This place has the best food in Lacey. They have a large menu which includes a great selection of sushi. I have tried several of their dishes and they always taste great. The service is excellent and it is fast. The ambiance is typical of a teriyaki restaurant. It gets busy during lunch and dinner. It also has a very busy take out service. So, it can be quite a busy environment for dinner. I will definitely be visiting them again. There are a lot of things on their menu. I would suggest looking at their menu before you arrive.

Very happy with the food and service! Stopped here for lunch while my truck was getting worked on across the street. Ordered the teriyaki and general tso lunch special combo and was sooooooooo good! Very tasty and so much food for the price! Only $11.99 with lunch specials going from 11am-230pm. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Food was great. I had the spicy Korean seafood soup. So good! And they are really nice there.

Food is always cooked just right. Chicken had the best crunch with juicy flavorful bite. Service has always been warm and friendly. Ambient lighting gating and good vibes with their music. Lots of choices on the menu. I'll be back for more.

This is our solid second teriyaki place in Lacey. Wok & Teriyaki being first. Their 3 for 33 sushi is a good deal - no its not as elevated as say trappers but again for a more budget friendly it definitely works. Plus can't beat the variety - bento boxes are great. The ramen is okay, no better or worse than Zen but definitely not as good as Cube. They only do hard boiled eggs? I've asked for gummy and they won't do it. Weird. But yeah overall your good average Teriyaki place with big menu.

Happy I found Happy Teriyaki #4, their food is good, very reasonably priced and larger portions. I've tried a few meals over a period of time, I haven't dined in yet. My first go to is their chicken Yakisoba which was delicious, great ratio of veggies & chicken, and very flavorful! Their Mongolian beef was decent as well I didn't personally care for the sauce but it was also my first time trying something like this, my friend loved it. The chicken teriyaki is very good also, I love their teriyaki sauce. They teriyaki bowl on lunch special is unbeatable for just $10 and a good portion as well. I just tried their Ichiro roll which was also fresh & delicious, I'm excited to try more of their sushi. Every interaction on the phone and at pick up with the staff has been great, they're very kind! I need to make it a point to dine in soon. This has easily become my new go to spot, I highly recommend you try it you won't be dissapointed

The dipping sauce included with the steamed gyoza was a perfect complement. The tempura prawns and tempura appetizers were accompanied with a nice sauce. The group all enjoyed the appetizers. Along with the California roll and spicy tuna combo this restaurant provides the perfect balance of wasabi and ginger. Most other places serve the smallest portions of each. The service was very good. I recommend this place and will come back!!! Came back and this time had the California and spicy tuna roll. It was delicious and again plenty of wasabi. One other person at the table had the spicy seafood noodle soup. He was warned about the heat and sure enough he was sweating profusely. Definitely HOT, but again he loved it. The last person who had asked to come back here, no demanded it, loves her Shrimp tempura roll. Glad to come back and enjoy!!

The Olympia roll was not fresh. The salmon tempura roll was poorly set up and covered in sauce. The spicy tuna handroll was just a thick paste of tuna and didn't taste like spicy tuna at all. Unfortunately, I would not recommend the sushi at this location and won't be coming back

Reviewing for just the ramen since I haven't tried anything else on their menu…read more My son and I were craving ramen a few weeks ago and we've been trying out different ramen places to compare. We're down the street from Zen and decided to give their ramen a try. Parking is easy to locate but can be a bit crowded since it's in the same lot as Dutch Bros and a couple other shops. When we first entered, we were greeted by an employee (and the Naruto statue at the front hehe). It was fairly empty when we arrived since it was on a Friday around 4ish in the afternoon. You have to pay first when you order. You'll be provided a number placard to place at a table of your choose when you dine in, and your food will be brought to you when it is ready. Drinks are also self-serve (for soda). We decided upon water cups but it's at the same station as the sodas. There is a menu at the cash register for quick ordering if you know what you want (when you walk in, it's on the left). The employee also directed us to a menu with pictures and descriptions of each item (when you walk in, it's on the right). The place definitely has Japanese vibes for the interior decor with its oaky/wooden furniture and warm lighting. Our ramen arrived shortly after we seated ourselves. We both ordered similar spicy ramen, which ended up tasting fairly good. My son really enjoyed his ramen since he liked the level of spiciness and taste of the broth (spicy enough to taste the flavors and feel the heat but not enough to hurt). He also liked that the ingredients were balanced (not an overabundance of just ramen noodles). I did enjoy my ramen as well and shared similar views. My only criticism would be that the ramen options seemed very simplistic and many ingredients were similar, so it didn't feel like much variety. My son and I actually ordered two different kinds of ramen, believe it or not, but from the photos, they look almost identical. There's also only the option of tonkatsu or shoyu broth, regular or spicy. The soft boiled egg was delicious but it would have been nice to receive a full egg instead of just half. They are generous with their chasu portions at least, with its big slices. Not as tender compared to other places I've been to, though, but still tastes good. We enjoyed our experience here though so I can at least say that it's worth trying out the ramen. Not so sure about the sushi burritos but maybe we will consider for next time.

The staff is very friendly and checks in on you throughout your meal, and the ambiance is great - fun decor and good music. The food is solid for the price, and the portion sizes fill you up. I always order the Zen Ramen with and extra egg (duh). I do with the broth were a bit creamier, but that's just my preference. And if you're looking for an appetizer, you can't go wrong with the pork buns!

From the Hawaiian word "poke" meaning "to slice, cut crosswise into pieces, as fish or wood" (see…read moreWehewehe.org, a highly recommended reference for 'Olelo Hawai'i or Native Hawaiian words), this fast food poke experience includes limited dine in seating, boba drinks, ramyun surrounded by kitchy pirate decor. Does it work? Sure. They have the most pleasant bathroom I've ever walked into with their subtle lighting. None of that florescent lighting, yay! What I really appreciate, as a mom, were all of the pirate toys for our little one to play with so we could eat. I don't think enough restaurants have figured out that little secret to welcoming families to your establishment. The poke though had a LOT going on, perhaps too much. I'm Native Hawaiian, who used to work in a fish market, and I love the taste of fish. I don't think it needs to be buried under a gagillion flavors. The sauces could definitely be toned down. The imitation crab and seaweed salad offered subtle flavors and the rice, garbanzo beans and edamame helped balance out some of the other stronger flavors but the toasted garlic and onions were too overpowering. While they do offer build-your-own bowl options, it seems the pricier options. May be easier to request things on the side. For the record, grated carrots do nothing for poke bowls other than add unnecessary texture. I'd avoid them completely.
