While the guys who did the heavy lift were solid, there was some minor damage. The have yet two follow up after two months and a phone call telling them they were in a competitive bid situation. I gave them a 3 star review because of their lack of follow through for a damage claimed, but now that I'm unpacking in my new home, I downgraded them to 1 star. Two Men and a Truck were amazing. My move was scheduled for 9/25 - they arrived around 8:00am. Cory was the boss, he did such a great job explaining everything. Edwin was awesome at showing care for all the boxes that he loaded while Cory carefully but expertly wrapped all the furniture. They were done before 10:30. They then drove interstate to unload on 9/26. They arrived around 12:15pm and again were awesome. Cory made sure to unload furniture and boxes in the specific rooms were my stuff needed to be without even asking. They were both friendly, completely professional and great, great workers! 8.31.22 I relocated from one area of Salisbury Md---(5) miles or less to Fruitland Md. I was informed about ( this organization ) d from sources. Once I got my furniture etc. several things I really didn't appreciate, items broken and damaged..I do understand they ( the 4 men ) tend to be inexperienced, but my furniture and equipment should not have been the test set. You might as well move your own stuff for the money and trouble that you will save. I hired two men and a truck to move my things out of the basement of my boyfriends parents house. Everything was already boxed. They had to get my mattress from the second floor, couch from the garage and a few odds and end furniture from the basement as well. The men were pretty timely in packing up the truck. They were getting ready to leave when I had to tell them about something else left in the house. The move was only about 6 miles. They unpacked and charged me almost 500 dollars and left. I truly felt like it was A LOT of money just for the half load of a truck that I had, but was happy at this point I didn't have to do it all myself. When I started putting my stuff away I realized my coffee table had a large scratch down on side. My coffee table isn't in pristine condition, but I also just paid someone 500 dollars to move my stuff. Start looking around a little more and one leg of my reptile tank cabinet is smashed in. I've moved this same stuff quite a few times since I've had it and I never put a scratch down the coffee table to busted the whole leg on my reptiles tank. As all companies do they sent me a review which I notated that I thought it was a little ridiculous to pay 500 dollars for something that I could have saved money and done better myself. So the operations manager Dave calls and acts like he's going to do whatever he can and to send him pictures of the damage. Says we can replace the stuff. I thought this was really great. Quite a bit of time goes by after I email him the damage photos. No call. No email. So I send another email and he says he is still assessing the damages. Calls me today and says they can send it through their insurance which will take 90 days or he can cut me a check for 25$. Are you serious? What an INSULT. I paid over 200 dollars for the reptile tank cabinet that no has a wobble, because the foot is smashed. The coffee table was over 200 dollars and you want to give me 25 dollars? This company is in it for money, obviously. Save yourself. Don't bother using Two Men and a Truck. They are insulting and obviously only in it for gross profit not satisfied customers in the long term. Don't waste your money or time. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Let me start by saying, I understand that moving costs money. I would never expect someone to pack and move an entire family's household goods for next to nothing. I expected to pay a decent bit for moving our family. However, to expect the equivalent of two months paycheck to move one family less than ten miles is beyond outrageous. We got our initial estimate, and while it was slightly higher than what I wanted to pay, I was okay with that. Because I was told, multiple times, that this estimated included packing, loading, and delivering all of our household goods. The day of the scheduled move came and our movers were not only an hour and a half past their arrival time, they came with no boxes or packing supplies. Why? Because the office told them we were packing our own household goods (which is not what the office told us). After over an hour of trying to figure out who miscommunicated what, we had to send them back. The office (who didn't answer their phone half the time I called this morning) told us it would be over $3,000 extra from the original quote for them to pack our small duplex home. We are now less than 72 hours from our out inspection with our current home and scrambling to find supplies and support to move ourselves. Tish and Dave of their office staff not only misquoted our initial estimate despite numerous requests from us for a "full pack and move" estimate, they blamed us for their mistakes and were flat out rude to us over the phone when we asked for an explanation. Never once did my husband or myself raise our voice or become aggressive, even though Tish did so multiple times with my husband. If you're moving and considering hiring this company please know they do not value you, your business, or your home. Only how much money they could potentially squeeze out of you. And when they make a mistake you'll be the one they blame. read more

