It's been a while since I visited Bourbon & Branch, but I love what they've done with the place…read moresince my last visit. They've revamped some of the seating areas and expanded to add a pool room. Same great selection of Spirits and attentive service from the bartender. Their Halloween decor was great too; spooky place to chill out in October! My lemon drop martini was very tasty!

When we were checking out different suppliers for catering drinks at her wedding, we found out several things. Those included limited selection of companies in the area, prices ranging from low to exorbitant, and much difference in how those different companies interacted with us and our questions. Bourbon and Branch was the hands down winner. They were not the cheapest, but they were very willing to work with us. On the day of the wedding, they came early for set up. They interacted with all of the wedding party and gave everyone a "warm fuzzy feeling" which put the moms at ease. The actual bartender was a hit. She was funny, efficient, friendly, and kept the drinks flowing smoothly. Will I return? I don't have any more kids to marry off but based on my experience with them, I will definitely try their bar. If you have a wedding planned and are in need of bartender services, I recommend you give this business an opportunity for your most important date.

The entrance to the establishment is awkward, we open the door and just everyone starts staring, there's no host to greet us so we decided to sit ourselves. I think it's because it is such a small town. There is live music so that was nice. We finally get our burgers and I ordered the Classic burger and my husband ordered the Steakhouse burger. For some reason the meat tasted funky on my burger, but the fries were my favorite! After a few bites, I noticed a long hair on my burger. I didn't say anything because I had almost finished my burger. Needless to say, I don't think I'll be going again.

Listen up, folks! I just got back from Old 181 Bar and Grill, and let me tell you, it was an…read moreabsolute disaster. Paid $150 for what? A one-way ticket to the belly of regret, that's what! Then, the ambiance. They've got this "rustic" vibe that feels more like a run-down shed than a place to grab a bite. If I wanted to eat in a basement, I'd just hold dinner at my cousin's. I decided to treat myself with a stack of chicken wings because who doesn't love wings, right? Well, let me tell you, these wings were less "finger-lickin' good" and more "you'll be licking the bathroom floor after you eat these!" Seriously, they must've cooked them in a pot of bad decisions. The sauce? Tasted like they mixed ketchup with yesterday's mop water. I took one bite, and it felt like I was signing a contract with my stomach that said, "Welcome to Pain City, population: me." Fast forward a couple of hours, and I'm locked in a battle with my toilet and committing numerous Geneva Conventions violations --let's just say the wings had declared war, and I was losing! And for $150? I thought I was getting a royal feast, but I got a ticket to the most horrifying food experience of my life. The service? Absent. If you think Mezcal is a type of beer you probably shouldn't be taking drink orders. Our waitress was about as attentive as a sloth on a Sunday stroll. Good luck getting refills or even a basic apology for the culinary crimes they were committing! So, if you want to throw away your cash and dive into a night of food poisoning and misery, Old 181 Bar and Grill is the joint for you. For the rest of you? Just keep driving. Trust me, your stomach will thank you later!
