I usually refrain from writing negative comments unless it's really bad, but I think certain elements are worth highlighting . Draw your own conclusion. 1. First, with a positive, the follow up and customer service is great. It has to be, due to the following comments listed. 2. Moved a 1 bedroom apt( bedframe , mattress, dresser , 2 TVs , and a sofa), and it took 5 hours , with a locked elevator , in the same building, separated by 2 floors.Everything additional was boxed or bagged. No loose items. 3. They attempted to change the charges the day of the move , even though we had confirmed less than 24 hours prior. Claimed the 3rd person Was due to their double booking, snow , etc . And the additional man would speed up the process . Did i mention this simple 1 bedroom move took 5 hours for an in building, one bedroom transfer? Does that seem expedited ? Everything was a group effort, and teaching moment. this slowed the move down. For example, it Took 20 minutes of discussion to figure out how to disassemble a bed frame efficiently . Constantly going back and forth to the moving truck on the clock ( for what idk ) . If not watched , disappearing for 15-20 minutes at a time . 4. I was advised that I could leave my dresser items in the drawers, and they could move them efficiently. I now have to find someone to take my dresser apart, due to items some how making their way to inside unreachable areas insiders dresser. 5. I have to find someone to reassemble my sofa. They didn't put it back together. 6. You're charged 30 minutes to and from . So, you owe an hour before they start . They didn't have to leave the property, but charged me fuel . How do you charge someone fuel, and time for arrival, and departure ? Seems like the rate is only labor . You're also charged for any items used to rap to transport furniture . The intimation that they try to give you when you book is that is inclusionary. 7. With a discount, A DISCOUNT, this move cost me $1,000. Between the random 3rd man up charge , wrapping items for the large furniture , fuel charge , insurance that they make you cover that they don't disclose until the last minute that is almost $200 additional ... 8. Moved my items into the hallway, and left them there unattended while moving. 9. Even if you pay by phone, they want you to write your credit card information on a random piece of paper. It's a hard NO, for me. Yes, I signed, and let them go about their business. All My Sons Moving - Virginia North This moving company needs to be investigated for fraud or deceptive business practices. I booked my move a week in advance and paid a $100 deposit after being told it would guarantee my moving date and secure my spot. Then, only 3 days before my scheduled move, the manager -- I believe his name was David -- called to tell me they were fully booked for the entire week and that my move would either need to be rescheduled or canceled altogether. I made it very clear from the beginning that my apartment lease ends on the 31st and that I needed to move before then. Had this company been honest about the fact that paying a deposit did not actually guarantee service, I would have hired another moving company much earlier. Now I'm left scrambling at the last minute, despite having everything planned out. I also have to report to work in another state on the 1st, so this has created a major inconvenience and unnecessary stress. To make matters worse, speaking with them on the phone was a complete disaster. The communication was unprofessional, disorganized, and unacceptable. They agreed to refund the $100 deposit, but that does not make up for the inconvenience, stress, and potential consequences this situation may cause me. If I receive penalties from my landlord for a late move-out or face any employment-related consequences because of this company's failure to honor their commitment, I will absolutely be exploring all possible legal and consumer protection options. read more

Blocked the street, almost fought people in the street, then gave up on the entire move because they had to park a small distance from the entrance. They demonstrated complete unprofessionalism, no problem solving skills, and completely left me in the lurch. I wouldn't recommend these people to my worst enemies. they also propped the door open when i told them not to and left their own personal garbage in my apartment. I told them ahead of time I didn't have a dock and they might need a permit, they said it would be fine, and then used that as the reason to abandon the job even when they had found decent parking near my building. Moving company: All My Sons Moving & Storage 7642 Dynatech Ct, Springfield, VA 22153 804-315-3030 Manager: Rusty On Wednesday morning at approximately 8:04 AM, I contacted All My Sons Moving & Storage to ask questions regarding their moving services in order to determine whether I wanted to move forward with using their company. Unfortunately, my experience with both