I have an existing unit at this place, and I wanted to move some specific items into a smaller unit over the weekend. For various reasons, I was unable to finish moving my things into my new unit before the facility closed. The owner, Craig, went above and beyond to make sure that I had the time I needed to move all of my things, even though it was after hours. He followed up with me later that night and couldn't have been kinder. I would also like to give many, many props to Maria, who was amazing during the process of my obtaining the second unit; she made 100% sure that my transition went smoothly. She was extremely cordial and professional, and she answered any questions I had. This place is great, and so is every single person I encountered! :) read more

First, we were supposed to pick up UHaul in Boynton Beach, FL. The day before we were re-routed to a pickup location in Lantana, FL. When we arrived, we were told they only had one dolly, and it was an appliance dolly. We said, that's okay, we would take it. We were then told they could not rent us the dolly because it was "not checked in" at their location. We tried to rent a dolly at a local rental center, but before renting it, we went to the 15 ft. truck and found that the Check Engine light was on. I could not take a truck and drive over 600 miles with a Check engine light. Lantana store then re-routed us to another store in West Palm Beach, FL to get a different truck. Finally, nearly 3 hours later (and now behind 3 hours for our moving help) we were able to load the truck and begin our trip to Georgia. We had to stop and stay overnight in Lake City, FL, because it was nearly midnight! We are extremely dissatisfied with UHaul and will certainly consider other options for our next rental. read more

I rented a 10 x 15 unit online. I chose this facility over another because there was a special offering the first full month free. Several days later on the day I had chosen for moving things into the unit I received an email confirming again and reminding me that it was move in day. I got to Lantana Self Storage and it looked nice and clean and the young man behind the counter was pleasant, but he could not find my reservation. He asked if I did it online and I said I had. I had my phone out with the confirmation email pulled up and offered the reservation code. He said that they had 10 x 15 units available so he could rent it to me for 1/2 off the first month. I said this unit was more expensive than our other choice, but we chose them because the free month made it work out to slightly less over the 6 months we needed it. He called his assistant manager who agreed that 1/2 off was all they would do because they only had 3 units left. If they had 5 available they would have honored the reservation. I let him know that what they were doing was a bait and switch tactic and that I would go somewhere else. It's a shame because it seemed like a better than average storage facility physically. Now that it's almost the first there may be less inventory, but I would rather pay a bit more than deal with a company who practices this kind of deception. read more

I highly recommend this business for your storage needs! The office worker was very friendly and answered all my questions. They keep the place immaculate and the rates in comparison to others in the area are hard to beat. Also safety is a big issue with me as I am a woman in my mid 60's and I felt very secure with all the cameras and fenced in facility! read more

Absolutely the best place in the area to store your stuff. The employees are friendly, the place is clean, and has many security cameras. They have a moving truck they let their customers use if available. Thankfully it was available when I needed it and I only had to pay for the gas and insurance. I had reserved a unit at another location in the area but once I arrived there it looked unsafe and unclean so I didn't even get out of the car. I had searched several other locations and just happened to pass by this place while driving. It is very clean and welcoming, and they have a policeman that lives onsite. Once, when out of town, I was late by one day in making my payment and they were kind enough to waive my late fee. If you need storage in this area, this is the place to go! read more
