I have two view points on this store. I walked in and I loved the selection of sweatshirts, t-shirts, and fashion wear...the colors and patterns are really fun and happy and the quality of the fabric was good. The other viewpoint was the guy behind the counter, he had the longest face and he did not look welcoming nor friendly at all. That put me off with his attitude and demeanor. BEWARE!!!!! Worst experience ever. My daughters went in to shop and came out with two rings and two necklaces. The price on the items are almost half of what they were charged. A $5.99 necklace was sold to them for $9.99. And the rings were priced at $5.99 and were sold to them for $8.00. We brought up the errors to the register attendant who got another employee and it seemed like they would refund the difference. But they told us after a little they needed the manager who said she would refund it all and not sell them for the price marked on the item!!! We left with nothing in hand and will never shop here again. This store is trying to scam those patrons that don't pay attention!!! BEWARE!!! read more

I just visited here for the first time this year. I was primarily interested in the hats. I had a lovely sales girl whose name I did not get (wish I had). I wound up getting a beautiful hat as a gift for my dad. He loved it. When I first got it, it turned out I had bought the wrong size so I ran back and swapped it. I wish I'd been on Yelp then because the Sales Person was the absolute best. I did not buy much in Province Town this trip but this place had great stuff. Highly recommended. read more

Some of my most treasured hoodies and shirts come from this store. They are high quality and aesthetically enduring. D Flax is a mark above your typical Cape Cod/Provincetown souvenir shirt shop. They produce really cute, non-boring prints on premium cotton fabric that can easily blend in with the rest of your wardrobe. It's all made in Ptown, don't come here for cheap stuff to just wear once or twice and throw away. These clothes feel great and actually last a while, you can wear them to death and they still look good. I always check in this store to see if there's anything that fits my style. Never disappointed, always leave with a new hoodie or shirt. Most memorable find was from the sale bin after Bear Week. Love. Beautiful clothes and accessories sold by beautiful people. I am seriously questioning the practices of this store. I purchased 2 items on my credit card, and came back the same day to return one item because there was something wrong with it (to be refunded $80+). I was told to reinsert my credit card to be refunded by original payment, and received a receipt. It was only days later when I checked my CC transactions that my refund did not show up. Looking more closely at my refund receipt, it says I was given exact amount in cash, which I was NOT. I have been trying to call this store to correct their error, they NEVER pick up. I contacted the store by their website. NO response. I am beyond frustrated and currently short $80+ dollars which I am owed by this place. Not only did I not receive the money which I am owed, but it's impossible to even get a hold of them. I live in MA but am not a local P-town resident so I can't even go to the physical location. I ask that if any management sees this they do the right thing and contact me to correct this issue. Buyers, beware. read more

I recently spent 4 days in Provincetown exploring Commercial St and all the area has to offer. I wanted a hooded sweatshirt as a souvenir. I walked up and down the street in hopes of finding the perfect choice. I thought I found it a D.Flax, an enticing and organized little shop with a lot of fun designs. Their shirts are very soft and seem like decent quality, a bit overpriced, but this is a tourist area and that is to be expected. I decided on a anchor design sweatshirt, picked it up and the sales girl looked at me as if to say "What?" with her facial expression. I said "I would like to buy this sweatshirt". She replied in the most bored and unfriendly monotone voice "so buy it". I said "I am not sure of the size". She replied "you are a small". Okayyyyy...so I asked "do you have it in a medium?" She lumbered over, looking miserable and dragged one out from underneath the table and held it up. No smile, no eye contact, cold as ice. I said "I would like it to be a little big on me" as I looked it over with my eyes. She was clearly annoyed and stated "so buy the medium." as if she was a teenager being dragged around shopping all day against her will and I was her despised stepmother. This whole exchange took maybe 2 minutes of her precious time, but she apparently hates her job or hates soccer moms on vacation, who knows. I decided I would rather shop anywhere else. Cute stuff, too bad their customer service feels so unwelcoming. read more
