This store is well known in the Cape for its T-shirts and Sweatshirts...the Provincetown location is one of 4 on the Cape. We walked in around lunchtime and we noticed a lot of sales signs all over...but we definitely noticed the line of people waiting to pay...it was about 20 people deep ! The sales for off season are really good and you can get a great deal on clothing. My husband was looking for a Provincetown sweatshirt and all of the ones on sale were Cape Cod ones...lots of colors, lots of styles.... The story of these stores started in 1980. Cuffy purchased 300 misprint t-shirts for $1.00 and sold them for $2.00 right after college. That was the start of a successful casual clothing line of stores. read more

This is a great clothing store to get Cape Cod clothing. Their t-shirts, sweatpants, hoodies are much higher quality than most other places and their prices are very good! They are 100% cotton and very soft. They have a huge variety of colors/patterns/styles and the store is very clean and organized. I have been in this store two times already, but the most recent one (oct 15 2022) was very uncomfortable for me . Since I entered the store I was looking with my grandmother at some hats, immediately two sellers started following me , it was INCREDIBLY blatant, they were not following anyone else but me. I really couldn't move an inch without the two being behind me. I don't know if it is because I was speaking Spanish or I don't know what, horrible experience. As a New England native who goes to the Cape every few years it's in my fiber to have a couple of "Cape Cod" Tees in my dresser. Cuffy's always fits the bill when I need to replenish my stash. I've only ever bought T's there but they have pretty much everything you could want that says Cape Cod on it from baby clothes to mugs to taffy to hoodies. It's delightfully inexpensive to boot. I bought a t shirt down the street from a fantastic place with unique artwork on it for twice the price (worth it) but that's not why you go to Cuffy's. You go to replenish your stash, you go to peruse large displays of everything and you'll definitely find something you'll like. Check it out. read more

Seems like everything was on sale... caps, t-shirts, sweatshirts with and without zippers (although mainly without), mugs... I bought myself a "C" fitted twill cap for $5.99 (original price $22.99) and a full zip hoodie sweatshirt for $12.99 (original price $59.99?). Pretty standard Cuffy's shop, you will find a lot of the merchandise sold here at other shops on the Cape too. It's still peak tourist season so prices were not reduced yet. I scoured the shop and picked up a mug for $6.99. A little pricey, but not bad considering I saw mugs in Chatham selling for $13. Cuffy's mainly sells a lot of t-shirts and sweatshirts. Not a bad place to pick up a generic Cape Cod souvenir. Unfortunately, the registers were down when we visited, so you could only pay cash. read more

July 2016 - How could a Store in the middle of Provincetown NOT SELL Tee Shirts, Hats Etc; promoting Provincetown? I looked through the whole store with my friend and we could not find a thing - we only saw Tees, Hats Etc; with the words "Cape Cod" what happened to P-Town? Why was this majestic town left out of the store? We were so disappointed that we could not find a thing because in 2014 we purchased a great Tee Shirt from them with the word Provincetown printed on the front, and they brilliantly replaced the letter "I" with the Town Monument and what a great idea that was. I know when I am on vacation I want to purchase merchandise promoting the place that I am visiting, not some other place. So, I for now Refuse to spend my money $$ in this establishment no matter how cheap their prices are, and not until they start reselling Merchandise with Provincetown will I purchase a single item there. How can any trip to the Cape be complete without a trip to a Cuffy's?!! Ok, well in the summer it is usually because I want to snag an extra t shirt or two for lounging during my trip...but this winter, I hoped they were open for a very different reason - I think I must have packed blind and did not have one sweatshirt with me!!! So, Cuffy's saved the day! This is one of the only places on the strip that sold sweatshirts that was 1.) open and 2.) open.....so yeah....I needed a Cape Cod sweatshirt and found it! The ladies at the register were super nice and even let me bring my dogs in while I shopped! I ended up walking out with a hoodie, a 1/3 zip hoodie and a t shirt for under $60 bucks....thank you Cuffy's for saving my trip and making sure I looked like a complete tourist doing so!!! Nice cheap clothing that makes you wonder if the quality is as good as they say it is... however, as it got quite cold at night and I left all my jackets at home, I went there to get a couple of sweaters and jackets for the nice chilly nights. So far, my jackets are holding up and do a good job at keeping me warm. The only problem, the size selection is quite limited. I am a small size and most of the shirts and sweaters I liked were only available in large, XL or XXL. Bad luck for the skinny ones... But the cheap prices (sweaters from $50 down to $9.99 and shirts down to $3.99) makes it easy for mass shopping for your colleagues at work! read more

