I had a window issue in my new home that I couldn't find anyone to help with. I contacted multiple contractors and different companies and it was clear my business was never important - I'd get ghosted for appointments, took months to get quotes, and more. I finally found Smart Shield and was contacted almost immediately after requesting a callback. The owner, Bryan, was so incredibly kind, thorough, and knowledgeable. He helped customize a plan for our home based on what would remedy our current situation and prevent future issues. The process to get started was easy (and very digital which earns extra bonus points in my book) and it was a few weeks until installation. The installation went great and I've never had an issue with the windows. About 4-6 weeks later, Blake contacted me and scheduled for installation. Robert and his team did an excellent job installing the windows. I had a total of 11 windows installed on the first floor of my property in Nov 2023. They completed the job in 1 and half days. It could have been done in one day but the sunset in November didn't allow. Some of the pictures of the completed job are shown below. I wanted to update my prior review of Union Roofing. The exterior of our home is mostly stone, but…read morewe had a small area of wood that was rotting. We just had our roof replaced by Union, and wanted to make sure the entire exterior was updated and structurally sound. Since we were very happy with the roof, we contacted Union, along with another contractor to get two estimates. Frank from Union gave us a price that was less than the other contractor, so it made our decision very easy. Frank also suggested we box in the porch -or cover the wood frame around the porch with new white aluminum siding. Since a crew was coming out to install such a small area, it made sense to have this small, but necessary update, completed at the same time. The price he gave me was so low, I said yes immediately. My father was a siding-window contractor for 63 years - I know the business. The installation crew was very professional and meticulous - they did a fabulous job. The Walnut colored siding looks great, as does the porch! We now know our home's exterior is protected with a roof and siding replacements from Union.