the employee and management was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. The employee I spoke with, Laura, appeared to lack the necessary knowledge and understanding of the company's services and pricing structure. During the call, I asked whether there would be any taxes or additional fees beyond the quoted flat rate. Laura responded by saying, "From what I have been told... no." I explained that I needed a clear and definitive answer and requested that, if she was unsure, she transfer me to someone who could provide accurate information. Laura placed me on hold and later returned to the call still unable to provide a direct or confident answer. I then expressed that her inability to answer basic questions made me feel as though she was not knowledgeable regarding her position. At that point, Laura became confrontational, spoke over me repeatedly, and insisted that she had already answered my question clearly and that she was fully capable of doing her job. Her tone and attitude became increasingly hostile and unprofessional. Due to her behavior, I stated that I no longer felt comfortable continuing the conversation with her and requested to speak with a manager. Instead of professionally transferring the call, Laura continued arguing with me. Roughly 15 minutes into the conversation, she then informed me that the call was being recorded. At no point at the beginning of the call was I advised that the conversation was being recorded, which I found highly concerning. I was eventually transferred to a manager named Rusty. Unfortunately, the interaction with management was no better. While attempting to explain my concerns, Rusty repeatedly interrupted me. When I asked if I could finish speaking, he responded, "Yes, if you would like," in a dismissive manner. After I explained the issues I experienced with Laura, Rusty stated that he "couldn't play sides" and would need to listen to the recording. I never asked him to take sides; my intention was simply to make management aware of the poor customer service experience so that no future customer would have to endure similar treatment. Rusty then stated that they "rarely receive complaints like this," implying that my concerns were unusual or questionable. I responded by saying that simply because complaints are rare does not mean poor treatment is impossible. Rusty accused me of misconstruing his words, which I was not doing. I was simply responding to his statement. He then claimed there appeared to be a "communication issue," when in reality the issue was the unwillingness of both the employee and management to acknowledge the unprofessional behavior and poor communication that occurred during the call. At that point, I informed Rusty that I felt the same confrontational attitude was being displayed by management and that I no longer felt comfortable trusting or spending my hard-earned money with the company. I then ended the call. Shortly after 9:00 AM, I received a voicemail from Rusty stating that he had reviewed the recorded call and believed the employee had answered my question. The voicemail entirely ignored the employee's inability to provide clear information, as well as the hostile and dismissive behavior displayed throughout the interaction. This experience was extremely disappointing and reflects a significant decline in customer service professionalism and accountability. As a hardworking United States Army Soldier, I dedicate my life to serving and protecting this country. I should not have to endure disrespect, hostility, or dismissive treatment simply for asking reasonable questions as a potential customer. They called us at 8:30 AM canceling our move and wanting to reschedule us for an afternoon move on the same day, which we couldn't do due to having to go to a wedding and something we stressed ahead of booking with them. Anyways, after promising us they could move us the following day at 1 PM, we had to call them asking where they were and were told they were delayed due to their first move. More hours went by and we again had to call (not the other way around) for them to not answer. We finally called the booking line at 4 PM to get an answer as, their northern Virginia office completely ghosted us. Thank God for Bookstore Movers! It was a nightmare. They did not label the boxes, refused to unpack me which was agreed upon, and lost parts to our electric bed. The move cost $3200 for a 2 bedroom apartment into a 3 bedroom apartment. The truck was too small. After vigorously complaining a cleanup crew led by Lena did a a very good job the following day. We wish we had her and her crew- Thomas and Quinton to begin with. They deserve 5 stars. I still have unlabeled boxes in the wrong places. Will never use them again. My wife and I are in our 70's and are disabled. We explained that to them from the get go and they assured use they would pack, unpack and do the move easily. absolutely the worst moving experience EVER. We had them from 