Hitting a brand new tenant with such a steep change so soon is unreasonable and unfair. On top of that, they are nearly impossible to contact. Calls go unanswered, and getting a timely response is extremely difficult. While the facility itself is fine, the pricing practices and lack of communication have left me feeling taken advantage of. I would not recommend based on this experience.

I was given a rate increase after my first year and called immediately to negotiate. I was kindly given my original move in rate. Fast forward a couple years and I was in need of a larger first floor unit as I am a disabled veteran. After one month's payment, my rate increased $122. I called again immediately to negotiate said increase. I was told it was for inflation, security, and building improvements. I go onto the website to act as a new customer, and my same unit is listed as available for $21 less than my current rate. This is a difference of $143. This is not inflation/improvements or security. This is abuse of contractual power; placing tenants under legally binding agreements with fine print allowing Go Store It to inflate prices as they please and leave consumers in a pinch to move in and forced to move right back out due to affordability. This is not an ethical business model, and consumers should not be treated in such a manner.

Furthermore, the storage units are very well air conditioned, there are multiple bathrooms in the facility and the bathrooms even have changing tables. Mike was amazing and patient with me. He has helped me on multiple occasions. He also insisted on ensuring I knew how to use all the codes for easy access. This is one of the rare occasions where I wish I could give a sixth star.
