DO NOT COME HERE!!! I had left a multitude of my things at this cubesmart in the months of May- August 2024, because I live in New York and I go to college here. I had just reopened my unit for the first time and it was infested with cockroaches. 1000s of dollars down the drain, I have filed a claim. Now they are saying that they will continue to charge me for this unit until I clean my roach infested things up. There are not only roaches but 100s of eggs as well. Rates are up over 300 a month for a 10x20 and notice was given that they are going up to over 400.

I paid close to two thousand dollars for a climate controlled unit to protect my furniture only to have their AC unit leak water and destroy all of my furniture. The district Manager offered me 6 months of free storage since I left furniture there. I then informed her that was all the mold infested furniture that I only left there for them to see. I summarized what I had in the unit and sent them countless pictures. I was not offered a penny for my damage. At the very least I should have been offered what I paid them to destroy my my stuff. I've written to all the TV Investigating Reporters for all the Jacksonville News Stations. Let hope they pickup the story. This was clearly their equipment that failed and they should be held responsible to make this good. This review is for the St Augustine facility located on RT206. I am so happy using CubeSmart for my storage needs. The facility is always clean and bright. The staff members are so eager to assist. Vicky has helped me transfer from a small unit to the next sized unit. She dropped everything she was doing to show me the unit and get everything settled on the spot. I got one of the small climate controlled storage units at CubeSmart 209 SR 206 East, St Augustine. A week later discovered that it was too small, and asked to transfer to a larger unit. The manager was very helpful and located a larger unit very close to my small unit so that it was easy for me to relocate my stored items. She also waived the administrative fee for the new contract. We just recently moved from VA to FL and while looking for a home to live in, we needed to place our 26 foot Penske truck that was PACKED with our home into a storage unit for a short amount of time. We did NOT want to be signing a contract NOR did we want OR need to be paying a lot of money for this unit. Well, CubeSmart came through for us 150% in so many ways!!! They not only had a very large unit ready and waiting for us, the staff was FANTASTICALLY accommodating in sooooooo many ways! Milexa was the first lady we dealt with. She was wonderful!!