9:30-3:00 just picking up the furniture from our house into the trucks. We asked for around 6-7 workers considering we have a lot of furniture and we also have a bunch of stairs since we live in a condo.However they only sent 4 people. Even the movers were saying that there is a lot of stairs and furniture. We even offered a virtual meeting to see the house so they could see how much furniture we have. They denied the offer, the next day they came and they said that we did not offer the virtual meeting? We had so much left in our bedrooms and the carpets are still on the floor. we paid over 4000 for the furniture, which is not even all of the furniture. I understand that moving furniture is hard, however they also charged us 600 for gas? I don't understand why the gas would be 600 dollars. We need to move by at least the 20th, however since we did y have all of the furniture yet, we asked when they would atleast be able to come and get the rest of the furniture, they said that they cannot come until the 25th. How will we be able to move if we don't have the furniture? If we wait any longer, we will need to pay another 3000 for the condos rent. I would absolutely NOT recommend this service. Was not a great experience. The moving team did some things really well such as padding and wrapping furniture. But packing of items was not good. A live plant was wrapped and packed in a box full of coffee mugs and dirt got everywhere. Plant survived but luckily we unpacked it the next day. Items weren't properly packed, shelves lost the shelf supports which are difficult to replace, electronics not wrapped and put in a box. Moving large objects into the house was done very well, no damage to walls. There was not much protection for the home and it was raining so we had to some clean up afterwards. I'm still unable to find some office items even though I've unpacked the office boxes. I'll check the other boxes that are labeled for other areas to hopefully find my items. The team were very polite and friendly but unfortunately I think they need more experience. I've moved over 15 times since college, local, interstate and international moves. This one, even though we chose the highest of 3 quotes, was low on the satisfaction scale. If we had gone with someone lower cost I would have expected this but not the highest bid. Also keep in mind the person who calls you to win your business has NOTHING to do with who packs ans moves your stuff. So the one important piece of advice is to make sure you have the contract written up exactly as discussed verbally because the contract as written is what you get. They took so much time and stalled, we got to the drop off and we declared some stairs and a pre madona I'm sorry as I am not racist, but these lazy ass bamas saw going up some stairs decided they were not going to do it. Booked a move for a one bedroom a day or 2 before the move which isn't a great amount of planning time but i really was in dire need of some moving help at the last min. They really were totally unprofessional. They took my deposit and promised to arrive with in a 4 hour window as stated on the contract. Then after waiting the entire day they never even showed up. No one called me to let me know they weren't coming, finally after hours went by I called a main number and was told I was not a priority on their list. First, the customer service department quoted me several different prices, I spoke with one person and ended up having to speak with someone else because the information in the computer was all over the place. Then, they sent me two movers: Terrell and Steph. They were horrible, Steph was doing majority of the work and heavy lifting. Terrell left his "tools" and asked me did I have any? They tried to put my glass table off of the balcony!!! The way they wrapped the couches was crazy. From 4-7:30pm they moved two couches. I paid $515...fast forward to today. Diamond, JaQuan, and Joey were the bomb!!! They got everything moved, in icy and snowy conditions with no problems!!! (My scale did break but that was my fault for not packing it properly). I had the *misfortune* of using All My Sons for my recent move, and it was a complete disaster from start to finish. First, I had three phone calls with the company leading up to my moving day, each time asking detailed questions about pricing, the moving process, and what exactly would be included in the service. I was assured time and again that everything would be smooth and that they would take care of my 1,050-square-foot home, which I had made very clear needed packing materials, disassembly, and careful handling. But when the day before the move arrived, I called to confirm the scheduled time, and the manager I spoke with acted *surprised* that I had been misled during my previous conversations. He claimed I had spoken with two senior employees about the details -- *red flag*, right? Clearly, no one there knows what's going on. We also went over the