Given an initial quote of $1,024, waited six days to have someone come to my house for the "final flat rate" quote and it was more than double the initial quote. I would never have even entertained this company had I known the price to move the items was going to be that high. Even when 2Men promptly and efficiently responded to my online request a day later, I was still skeptical. But miracles DO happen, little ones, and this company was phenomenal. I could not possibly give Movers Dan and Brett a higher commendation: they were proficient, called and kept me abreast of every stage of the move, and did an absolutely excellent job with good humor. FLAWLESS EXECUTION! The service with Two Men and a Truck was absolutely awesome! They came to the house a week in advance to walk through and I met with the New Management--great guys. On moving day their team were very courteous and careful, from the moment they arrived they got right to work; they protected the floor, took apart furniture, and wrapped all fragile items in snap. Their obvious skill and professionalism were TOP NOTCH! So when it was time to unpack it all and put in the new house I was completely at ease even with all the fresh paint and new dark hard wood floors. Then today we meet the guys and they are wonderful! Clean, new looking truck. Very respectful and mannerly. Extremely reasonable on the price. They wrapped things with care and concern. These guys were excellent! They went over and above what I would have expected of a moving co. My husband left with the key to the POD lock, and these guys worked for nearly a half hour to cut the heavy lock off of the POD to get to the furniture. I would have really been stuck without their "can do" mentality. They cut the lock off, sweating with the heat and humidity, then proceeded to move all of our stuff into the house. They were courteous, strong, professional and used great care to not damage any of the items or the walls and stairs in the house. I am so glad to have found them and would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again myself if the need arises. read more

I got over there at noontime on the day we needed to be out of the house and they had our goods in their truck by 3:00pm and delivered the following week. Sir or Ma'am, This shall serve a s a formal complaint. My wife and I used your franchise located in Dover, De, on 22 February 2014. Although the crew sent to us was 20 minutes late, they were pleasant enough. The loading process went relatively smooth. However during the unloading there were issues, which continued through today with the franchise owner Frank Digioa, which shall be addressed also. While unloading into residence, no protective covering was placed on hardwood flooring, which had been completed 18 hours prior, in otherword new flooring. The crew was moving a couch through the entryway, the couch had been stood upright, at base of stairs. When the movers were trying to line up couch to take up the staircase, a scrapping noise was heard, they ceased movement briefly, and then resumed, causing further scrapping sound. They proceeded to move couch without concern, nor verbal acknowledgement of same. When pointed out to the crew, their response was neither apologetic, or empathetic, more so seemed dismissive. One of the crew members asked if I was sure that damage wasn't old. When he was advised that flooring was completed 18 hours prior, I was met with a dismissive reply of "That's what insurance is for". The crew completed unloading furniture and began to set up same in master bedroom. During this time one of the crew members prepared bill for services, and remaining crew neglected to finish task of set up. The bill completed, as well as damage form. I was advised that it would be submit upon their return. On 25 February 2014 received a message from Jen Digioa regarding damage. I returned call and subsequently spoke with Frank Digioa. Mr Digioa advised me that they would have a repair person come to fix said issue. I advised him that I would use my own contractor, and they would be responsible for payment. I understand this may be a little unorthodox, however, with flooring having been finished 18 hours prior, the original contractor should perform repair, for continuity of quality. I advised Mr. Digioa that I would forward photos of damage, as well as invoice from my contractor, to which he agreed would be paid in full upon satisfactory completion of repair. Mr Digioa was also advised that payment to him was placed on hold/indispute until repairs completed, and paid in full, to which he also agreed. When contacted through your office, I shall forwar any documented communication as well as photos. Which brings us to this morning. I received a phone call from Jen Digioa at 0825. Ms. Digioa informed me of their contractor, and how the insurance paid for repairs. After listening to her details, I advised her, I would be using my own contractor, at which point Ms. Digioa began speaking over me in an agitated tone of voice. Ms. Digioa would not allow me to complete my statement, to the point of my advising her that if not allowed to complete my statment I would be hanging up, and investigating further options, up to litigation. Ms. Digioa continued to speak, I subsequently hung up. At 0828 Mr Digioa called me in confrontational and agitated tone. He advised me that no one speaks to his wife like that, and that I could call anyone I wanted, and he was not paying for any damages. Mr Digioa then hung up. At 0829 this date, I returned a phone call to Mr Digioa, who gave the most unprofessional display of customer service I've seen thus far. Mr Digioa continued to express himself in an extremely agitated tone, and began to use aggressive explicit language, i. e. telling me to "Fuck off", "I don't give a Fuck, I'm not paying Fucking thing", and ended conversation before hanging up on me with "Go Fuck yourself" I will tell you that this is UNACCEPTABLE!!!! I am appauled by this lack of professionalism. At this point it is not even about the inconvenience of damaged property/goods, it is the abhorrent treatment and customer service given by a franchise owner. Behavior such as this should not be tolerated in the business community, nor will it be tolerated by me. And based upon Mr Digioa's level of agitation, statements and irrational behavior on the phone, I also have concerns about the safety of my family and property. I shall be filing complaint through the Better Business Bureau, as well as state consumer protection/affairs office. You claim to meet and exceed customers expectations, as well as treat possesions and customers with care and respect. Sorry to say that this franchise, especially it's owner, Mr. Digioa have fallen very short of this mark. When David evaluated our house and gave me the estimated cost of the move, he left me with the impression I could expect a very high level of service from all of his personnel. He also stated that I could expect 100% reimbursement for anything that might be broken. He emphasized several times that each individual was insured and bonded and that each one had recently been drug tested. We went into the move with some expectations: 1. We were downsizing from approximately 2300 square feet to 1800 so things would be tight. If everything was moved as we wanted, the garage would be one third to one half full of items from the garage and basement. 