslims, Black people or anyone else when I'm just trying to buy some groceries? What an experience. Your job is to help people, not offend them. Horrible, disgusting people work there. Two employees were sick, coughjng on the fruit and wiped their nose and toucjed the bread. This rude and loud woman named Natalie was cutting my deli meats and she DID NOT USE GLOVES....oh and the worst part of it was that she CONTINUED TO PLAY WITH HER HAIR AND BRUSH IT OUT OF HER FACE then touch the slicer.....ubm, excuse me? That's gross! Then I find out she is the manager? What kind of sad excuse of a store is this. Worst manager ever and she obviously trains her employees to be just as rude and nasty as she is. very friendly staff...... the girls here are always very pleasant and always smiling. It's supermarkets like this one though that have made me realize I'm moving back to nyc. When you enter ctown and head toward the meat section, your immediately hit with a smell of rotting flesh...... yuck!! I have attempted to buy salmon, but noticed that most of their fish has passed the expiration date along with many other meat items being sold under managers specials, but the prices are of that of fresh food. Brown meat with new labels to fool ya....... horrible. I will be happy to leave this place farrrrrr behind me. read more

You don't want to buy anything here - it is strong smell from dead meat for last 2 years Sometimes I'm late to ShopRite and have to buy pita. Few times I saw products with expired date on it. Dangerous! read more

I just recently visited my mom and took her food shopping here. I must say that the staff is fantastic and very helpful. As my mom is elderly and has trouble getting around as soon as we entered she was greeted by the staff and I have found that they help her get all her items. Thank you!! read more

When I can find parking,I always go in here.Produce is very decent and in expensive.They have good sales as well,Many things are overpriced.but some things are not.I don't eat meat so I cannot comment on their meat.Staff is very amazing.friendly,I saw the manager once take an elderly man's groceries to his car and pack them for him,,You don't see this too often.Good bread and deli meats read more