pricing multiple times. The quote was **$1,500**. However, when the crew arrived, it quickly became apparent they weren't prepared to do the job. During a walk-through, the manager over-promised, saying the move would be done quickly and efficiently. He was ambitious, but he had no idea what he was talking about. The two movers who showed up looked like they had no business lifting anything heavy and, to make matters worse, they seemed high as a kite. They were even smoking while loading and unloading my things! Seriously? But the worst part was yet to come. When it became clear the job was going way over the estimate, the crew asked me how I wanted to proceed. **I was never informed that they had "underestimated" the job until after they started**, and suddenly, I'm told I'd have to pay nearly **double** what was quoted -- a whopping **$3,700**. I was *stuck*, as my belongings were already halfway loaded onto the truck, and they said they couldn't finish unless I paid up. They then called me later to say they wouldn't be able to complete the move until the next day, leaving me with no choice but to either accept their terms or find a hotel. I knew this was a tactic to force me into paying, but what could I do? My things were *literally* held hostage on the truck. After reluctantly paying the inflated price, I even went so far as to offer the crew some pizza to be nice (big mistake). What did I get in return? **A slow, ridiculous process where they moved my things one at a time**, like crutches, my son's dinosaur toy, a single bike, a box, etc. It felt like they were moving at a pace meant to drag it out longer. When I opened the boxes they had packed, it was clear they didn't care about my belongings at all. Things were thrown in haphazardly, as if they were just trying to fill up space, not packing them properly. And to top it all off, they didn't even move **everything**. Some of my belongings were still sitting in my old home, and they didn't finish the job -- even though they'd been paid for it. My husband ended up helping to pack and disassemble furniture, which completely went against what I was told during my initial consultation. But at this point, it was too late to do anything about it. **Long story short: All My Sons is a dishonest, unprofessional company that will *rob* you blind.** They lie about pricing, they don't show up with the right crew, and they will treat your belongings with absolute disregard. The moving company contacted me 72 hours prior to the scheduled date to confirm that their arrival window would be between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. However, they did not arrive as scheduled and only contacted me at 10:45 a.m. to ask if a 12:00 p.m. arrival would be convenient. Terrible experience -- misleading quote, unprofessional staff, and damage to property My mother recently moved just one mile away, and we were quoted about $625 for a 2-hour move with 3 movers. We followed their instructions not to disassemble furniture, but on move day, the crew insisted everything had to be taken apart, which added time and cost. After loading the truck, they refused to unload unless we paid the full bill -- which had ballooned to over $2,600. I called their office (804-455-7387) and the rep I spoke to was incredibly unprofessional. He told me to stop wasting time on the phone and just make the payment, or he'd have to charge us even more in fees. It felt like we were being backed into a corner and taken advantage of. To make matters worse, the movers broke a bedframe and scratched the walls. Absolutely unacceptable. I would never recommend this company. I was all set to move and expected the movers between 8am and 9am. I had to call around 8;40am when I had not heard from anyone. I was informed that my move was cancelled. They couldn't help me and it was just nothing they could do. So on the day I had to be out of my apartment I was told they had a truck break down and couldn't do the job. I asked if they could check other locations or even rent a U-Haul truck since I had 3 men reserved for the move. I was told no and that they already sent the movers to help with other jobs. It was horrible. No empathy and no help. I had to scramble all day to find help. I didn't get moved until 4pm and was still unloading until 8pm. Sore and exhausted. I booked in Feb for a March 27th move. This is a national company that didn't have a back up plan or a way to help. They offered to move me the next day but I had to be out of my apartment on the 28th. I was left in a bind and no help. I asked for a higher supervisor or district managers number and was told NO. Setup my move about 3 weeks before my move date. I received an email confirmation and a call from the company to go over what I selected. A couple of days before the move, Cameron called me to confirm everything with me. Ran some expected numbers by me and we were set. I understood the costs and budgeted for them ahead of time (if you