Well Lady was extremely helpful in checking in & has been very accommodating. I did a partial move from an apartment to a home in a nearby town. Not everything was going to either location. I am using Cubesmart for my storage needs, I find that they are less expensive than other storage companies. They are clean and well maintained. Beware of bait and switch predatory pricing. I'm now paying nearly $400 per month for a 100SF unit. The same unit has been advertised online for $220 for over three months now. CS refuses to lower my rate so planning to vacate. If you rent a unit here expect the price to double within a year. Also, beware of excessive late fees. When my autopay credit card expired after 3 years, I was given 7 days notice before a 30%+ late fee was charged. I addressed the issue immediately but CS refused to credit the late charge. Finally, CS is rated D- by the Better Business Bureau and this location has failed to respond to 354 complaints. CS is a perfect example of why this industry should be regulated. Do yourself a favor and avoid Cubesmart. read more

This cube smart location is super convenient to my house. However over the years the management teams change and the most recent team of two young woman are horrendous. I've repeatedly asked them to deliver time sensitive FedEx deliveries to my unit the day they arrive. Last package arrived on Tuesday 9;30am and was still not delivered by Friday afternoon. I was out of town but the lack of delivery caused one of my reps to not have his replenishment implants that were in the FedEx shipment for his surgery the following day. Left them a polite voicemail explaining the situation and pleading with them to please deliver them day of FedEx drop off. Received a phone call from them today and not only did they not apologize for the service disruption to my rep but had the nerve to tell me they are going to upcharge my rent $15.00 a month due to a led light I have in unit because their lighting is pathetic. I've been at this unit 6yrs and pays monthly via my Amex so payment is never late. The front entry door for access routinely breaks and they recently bolted the restrooms shut so you can't use them. Couldn't leave a worse review for this place steer clear John L: I sent customer number and contact info to the help@ email addy you left. I am actively looking to move the unit to another provider so unless someone who can affect change wants to call me Monday to discuss potentially remaining at that site with needed changes please don't have some customer service person call me to say they are sorry and that's it. I'm a small business owner in Medical Device for over 30yrs and couldn't understand customer service better as that's the basis of our business relationships. Your location at 7501 S Dixie does not have a clue how to retain customers. Look forward to speaking with someone who can have an impact if possible. read more

So we first started out with an outdoor unit and because of rats we decided to move indoors, the old manager at this location was decent and worked with us to keep us there. Then the price per month went up over $100 per month. The girls that work inside the office have attitude and can't be bothered to help you, and then when you voice a concern they look at you like you have eight heads. They are rude; talk down to you like a two year old. Overall the place is clean, but the customer service is horrible and they need to hire people that actually listen and care about their jobs. read more

I needed a storage unit to store a car for a few months. When i no longer needed the unit, i stopped by the store to let them know unit was cleaned out and no longer needed; "please cancel rental." A month later I see another charge on my card. I used online chat and they said manager needs to take care of this. Manager called and told me another department needs to decide if credit will be issued. So i called credit card company to dispute and as soon as i said "Cubesmart" the agent replied, "oh them again." Apparently Cubesmart likes to try to cheat their customers out of extra months of billing. Horrible! Look elsewhere. read more

7/6/2021 I reserved a unit online at this location for a 5x5 INDOOR unit. The assistant manager Jamie called me promptly to confirm my reservation and pricing. I told her we would be there by 4pm to make payments and move our stuff in. Things would have been great however on my way to move my things in an hour later she called me back to tell me the unit is an outdoor unit and not the one they advertised/I reserved online. She stated that they do not have any 5x5 units indoors available. Our belongings require an indoor unit. I asked about price matching since it was confirmed an hour earlier that the unit was indeed available and we were already on our way. She said no and ended the phone call by hanging up. It's truly disgusting how an "assistant manager" lacks proper customer service and general common sense. If you don't have a unit available after confirming with me that you do, own up to the mistake, get on the computer and locate another unit at another location or price match me. How hard is your job, really?. My blind Grandma could do a better job! read more

Nice customer service. Easy cancellation. The only complaint is that there were roaches in my boxes when I closed my unit. Didn't realize it until my second load and by then they were already in my car. I've had other storage units at other locations in the past and never had problems with the cardboard boxes. I suggest not using cardboard boxes if storing at this facility. read more

Ruined furniture and no customer service! I had a storage unit here for a few months and when I went to retrieve a few items to move, I noticed an awful leak from the ceiling into, you guessed it, my unit. Devastated that a piece of furniture and silk carpet that is over 100 years old is now ruined, I went to tell office management. Too bad the callous and rude Judy told me "thanks, you signed me up for a few hours of paperwork." That was her response for my ruined furniture?? I was too heartbroken to strangle her. The manager? He told me, "well, you know how it is with stuff.. It's like a car, when you drive it off the lot, you lose half the value." Thank you for your erudite opinion! Yes I get it, that might be true for overwhelmingly most things, except one category of items - antiques, which increase value over time. I told them to just contact the insurance company and I will start the claim. Turns out they really didn't want to do those "hours of paperwork", so they never contacted them. I had to do it all myself. Bottom line: if you have anything worth over $100, don't trust Cube Smart (especially on 7501 S Dixie Hwy) to store your valuables. It'll likely get ruined and customer service is the worst! If they were so unhappy working there, why work there? People only store items they consider of value - be it a grandmother's wedding dress (likely $0 monetary value) value or old textbooks. And what is the most important thing a storage company can provide to the storage renter? TRUST. And they've lost mine forever. This was the worst decision I've made in a long time. Don't make the same mistake! Stay far, far away! read more
