They didn't do much talking -- just got right down to wrapping items and putting them in the truck. They followed me to the first stop to drop off one item, and then to the second floor storage unit. They did a great job there as well. When setting this up, I spoke with Carla in the office. I had several emails and calls with her following the initial call, and I really appreciated her help and humor. I was totally pleased.

The door shuts behind you and there is absolutely no light! This is a massive saftey issue! I can't believe they let her go in there on her own to show units. You have to walk further down,...in the darkness before a motion light comes on! And that's not the only part that not light. No way would I rent there. I'm sure this is against employee rights too. NOT SAFE!

We utilized the Boynton branch of All My Sons for our recent move. We only had about 20 or so items…read morefor them to move (all furniture basically), we had previously moved a majority of items ourselves as we had 3 weeks to do so between our apartment and our new home. We went with them as they provided the most reasonable quote based on what we needed moved. On the positive side I will say the sales manager was very nice and responsive, even when I contacted them regarding my issues. The movers showed up on time and were nice. They brought all the materials they needed and the box truck was sufficient for the job. Now for the negative.. We were assuming the job would only take a couple hours, 3 max. They showed up at 8 and began to wrap the downstairs furniture. Our couch is a sectional so we previously disconnected all the sections prior to their arrival and also gathered everything they needed for the other furniture as to keep the process speedy. As they did that, I did some misc things around the townhouse to put in my truck to bring over. It got to a point where just about 2 hours hit and they weren't done downstairs wrapping and putting the items in the truck. I had to literally stand there and watch them so they would pick up the pace - which they did. They did a decent job wrapping, using a ton of tape and shrink wrap which unbenounced to me I had to pay for! The quote had padding included for materials..so one would think tape and shrink wrap is part of that..how can you cover something with padding and not secure it right? When I asked about this, I was told they normally charge $45 for this (again, this was in no way shape or form mentioned in the quote) but will only charge me $15...thanks I guess? They kept the pace upstairs pretty quick and got all my stuff loaded (some of my kitchen chairs were wrapped, some weren't, also frustrating). Before we left one of them asked me if he can use our microwave to heat up his pizza..I'm a nice guy so I said sure but that's just an odd thing to ask a client. We get to the house and they have me sign for the remainder of the charges ($200 was the deposit given initially). $515?!?! The fuel surcharge is based on the final bill?!?! I was livid but had no choice as they won't unload my belongings unless I sign. I can understand the fuel charge being based on the hour drive time (30 min each way) but on the whole bill? Complete BS. They unloaded my belongings fairly quickly, my kitchen table legs became loose somehow, they nicked our not even year old china cabinet (and it as wrapped), while bringing up our futon to the second story they knocked it into an overhead light breaking the enclosure of it and proceeded to want to stay and help us set up. I grabbed my knife and started to break down the plastic wrap and padding myself to move them along because at this point, I didn't want to pay anymore than I had to. They remarked that I was helping and I said well yea I have things to do and asked, is work slow or something? They replied yes, hours have been light so I now get why they were taking their time at our old place and trying to at our new place. In sum, I wouldn't use these guys again. Way too much money for what we wanted done.