are expecting movers to use their own materials, always allocate extra funds toward this. This is standard for all moving companies and shouldn't be a surprise!) My move was schedule at 10am-12pm at my old building and 12:30pm-3pm at the new building. The moving team lead Mayhand called me promptly at 8am to introduce himself and set expectations. We confirmed the time to arrive and him and the team showed up just before 10am, which was perfect - no idling wasting my money. Met Mayhand and the other two guys, walked them through the apartment, and they got to work. Mayhand was extremely thorough, checking on his team members, making sure they were handling everything correctly. He ensured to keep asking me questions and had a thorogh understanding and skillset for the moving process. The other two guys were also extremely efficient and professional. Nowhere did these guys dilly dally or slow down. They took care to very carefully secure all fragile pieces (art, glass, TV, couch) with shrinkwrap, then a moving blanket, and then cardboard. It wad honestly fantastic to see them being so cognizant of each piece and how it needed to be secured (truly exceptional). They moved at a good pace and we met our timeline to the dot. Same happened in the new location. They moved switfly and carefully, kept asking question, were kind and professional and remained that way to the last minute. I want to commend Mayhand for being so incredibly thorough, professional, and diligent. I've had some bad mover experiences and he truly showed that he cared about our property and our time. My family member (Class 1 ASD) and I (Class 3 ASD) have been forced out of our current office space by disability abuse and disability discrimination. We are suing the landlord. We found a new office space. We needed to move our furniture there. Only the furniture. We moved everything else by ourselves. We were supposed to be moved on Sunday March 31 2024. A few days before the move it was changed to Saturday March 30 2024. A couple days before the move it was changed to Tuesday April 2 2024. Today April 1 2024 we were told that the movers screw it up again and can move us only next Saturday April 6 2024. So trying to move away from disability abuse and disability discrimination we have been subjected to more disability abuse and disability discrimination - this time by All My Sons company. If you are Autistic, you know harmful, destructive, and detrimental effects of sudden changes of plans and sudden changes of routine. For Class 3 ASD people it is easier to cope with a nuclear Armageddon than with change of plans and routine. All My Sons moving have caused severe harm to our mental health and to our physical health. Every time they changed the dates, I have been mentally and physically paralyzed for 8-10 hours. Today after hearing about another cancellation, my family member started having convulsions. I am considering suing All My Sons company for disability abuse. THE WORST MOVING COMPANY ON THE PLANET. - Move was scheduled between 11am-2pm. I reserved the loading dock for 11am-5pm. They arrived at 6:45PM.. -They worked from 6:45pm to 9:45pm.. and when they were done they kept ALL of our belongings and went home. -We were forced to get a hotel at 11pm at night causing major financial and life disruptions. This unexpected expense made us have to reach out to family for help. -Tyler Waltman, the guy we were communicating with on the phone was very dismissive and careless. After everything that happened, all he wanted from us was to be paid. - There was so many unnecessary and surprise fees. When they call you, they'll make it seem like the $159 per hour is the only thing you're looking at. Travel fees, equipment, mileage, a certain percentage of total.. So after arriving at 6:45pm ( Hours late from scheduled times) We were forced to pay $798 at 10:30pm at night after we were left with NOTHING. No bed to sleep on, No clothes, nothing. we had also paid a $100 deposit. so basically $898 in total for NOTHING. For 3 hours worth of work. Had me and my wife known we were gonna excessively charged for Travel fees, mileage etc we would have NOT went with this company. We basically paid for travel and mileage fees for them coming to us.. We dont get to pick and choose where your driving from to come to us which travel fees doesnt make any sense that we paid THAT night. They hadn't went to my new home but only traveled to us. so my question is if you drove from a move 100 miles away from us thats our responsibility to pay? doesn't make any sense. - We didn't have any clean clothes or undergarments because they had our dresser. - My wife had to call out of work the next day because she didn't have ANY clothes to wear. - My 20 month old daughter ate dinner at midnight, missed bedtime, didn't have any clothes to wear due to fact that they took her dresser overnight aswell - The next day a different group of people came to drop off our belongings..Right before