My Experience with One Source Van Lines - February 2025…read more Initial Quote and Booking: I received a quote of $1,800 for moving the following items: 20 boxes 2 mirrors 1 love seat couch 2 accent chairs 2 barstools 2 accent tables 1 bar table 75-inch TV 55-inch TV 1 mattress 1 bassboard 1 ottoman Service Issues: The pickup, scheduled for Thursday evening, occurred Friday morning. Despite reducing the load by removing the 55-inch TV, love seat, one mirror, and one box, the movers claimed the remaining items exceeded the cubic footage covered by my $800 deposit. The price increased from $1,800 to $4,000, including a charge for one flight of stairs. Customer Service Response: I contacted customer service immediately after pickup. The initial representative offered a $600 discount. However, on delivery day (Wednesday), the drivers requested the original amount. When I called customer service again, a different representative reduced the discount to $300. Paid the money and learned my lesson for this situation. Moving companies are scammers, the price they give to get a non refundable direct deposit is a scam! Showing up late and overcharging, Not good business! You never know what people can afford and to tell them one thing to raise it twice as much is inconsiderate. Imagine if someone wasn't able to afford the adjusted amount and now you have a moving company keeping your stuff from you until you can afford the increased amount all because "the people on the phone gives rough draft estimates but they don't know how much cubic feet it physically will be." Isn't it their job, isn't it y'all job?! I'm very disappointed with this company, definitely money hungry, and inconsiderate on how stressful moving can already be.

I contacted Ace Moving Company and dealt with Tony, who was extremely helpful and professional. The company not only moved all of my father's furniture into storage, but they also packed up and boxed all of his other belongings and moved them into storage as well. When I was able to access the storage unit in Palm Beach, I found that everything had been packed up perfectly and all furniture had been neatly stored, without and marks or damage. I can't say how thankful I am that I used this company and would recommend them to anyone. They are extremely trustworthy and take pride in their service. As mentioned before, Tony was especially helpful and I don't know how I would've moved all of my father's things as quickly as I had to without him and his team.
