Someone picked up immediately, I believe her name was Christine. I let her know it's an emergency as the line was flooding into my lawn. Within half an hour, Sam arrived, diagnosed the issue and cut the line off. The busted pipe was on the city's side, and he advised me that while they can go ahead and fix the issue, it would financially be more beneficial for me to call the city and have them repair it and pick up the cost. Sam cut the non-potable water service off which resolved the issue until the city was able to come out and repair it. Despite Champion giving me a notice ahead of time that there is an upcharge since its afterhours, they only charged me about 160$ to come out and do the work as it was quick. Sam was extremely knowledgeable too and works with integrity, and Christine did an amazing job keeping me informed on the status. I hope I have the opportunity to use Champion Plumbing on future work.

The toilet would continue to run after being flushed until she jiggled the handle. She had her Visa card for payment until the Aztec plumber quoted a price of $1100 to replace the toilet. Clearly, they were attempting to take advantage of an elderly customer. She was smart enough to deny the service. We purchased a replacement toilet from Home Depot for $250 and found a reputable person to install it for $200! BUYER BEWARE...We will never call Aztec again or recommend their service to anyone!

So I had them back out and got the new quote for the faucet replacement. The house is 25 years old so I'm sure it was just coincidental. On the plus side they are friendly and courteous and are quick to schedule, and they show up in the window of time. My gut tells me that they treat every visit as if it is after normal hours and price like it is an emergency call. They would not provide me with an hourly rate in the quote. I'll try to replace the faucet sprayer line myself. I think the part is about $40 ;)
