it took me so long to finally try this Asian food restaurant in Lacey omg. idk why. I never went even though it was on my list for how long. anyway, I really enjoyed my meal here with my family. we were all surprised at how rich the takoyaki tasted. it was the best dish from our order. I like that this restaurant offers a kid-sized ramen that still offers the same ingredients as the regular-sized ramen or udon orders. I never seen that before and I appreciate the availability of this size because I like to mix my order with a main dish and an appetizer. the ramen was good for each person. My family left really satisfied and very full. I would eat here again, which I do not do with restaurants since I want to eat at as many places as I can and try new things. But, this place was too good. I like that the table set-up readily offered sauces and toppings so that we do not need to bother the staff. indeed, the homemade chili oil was "very spicy!" Spoon bit by bit into your dish instead of dumping it like I did. i also like that this place was bright enough to the point where my parents could read the menu without struggle. and, a special shoutout to our waitress, Minsun, because she made sure that we were always topped off on water. She also did a good walk-through of the menu so that we could get the most of our experience and money. Seemed to be a bit of a lunchtime rush but loved the relaxed vibe. We were seated immediately, however, there was only one waitress so there was a delay in getting our order. The food came out fairly quickly. We loved the option for noodles and broth for kids since my son is so picky but loved ramen noodles with broth. Ordered shoyu for him and the black garlic ramen for me. It was delicious! Noodles perfect texture and flavor of the broth was rich and creamy. My whole family loves Cube Ramen! The appetizers are always delicious, especially the ginger pork, fried dumplings, and soup dumplings. I like the corn ramen, my kids like the black garlic ramen, and I have one who likes that you can put spam in your ramen instead of the chashu pork. I've been to Cube multiple times now and, in an effort to get at some other menu options, I will occasionally veer away from the Black Garlic Ramen, only to return to it the next time! Sooo tasty!!
