Entrance and exit are reversed due to code box location which forces one to "play chicken" with incoming and outgoing traffic and staff is almost never in the office when needed to make in person payments, almost forcing you to pay their might as well be $5.00 online "convenience fee", which is anything but convenient, but more so absolutely frustrating, when they almost always keeps their "Will Return" clock sign on their door, almost forcing you pay online, which is basically the financial equivalent of getting raped on a date. read more

Gotta say this place is well kept up and clean. The manager on site is a really knowledgeable and good guy. He will definetly give you what ever information you might need. Tell him what you have and he will make sure he gets you the right space and good price he can. Everything here is kept to great standard. Only reason why I didn't get a cube here. Beware! I was enticed with a low price and after a few months the price was raised! It may be a coincidence, but I moved my stuff in on February and the price was raised in June when the weather is hot and people are less likely to move their stuff out to a new storage facility in the heat. I must say this was a WOW place! We are not new to the advantages of a rental storage unit. We scouted multiple storage facilities within the Mesa area. After physically stopping by and looking at three places we were amazed at the lack of care of the facility for the price. It's not rocket science I grant you that. However I did Google and found CubeSmart. We were actually two blocks away so we turned around and stopped in. The young lady behind the desk, Tarina, was fabulous. She was friendly, courteous, nice and above all professional. She even recommended movers to help with our upcoming house move. Customer for 5 years and was happy until recently! Every time we come it's dirty, they replace the doors and left it wide open and customer stuff was available for anyone to steal. They wasted money replacing doors and putting up numbers when they didn't need to and when asked about it one person will say that it's done by the corporate office and the other will say no it's done by the manager. They worthlessly spend money on things that are not needed and then raise our prices every year! And when dealing with the current manager here in Mesa and the district manager SKIP (who's leaving) I can't say that I'm pleased with the lack of service or customer care! 5 years with one unit never late with a payment and yet the rates have increased over 50%! But they made sure and tell me that the next customer will be paying more than I will! And that's how they treat you at CubeSmart! Like you're not important and you don't matter! The price was raised after 6 months. I was told this is a regular thing in order to ' bring you up to everyone else's level'. So, although they advertise the first month free, you end up paying it anyway through the price increase later. read more