they left we realized my $300 Desk was missing. Called one of the guys from last night to confirm that they actually took it out the apartment (Which they did) my wife was there to see them take it out. So one of their guys was honest enough to say that he remembers taking it out the apartment but not putting it in the truck. At this point we called the leasing office to check if my desk was still in the loading dock and it was already gone. Same area where the loading dock is where people dispose to furniture and trash and that same morning the Trash company came and picked everything up. So my desk was GONE. The second crew that came the next day also left both of my TV's and nightstands wrapped with material. This entire situation had a strong negative impact on my mental health. Our move with this company was one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences we've ever had with any service provider. The moving truck was sideswiped en route to our new home, and we were never informed -- we had to call the company ourselves to figure out why nothing had been delivered. They then promised our things would arrive the next day, along with a shuttle service to collect items left at our old place. That next day came and went with no updates. We called multiple times and were assured the crew was just finishing another job and would be heading our way soon. It wasn't until after 5:30 PM that someone finally told us delivery would be delayed again, but that the crew would be informed about the shuttle service for the following day. When our furniture was finally delivered on the third day, we discovered that ~$3,000 worth of items were damaged or destroyed, and the movers had broken a window in our new home. I asked about the shuttle service -- they had no idea what I was talking about and couldn't do it. Trying to get in touch with anyone in management who knows what's going on -- or can follow through on their own promises -- has been a total dead end. Either this company is dangerously disorganized, or I've fallen for a scam built on weapons-grade incompetence. Do yourself a favor: avoid this company at all costs. Be smarter than us and dont fall for their bait and switch. We booked them during the summer and on the day of the move they call us 30 mins before the drivers got there saying our rate increased 30% from our original rate because it was too hot. We literally booked you during the summer when it was already hot. You couldve charged us the "summer rate" to begin with. Stop lying to your customers. You already know it's gonna be hot. Manager on the phone kept saying "its unexpected and that we cant control the weather". Hey genius its the end of June ofcourse its gonna be hot. They call you at the last minute so you dont have a choice but to give in to their scam. DO NOT avail of their FREE KITCHEN PACK. The movers themselves did a great job, a bit slower than expected (ofcourse since it's an hourly rate). Dont fall for their family owned, veteran owned facade. Gimmicky sales people, too good to be true. Do not fall for them. My husband and bro in law had to rent a uhaul just to help 4 men that were already paying 2900 move a townhome. read more

My wife, who is 12 weeks pregnant, was forced to help load and unload boxes in 90-degree heat because of their failure to deliver on a basic commitment. We chose All My Sons expecting a professional, full-service move--including packing and trained movers. Instead, we had to book same-day help through another company, paying over $500 more than expected. That last-minute option was far less professional, but we had no choice. This was not just a mistake. It was a complete failure of professionalism, accountability, and basic human decency. Booked All My Sons for a move on 6/07 two months in advance. Paid $100 deposit during booking. Received no email confirmation of any kind. Had to call them to arrange details two days before. We arranged for them to arrive at 8:30am. 8:30am arrives on 6/07 and no one is there. I have to call them, and get told they'll be two hours late. Cool. Two and half hours later I receive an all saying "sorry, we don't have a truck". I guess a moving company doesn't have a truck? Anyways, they left us completely stranded for our move. Never work with this company. Still have not received deposit back. Customer service and booking process in general is terrible, all over the phone, and little to no paper record. A deeply traumatic experience. #1 I paid a flat rate of several thousand dollars based on a virtual estimate. They rescinded this rate despite being quoted and established on a recorded call. #2 They mistakenly placed several thousand dollars worth of furniture in the dumpster. I've irreparably incurred damages far exceeding those covered by insurance. #3 They feloniously stole my family's prescription medication, thereby, rendering half of my family ill. #4 They kept felonious crew member (thief) on task for move. Other boxes went unaccounted for. #5 They broke down items, lost pieces, and failed to reassemble furniture. #6 They took 2 days, 3 trucks, and 3 different crews, when we were promised 1full day and 1 full crew. Tragic. Jason Cruz, purportedly a manager, mismanaged the entire move and exacerbated fires as they emerged, rather than extinguishing them. read more