2. The movers would follow our requests/directions and move all the items to the location we wanted. 3. We were not expected to label any of the boxes, etc. as to their projected location at the new home. That should be the mover's job. They arrived on December 1 with seven individuals and began packing the house. I stayed in the living room where I could watch the kitchen and living room being packed. The individuals in these two areas did their jobs well. Larry, the individual who packed the kitchen did an excellent job. He packed everything as if it belonged to him; not one piece of glassware or other kitchen item was chipped, cracked or broken. Everything seemed to be fine with the packing and I expected the loading and delivery would go as well. I did not check each room to ensure everything was properly marked with the location it was in the old house and to be delivered to in the new house. I had informed both David and Eric, moving crew chief that everything in the basement and garage were to be placed in the new garage. Everything else was to be taken to the appropriate room in the new house. I had shown David a model train layout and some antiques and special items we felt needed special handling. Joe, the inspector, agreed to move the train layout and an antique smoking stand in the van he drove to the new house. Other special items were packed appropriately. On December 2 eight individuals loaded everything into two trucks and delivered to the new address. Had I know the mess that ensued, I would have stood outside the house and directed each individual where each box, etc. was to be taken. This is a summary of what occurred: 1. Nine boxes that were labeled for various rooms in the house were left in the garage. 3 - Dining Room, 2 - Living Room, 2 - Office and 2 - Kitchen. I found these myself as I looked through the mess they left in the garage. I found two of these when Joe was present and showed them to him. 2. I also found one box that had been pieced together from two separate boxes with items just thrown in randomly with no packing or care for the items. 3. An unlabeled wardrobe box was found in the master bedroom with various items including Christmas wrapping paper, a Nutcracker statue, and various items of clothing. It appeared the individual just shoved the items in the box rather than pack them as they should have been. I showed this box to Joe and he took several pictures of the contents. 4. A second wardrobe box and a dish pack box, both unlabeled, were also packed in the same manner. One of these had a DVD player and other electronic items in the box along with loose clothing items. There was no attempt to pad the electronics, they were laying on top the clothing. I feel we were grossly overcharged for the move. With 22 years of Air Force moves, including several overseas, this is by far the worst I have experienced. Instead of spending time getting curtains hung, having fans installed and other new house tasks, It took nearly three weeks to rearranging the garage so a car could be parked in there. Would I recommend them for someone else? Only if you have the time and people to watch how things are packed, labeled and unloaded. It would take someone moving constantly from room to room during the packing and unloading to watch each individual. We emailed the above to David at Two Men and a Truck on Monday, Dec 28th to permit them to be aware of what we were going to post and to give them the opportunity to comment. I received a telephone call from Jeremy Brown, the owner of the local Two Men and a Truck franchise on December 29th. He agreed with our assessment and agreed to refund 50 percent of our payment. Jeremy and I spoke for nearly 25 minutes about our concerns and the training and education his employees have received. He told me he had read the letter to the individuals who were involved in our move both the let them know what we had experienced and as a training tool for future moves. As I told him, the training aspect was our primary purpose in submitting the letter to them and for publishing it online. We submitted this evaluation to them with the expectation it would be posted on their website, because they failed to do that it is posted here. read more

Although we have used Two Men & A Truck in the past and had good results, I will never use them again after our last move. First they over booked our move date and did not inform us until the afternoon prior to our move. Our move was to take place the next day at 7am but was pushed back until after 5pm. During that time we had no contact and were given no contact information for once they closed their offices at noon that day. When they arrived at our house it became apparent that they were unsure if our all items would fit on the truck despite giving them a detailed list of our items at the time we booked the move. Around 7pm at night we were finally told that not everything would fit on the truck, thankfully after much debate around 8:30pm they sent another truck to pack up the remainder of our items. We finally arrived at our new house around 11:30pm and only 1 truck made it. While they were unpacking that truck the driver of the larger truck (which had the majority of our possessions on it) called to inform us that they were pulled over on the way to our house and their truck was being impounded for several infractions. Around 1am we were informed that they hoped to get the truck out the following morning and would complete the move then. The truck finally arrived at our new house around 10:30 the next morning, I wish I could say things got better from there but they did not. While unpacking our furniture we found that 4 pieces of our furniture were damaged in the move (3 of which have been in our family since the 1940's,) and boxes that were marked fragile and were filled with bubble wrapped must have been dropped or thrown around as the glasses inside were shattered. Although they offered us a discount that they felt was fair (but still cost us close to $1,000) that did little to make things better. Overall the worst move I have ever experienced and I will never use them again! read more
