Excellent coffee shop located in SW Ranches. Friendly staff who are quick with the orders and deliciously brewed coffee. The inside is small with 2 tables and a small counter area with a couple of bar stools. Nice modern coffee cantina style vibe inside. They have nice looking pastries, however I haven't tried them yet. Maybe next time.

Cubico is very serious about their coffee. It shows by the huge following of locals. I stopped in with family. They had coffee and breakfast croissants. I had the ham and egg croissant. I hear that they run out of croissants pretty early in the day. They make them fresh daily. Service is very good. The owner was attentive to make sure the order was done just right. It's a small cozy shop. We sat outside because we were in a rush. I hope to visit again soon.

I usually go the to Cubico Coffee at the Davie location on Griffin. I was in this area and saw this one. Never been to this location before. Stopped by on a weekday morning around 9:30am and it was fairly quiet. Only one other patron at a table. This location is quite small compared to the other one. There is very limited seating with 2 low top tables and chairs inside, 2 barstools at the coffee order counter and 2 barstools up against the wall next to the area where you get sugar, napkins, stirrers. There were also 2 hightop tables and chairs outside, but it was too hot to sit outside. I knew I wanted the Lavender Haze coffee, that's their lavender taro flavored latte that is usually my favorite. Service was just ok. Nothing to write home about. I also don't love that they hide out in the back and only come out when they see someone come in or need service at the register. It's crazy but the coffees here are so pricey at $8.05 + $2 tip + tax = $10.61 for a 16oz latte. I come here mainly for the Lavender Taro latte because it's a unique flavor. I noticed when the barista made my latte that there was wet powder residue on the side of my cup. Kind of disappointing to know my latte I just paid $11 for is a powdered flavor latte? Not what I expected.

Cute coffee shop in a shopping center with lots of parking. Was relatively empty for a Sunday, but we did go close to 12 so that might be why. The inside is decorated very nicely. Not a lot of seating inside as it's on the smaller side but the coffee was great! We tried the cubi blue latte and lavender haze latte. We liked the taste of cubi blue better. They only had two food items available for us to eat so that was disappointing, but the coffee made up for it. The staff was friendly and welcoming. This has been added to our list of favorite coffee shops! The coffee was that good!

Sticking with the strong five star rating at this Regency Square West Davie coffee shop with only a minor suggestion to add. Today I had an Americano with their propietary 4-blend roasted coffee grinds which complement each other and provide a well balanced taste. Each coffee served in-shop consists of this Cubico Coffee 4-blend, although they offer bags of fresh coffee beans providing an assortment of different blends, which can be purchased for home brewing. My suggestion is maybe change up the "4-blend" every few months to provide a new variation and coffee experience to excite my taste buds on future visits - again, just a java fanatic's opinion. In addition, it was a beautiful morning, so decided to change it up and sat on the sidewalk patio table. The almond croissant was sweet, light and flaky which provided the perfect morning treat.

Great coffee flavors in this little coffee shop at the Publix plaza on Volunteer Rd near Griffin rd. I just wanted a quick cup and was in and out with my life drink... Yumm!!

If you're looking for a cozy, inviting spot to sip on a delicious coffee and get some work done, look no further than Cubico Coffee. Tucked inside the Publix shopping plaza next to Goodwill and Pack and Ship, this hidden gem offers everything you want from a neighborhood coffee shop. I ordered an iced coffee latte, and it was absolutely made to perfection--smooth, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. The customer service here is just as great as the coffee. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming, making you feel like a regular from the moment you walk in. The vibe inside is modern and artsy, with cool industrial-style furniture, warm lighting, and creative wall art that really gives the place character. Whether you're meeting a friend, studying solo, or catching up on emails, the ambiance is quiet and relaxed--ideal for focusing or just unwinding. Plenty of parking, easy access for those with disabilities, and yes--it's pet-friendly too. Seriously, what more could you ask for?

This cute chain of a coffee shop is tucked away in a shopping plaza in the middle of nowhere (just kidding) - just conveniently right off the highway. It is near my orthodontist office and it was a nice treat after taking care of my teeth. It's a small, quaint, and cool shop. One of their best sellers is the Shaken Espresso so I got it iced - as a recommendation from the person who took my order. It was between that and the Lavendar Haze drink. I was really craving coffee and sure enough the espresso in the Shaken was strong and I really appreciated that. Some coffee drinks are more milk. But this the Shaken Espresso is a nice balance between a black-coffee drinker and a milky-coffee drinker. So it was perfect for me. They also had a glass casing for pastries. I saw nutella-flavored pastries but again, just left the ortho so felt kind of guilty already. Will def stop by more often!

