Stay very far away. AWFUL service all around. Said they would get my truck, sent a tracker link and text they would arrive within the next 2 hours. Promptly cancelled when they were supposed to arrive, which mind you was planned for over a day. July 2, hot day, heavy traffic, traveling on New Circle Rd when my car transmission started acting up. It would not engage when I pressed the gas RPMs would shoot up and engine temp went hot. Managed to get off of New Circle Rd and got towing company on the phone. I spoke with Kristen she was extremely helpful. I was not sure of the name of the road l was on and told her of my surroundings and she knew exactly where I was. They got to me in a very timely manner and because I am from far west Tennessee she located a few hotels near a transmission shop where my vehicle would be taken. They don't have a flatbed they did not pick up the car or bring it back dana never created an invoice for the fist transaction receipt a contract just in case my car was damaged. Was given a number to call them to arrange things. And got no answer ever. And upon checking their website it says 24/7 service but their business hrs are the complete opposite of 24/7 so after 2hrs of waiting and receiving updates that they were close. Had to fix the back end of my car because the tow truck backed in to me while I was working on my car and had no idea I was in front of it. They said that they would fix it and make it right. When they had my car it took them 2 weeks to fix the back end and repaint it and they half assed the paint job on it and the rear bumper still had all kinds of scratches and it the truck the didn't even fix the broken plastic trunk frame. I would not recommend unless u want to risk your car getting hit by a inexperienced driver then have their mechanic half ass the repair job . All they did was fuck up me car then put a fat black piece of tape on the back end and said fixed it. CTS dispatched to my disabled vehicle by USAA. Driver called me within minutes to say he was on the way and to get a better idea of my exact situation (car cranks, won't start x 2 hours). Driver arrived minutes later and when attempting to turn the car on so it could be put in neutral and placed on the rollback he was able to start the car (to the amusement of everyone present). Dispatched by AAA, CTS called me after AAA sent out the dispatch request and told me it would be 30 minutes. After over an hour CTS never showed, I called and was told that they would then send out a driver. The person on the line gave me no explanation whatsoever as to why no one was ever sent. This was the worst place i could have ever take my car. I would not recommend this place to anyone for your car troubles. They have literally had my vehicle for over 3 weeks now. They have told me 4 or 5 different dates that it would be done and it still isn't done. I was told it was minimal damage to my vehicle but was charged $913. Got it dropped down to $650, paid that, so that i could pick my vehicle up and my passenger side back rim and tire was destroyed. They should not have even been touching that part of the car. This was a horrible experience and the rudest people I have ever met. I know it's long, but please read.. I was attending a concert, the parking lot had been shut down, so attendees were forced to park in other locations. I parked among about 12 other cars across the street, sat in my car for an hour waiting for the show to start due to rain before walking over to the show. No one noticed the small print signs hung high on the buildings behind where we all parked, that were put there by the tow company themselves. We even saw a CTS tow truck drive by twice while we were sitting there waiting and didn't think twice about it and they never stopped to tell any of the cars not to park there. They simply waited for the concert to start and then quickly and sneakily impounded all of the cars. In fact, they were down to the last car in the lot when the couple who owned the vehicle showed up, they hadn't even put chains on the car yet, but threatened to call the police on the couple if they tried to get in their car. We had expensive music equipment in our vehicle that was tossed around during their rush to get all the cars towed before the concert was over. Upon getting a ride to the tow company, the staff was very rude and passive-aggressive. They did not explain the process to me, they escalated the situation beyond repair. I was sent back to get my car and information, alone mind you, so I got in my car to move it to the front, because so many people were showing up to get there cars and I did not want to get blocked in. The clerk did not tell me not to move my car. The minute I got close to the front of the building, the woman was running at me and threatening to call the police and saying I was trying to "run her down" and there was a tow truck speeding quickly headfirst at me with bright lights on. I tried to explain that I wasn't going anywhere, my husband wasn't even in the car, but they would not let me speak. I was then surrounded by 3 men and two very large women, in my face yelling at me all at the same time and all telling me that "what I had to say didn't matter and for me to shut my mouth before they called the cops". They wouldn't even let me speak which enraged me, to be treated so rudely and like a criminal and not even let me speak. Then a friend whose car had also been towed, tried to pay the $150 fee for my vehicle being towed and because the credit card being used wasn't in the same name of the vehicle they wouldn't let him. The one staff tried to claim it was the law, and when asked to prove it, the other staff woman spoke up and said no, it's a company rule. I asked for a number to management and they directed me to an email on the wall. Anytime I tried to explain that I didn't know I wasn't supposed to bring my car up, they would cut me off and say, "I don't want to hear what you have to say, it doesn't matter", and would just keep saying that over and over like a child, never once letting me speak. They kept telling me "it's common sense that you shouldn't go get your car", when I kept trying to explain that I had never been towed before, they just kept cutting me off rudely. Pushing me to the point of yelling. I then realized I was arguing with a bunch of uneducated fools, whose career choice was to prey upon others, when the service they offer was originally formed to help others in a time of need. Instead, they waited and took advantage of the situation, when a decent person would have stopped and let all those people (from out of town) who sat there in their vehicles waiting for the show to even start, know that they were not allowed to park there for this event, even though the venues parking lot had been shut down. read more

