Called in my order. Got lunch teriyaki lunch and crab nigiri. Service was excellent from phone call to pick up. Love the decor. Teriyaki was great! Love the sauce and chicken was good. IMHO chicken could have been cooked a little less, but this is the first time ever trying it. The chicken was still great. This is now my #1 go to place for teriyaki. Most places in Lacey are disappointing, Souru is top of my list. The sushi was excellent! Absolutely recommended. I will be coming back and look forward to trying so much on the menu. Came here for some teriyaki and wasn't disappointed. From the outside it doesn't look like much because it's in a strip mall but when you come in they have a nice dining room and a large menu of items. We tried the daily special which was okay, but satisfying so no complaints there. The employees are low key but helpful and they seem to care about your experience. We also got a boba drinks. My niece enjoyed the taro boba and I tried the Oreo. They were icy and smooth and I liked what I chose. This was a nice surprise. read more

Stopped in on a weeknight for dinner with my mom. She ordered, then I ordered. Her food arrived, and she managed to eat about half before the waitress stopped by the table to grab the empty soup bowls. About 10 more minutes passed, so I got up and asked where my order was. Nobody seemed to have a clue. 5 more minutes, my mom's done with dinner and mine hasn't arrived! When it arrived, my mom had boxed up what was left of hers. I sent mine back and asked for it "to go" which was a mistake, because it sat in the window for another 5 min getting cold. I've never had such bad service in my life. We love this place!! Super hidden gem! We always LOVE getting the yakisoba combo. The combo comes with chicken, beef, and shrimp. It is a huge portion! We never finish it, always leftovers for the next day. Tons of yummy veggies with the yakisoba and great taste, always steaming hot. We've got a few of their sushi too. They have a combo sushi, it comes with 3 different ones, all delicious. Made fresh! It's fun to see the sushi maker come out and make it when any sushi is ordered. Great place, friendly staff. This place was really good! Service was quick, less than 15 minutes for my large to go order. Everything was packaged very well. All items were piping hot! The two women behind the counter were incredibly professional and polite. Atmosphere was quaint and clean. I've been going to New Sushi in corporate loop for a few years now, but their food and service has gone down hill. Recently they don't even answer the phone. Or place you on hold for 10+ minutes. And their portions have gotten so small! I couldn't bring myself to go there again. So I tried out Souru Teriyaki. And I was not disappointed! We will definitely be back! read more

I would give 4 but chicken was little dry and sushi item on Bento Box, rice was too thick with thin slice of salmon and tuna. My husband had Mongolian Beef, some of the beef was choose and others weren't. Not bad overall. Highlight was Appetizer with cucumber with crab in the middle. I was seen at Multicare Indigo and stopped by Souru Teriyaki for their Saturday lunch special chicken teriyaki with rice and salad to go. Service was fast and food was tasty. They had just the right amount of teriyaki sauce on the chicken. I like that they have their lunch specials on Saturday instead of just Monday through Friday. What a great incentive to bring customers in. I have one suggestion for this great little restaurant. You may want to clean the fingerprints off the front door. I never leave reviews but the food that we were delivered was just AWFUL! With COVID going on, we wanted to support our local business. We ordered two sushi rolls, two teriyaki combos and vegetable Tempura. The tempura was AWFUL!!! As a mater of fact anything that was deep fried (sweet and sour chicken, tempura and Gyoza) was over battered and over cooked. The tempura was NOT edible because of how thick and hard the batter was. The sweet and sour chicken my daughter got was terrible and the fried rice we substituted tasted like soggy grease rice. Getting the the sushi.... one of the rolls was pretty tasty, the other, deep fried in its entirety and covered with something that was supposed to be crispy but it was NOT,additionally, it was supposed to be spicy tuna and it tasted and looked like warm thin canned tuna salad. Absolutely disgusting!!!!! We have a table full of food that was over $110 with delivery and fees and it will go in the trash! VERY, VERY disappointed. Flavors were really good. I ordered the day after Christmas and I'm assuming maybe the sushi person was on xmas vacation cause my sushi rolls literally fell apart because they were so loose. Living in the bay area of California, we have a lot of restaurants, especially Japanese/Korean. This is the first place that my boyfriend took me to while I went to visit him in his hometown. It was slightly crispy and the spiciness was just right. I actually went to this place about 4 times throughout my 2 week visit, since this is his dad's favorite restaurant. The next visit I tried the regular teriyaki, spider roll, and tempura shrimp. Yet again another hit! This was when I went for my boyfriend's birthday with his whole family. The third time his father brought my boyfriend and I here to eat. I had the Pilly Roll, and it was okay. The fourth time was his father's birthday, so I went to order to go his favorite shrimp tempura roll, along with tempura shrimp. Also their hot green tea is pretty good. (Would not suggest to non-tea drinkers). Overall if I had to choose what to order again, I would order the Hot and Spicy Chicken Teriyaki and Spider Roll. The reason for the one star down is because I have had better sushi down here in California. But then again, this place is a teriyaki place, so you can't judge them on their sushi.