The staff are so friendly and helpful! Inside is cozy and welcoming, making you feel like you're not in a rush was very relaxing. The croissants are so flakey and fresh you could eat 14 of them. It truly makes me excited to go back to visit again because everything is delightful. Recently had the matcha latte and a hot latte with caramel. The matcha has a strong, smooth, and delicious flavor. The hot latte was also smooth and creamy, honestly the best I've EVER had. They both come unsweetened which is a blessing so that way you can adjust it to your liking. As a local native, I'll be a loyal customer recommending this spot for sure!

I had high expectations for this cute lil place based on the reviews. We walked in on a Sunday around 11am, hoping for some breakfast croissants but they were already sold out. We had a ham and cheese croissant and a butter one. They were okay, soggy, a little cold and way too greasy. I ordered a dirty matcha ($9.70) that unfortunately couldn't drink, the flavor was not it. The cashier kindly made me a cappuccino instead which flavor wise was alright. The service is great, the cashiers are super nice, place is cute and clean but unfortunately not my cup of matcha, wouldn't return.

Have been studying here for a while and it's one of my favorite places in Davie. Coffee and croissants are always so yummy and it's quiet enough that you can get work done. Service is also always great!

Great quality coffee shop! The decor is simple and well thought out. I loved the giant coffee beans bags and specialty coffee machines and bottles. I ordered my coffees to go but the mugs they had were very cute have to try them next time. I ordered a black americano which was good, which I feel you can tell a lot about the coffee used bc it's not diluted with so maybe things like milks and syrups. Also ordered a vanilla latte with Cubico-clue cold form. I wanted to try the Cubico blue latte but wasn't sure and they wondered lady taking my order suggested trying the blue as a cold form instead. Loved it will return again and try the other one next time. I love going to different coffee shops for iced coffees instead of the usual fast food ones.

Before I ever tasted a single bean, the name stopped me cold. Calusa. A roaster bearing the name of…read morean Indigenous people -- the Calusa, the ancient shell-mound builders, the unconquered lords of South Florida's mangroves and waterways. People who never surrendered. People whose bones are folded into this very soil. As someone who walks through this world carrying Taíno blood and the memory of peoples whose names colonizers tried to erase, that word hit different. It wasn't a gimmick. It wasn't a logo. It was a declaration -- that this land has a story older than any espresso machine, and somebody here understood that. That understanding alone earned my curiosity and my respect before I'd even stepped through the door. "The name carried the weight of a people who never bent. That's the kind of legacy worth building a roastery around." Then I learned the story behind the man behind the roaster -- and it only deepened my respect. Luis Arteaga came home from serving in the United States Marine Corps and did what so many veterans do: he looked for work. No fanfare. No red carpet. Just a man with discipline in his bones and calluses on his hands, trying to find his next mission in a civilian world that doesn't always know what to do with people like that. He found his way to the original owners of Calusa Coffee Roasters. They saw in him what the Corps had always seen -- dependability, grit, and a willingness to learn. They gave him a job. A floor to stand on. And Luis did what Marines do -- he didn't just fill a position, he grew into something greater. Over time, through sweat and dedication and an unmistakable passion for the craft, he rose to become the owner of the very roastery that once took a chance on him. That's not a business story. That's an American story. A veteran's story. And it's exactly the kind of origin that makes a cup of coffee taste like something more than coffee. CALUSA COFFEE ROASTERS IS A SOUTH FLORIDA INSTITUTION Fast forward to today, and Calusa Coffee Roasters isn't just surviving -- it is a staple. Walk into the right cigar bar on a Friday evening and someone at the table will mention the name. Sit down at the right diner counter on a Tuesday morning and a regular will nod toward that familiar bag. In South Florida's rich, layered, cafecito-and-culture coffee landscape, that kind of word-of-mouth is earned over years of consistency, of showing up, of never letting the cup get small. Luis continues to build something that belongs to this community -- rooted in the terroir of a region as complex and layered as its people. The coffee is exceptional. Bold where it should be bold, nuanced where it earns it. The kind of roast that makes you sit down instead of rushing out. That's no accident. That's someone who respects the craft because he was forged in institutions that demand nothing less than your best. "When a Marine finds his mission in a roastery, every bag he puts his name on carries the same standard -- do it right or don't do it at all." Meeting Luis was one of those moments I didn't expect to move me the way it did. We are both moving through the coffee world trying to build something that means something -- something rooted in identity, in service, in the belief that what's in the cup should tell a story worth hearing. And here was a fellow Marine who had walked a road I recognize: uncertain ground, earned footing, and a refusal to quit. And finally, if you are in South Florida and you have not made the pilgrimage to Calusa Coffee Roasters on Commercial Blvd, you are overdue. Go for the coffee -- stay for the story. And if you're lucky enough to meet the man himself, shake his hand. He earned it in more ways than one. To Luis Arteaga and everyone at Calusa: thank you for carrying a name that honors this land. Thank you for honoring the service that shaped you. And thank you for a cup of coffee that carries the weight of all of it without spilling a drop. Semper Fi, brother. Keep roasting.