So you get to Provincetown with no jackets, thinking, "It's summer! It'll be warm!" Then the sun sets and wind picks up, and you realize it's actually a little chilly? Here is the place to get a sweater, or hoodie, or jacket...other items of that nature. Also, if you want to buy tee shirts that read "Cape Cod" or "Provincetown" for every single person that you know, it's a good place to stop. It's super cheap (there seems to be a perpetual sale going on), very tourist-y, but the clothes are durable. This is the place I come to buy the kiddies nice sweatshirts. They are cheap and colorful and have Cape Cod written on the front, I think that is cool! It's a happy place when you walk in, all bright colored cotton clothing, all laid out neatly in tidy little rows for you to see and feel. I came during off-season, which has its perks (e.g. fewer crowds, free parking, no traffic) but fewer shops/restaurants are open during this time. Cuffy's was one of the stores that was open where you could find a TON of Cape Cod memorabilia - lots of clothing options (of average to good quality), Cape Cod branded mugs, bags, beach towels, etc. I don't know if they're usually this well priced or if it's because it's off-season, but the prices were pretty great for being in the center of Provincetown and having some good selection! The sweatshirt I purchased had a small Cape Cod bicep logo on it, beautiful gray color (comes in different colors) for $20. I also purchased a couple Cape Cod branded matte mugs that felt sturdy, dishwasher safe, very chic for $4 per cup. A great place to buy things for friends if you're going to bring gifts home and if you miss it in Provincetown, you can find more along the Cape Cod trail back to Boston too. read more

Cuffy's seems to always have a big sale on-- and when you walk in you can tell why. Islands of snooze-worthy shirts that proclaim "cape cod" or (less frequently) "provincetown" in athletic letters on the front. I will admit that 70% off almost lured me into an aqua provincetown sweatshirt-- but they were all pullover hoodies, and I'd rather a zipper. Blah. If you're looking for a souvenier for your parents, especially if they think you were somewhere else (not gay) on the cape-- go pick them up an innocuous cape cod hoodie, and go back to walking around in the sunshine with your freak flag flying. read more

I will speak to the purchase I made in Summer 2007. I purchased high quality cargo shorts (3 pair) for $60 and got three pairs FREE. Good quality, heavy material, excellent construction. What else do you need to know. Friends bought average quality teeshirts that were Buy 15, get 15 FREE and were fairly happy with them. Recommended as they keep coming back every year; that is a sign in PTown as commercial real estate to lease in PTown is through the roof... Hands down the best shop to go for souvenirs clothes-wise. Shirts and sweatshirts are of quality, the prints are appealing and not tacky. I bought two tees from here, an awesome Nantucket red hoodie and a couple magnets! My brother also bought a few shirts, including the plain ones without print just to add to his wardrobe. The manager, Jean, is one of the friendliest people in Provincetown. So if you go here, ask for her. We buy all our sweatshirts and T's at Cuffy's. They have great quality clothing at discounted prices. Every season there are beautiful new designer colors to choose from. The store itself is a bright and well designed. It is also probably one of the busiest in town, so if you see something you like, buy it, because they sell out their different lines quickly to make way for new arrivals. read more

After walking the entire length of Commercial Street, I finally settled on Cuffy's to buy a sweatshirt from, and I'm glad I did. The fit was just right, the material seems to be good quality, and the price was reasonable ($50 initially but everything was 30% off at the time). Best place to land if you need to buy a number of shirts. They're pricey if you only need one, but buy two get three free is great deal. All the posted reviews regarding in store shopping experiences may well be true, but don't expect the same if you need to return or exchange an item by mail. POSTAL RETURN CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT!!! I received a Cuffy's long sleeve T shirt as a birthday gift in early June 2016 and returned it by registered mail on June 17th for a size exchange. As of today 7/23/2016, I still have not received the T and I have not been able to get in touch with their exchange location in South Yarmouth, MA despite several calls and emails. They don't ever answer the phone nor return Voice or E -Mails. I have been staying on the Cape for over 30 years and buying sweatshirts, jackets and T-shirts for all members of my family and friends at Cuffy's. Clothes are all reasonably priced and the sweatshirts last FOREVER. They are thick and snugly. I buy my grandkids sweatshirts there and they pass them down to their three and then to friends. Horrible customer service! There was an abundance of employees and none of them seemed very interested in helping customers. There were two employees as you walked into the store, and they were too busy talking to one another to greet customers. I walked by them again as I was leaving and one was drinking an iced coffee and the other was on her phone....while still on the sales floor. The employees behind the register were rude and aloof.