Chris did a great job and could not have been nicer. He got the car started by cleaning the corrosion off the battery, giving me the choice as to whether I wanted to just take the chance that the problem was taken care of, which it probably was, or take it in to check it out. He made sure I got home and in the door, then, towed the car to my mechanic to check it out so I won't be stranded in the cold, if there is something else. All was particularly nice because I am old and not well. He made sure all was taken care of so I was safe and will feel safe that I will probably not be stranded, again, in the cold weather. read more

Called them sounded all fine and dandy with an hour wait for the tow truck for only $65. Hour goes by so I give them a call asking where they are. Dispatcher tells me "oh, there you are. Our driver couldn't find you and the phone number you gave kept going to voicemail so the driver dropped the job."So, literally so confused with this I ask her to call the number right now to see what she is talking about because I have 3 bars of LTE and no ring. Something wrong with their phones or something wrong with her. So she tells me she can send them out again and will be a longer wait. So, I make sure she had the address correct and they know where I am this time. 20 minutes later the driver calls and lets me know that because of where I am I am out of the county area it's going to be around $100 instead of the original $65. Like, what?!?! I made sure the address was correct and the dispatcher knew my exact location! Crazy! So, I tell the driver I'm going to call the dispatcher and ask her what's going on when she gave me a price and a time they would be here. She answers and says so yeah you are out of the county and it's going to cost more than the estimated price of $65... so 2 hours later I cancel that service and end up on my phone signing up for AAA with them on the way and making this nice review for this company. This company is in the middle of nowhere so I would give them that but come on, how many things went wrong? read more

I had to have my SUV towed back to my apartment today because my transmission went out. Something I honestly dreaded because of past experiences I've had with the local tow companies here in Lexington. I couldn't have asked for a better experience from CTS! My insurance company told me that they would be calling me 20 minutes before the tow company left to pick up my vehicle, of course they didn't call. The lady (I think Chris said her name was Melissa) at CTS called to see where I was and I explained the situation to her. She couldn't have been more understanding and sweet! Chris called me and offered to pick me up but I told him I had found a ride over there with one of my friends. He told me to take my time and that he would be waiting, that there was no rush. Once I arrived, Chris had my vehicle on the flatbed in a matter of no time! He even drove me back to my apartment. I was extremely pleased with the whole experience. I never thought I would be on Facebook reviewing a tow company but CTS left such a good impression on me, I felt that I had to. I can only hope that if my vehicle ever gets towed again, willingly or unwillingly, that CTS will be the company to do it. There's another company in town, let's just call them "BT", that I absolutely can't stand to deal with. Everyone I've dealt with at "BT" has been rude and tried to get every penny they can out of me, even when my insurance is covering the bill. CTS is the complete opposite of "BT."