Excuse me??!! Rescheduled for Sunday with another $100 discount. For a 1 bedroom apt they charged $1000 from VA to DC?? Took them 5 YES 5 HOURS to complete the move! Are you freaking kidding me?? Extremely unorganized company. They have multiple locations and very frequently will transfer different locations to pick up a move without letting the customer know up front. The long story is below, but they cancelled on me less than a day before the move at 6pm on a Saturday. After they cancelled the move by voicemail and did not respond back, I spoke with someone the next morning who said that they were actually answering from Texas. I asked them if movers would still be coming on the Sunday afternoon that I was scheduled for and they blamed me for not picking up the phone on a Saturday evening less than a day before the move. I wanted my deposit back and I was hung up on. The following Tuesday I get a call from one of the offices letting me know that they were coming... I had to let them know I already found someone else (Prince Asong Moving) and I should have already been given the deposit back. They said they would, but that is still waiting to be seen. As seen by the high rating and large number of reviews on google, I was expecting quality, but instead I received an unorganized run system with false promises. Their movers probably do a fine job, but that's if you don't get messed around before hand. Full Story: I originally scheduled a move for a week or so in advance. I called on a Monday and I was given a quote. Then, they asked for a deposit and promised an email would be sent of the quote and scheduled move.. I never got the email.. I called and followed up only to find out it was the Arlington movers that were going to do my move but they transferred it to All My Sons in Richmond (2 hours away). The movers in Richmond said they would provide me the confirmation email that I was booked on Wednesday and it wasn't done until the following day with multiple follow ups needed. Once I got the info, they provided multiple different amounts of what the hourly rate would be after I was promised the quoted amount. They kept transferring me to different people as well. It all felt very unorganized and they never had clearly communicated what they were doing until afterwards. Once I was fully confirmed and reassured they would provide the move, the next day they cancelled on me. They must of reassured me more than 5 times that they would be there only to cancel on me with very little time to find another mover. If I could leave no stars I would. I paid them $1000 to move my one bedroom 20 minutes away. They broke my bed a very expensive piece of artwork and my table and then offered me $80 for it. They are the worst moving company I've ever encountered. Worker were high asf and talking about my furniture. Spoke negatively about my neighborhood. The experience was overall ghetto. read more

the most deceptive dealing from beginning to the end on many levels. when I booked, they quoted one price for 2 people and a truck. then when they called to confirm the move, the manager guy quoted a much higher price and said I need 3 people. meanwhile, it's a small 2 bedroom apartment. (I told them I don't need three, but 3 showed up anyway. one was clearly in training and had no clue what he was doing, so the other 2 took their time teaching him-- at my cost). the driver arrived, took 30 minutes to park the truck right at the entrance straight parking (so my time started) 30 minutes before they came up. took their time to load the truck. took an hour to drive 16 miles on an interstate. I had to pay at the drop off location before they even started to unload. They put 3 hours to unload and it took them 2 hours to unload, but I couldn't get refunded for the extra time I was charged. I have another family member moving, thank God they hadn't booked with this company!!! read more

They are TERRIBLE! Misinformation. I was informed during the review of the moving estimate that they will be here at 10a ( morning about a "window time") I live where reservations for the loading dock and elevators are mandated! Nobody does a curtesy call for arrival which I have had numerous movers do the day of prior. I call at 10:58 asking where the movers and some person claiming to be in a managerial position just says they have a window time! And they will move my whole apartment before 2pm. Who wants a rush job? When I am paying hourly??? Inconsiderate unprofessional and the fact that thwu can show up when they want is insane as if I don't have a tight schedule the day of moving!! read more
