Lovely atmosphere! We really enjoyed the full 360 of this building from the decades old diner, into a nice, modern updated space. The bar was large and spacious. The dining room is tastefully decorated with clean and modern touches. Menu was expansive, and ranged from average priced to higher end. It was easy to find something for everyone's taste on it. We had a party of four, and our salad courses were fresh and ample. Our entrees were large portions, fresh and well presented. Wine/beer menu was large and varied. Overall, we throughly enjoyed our experience, the owner even came over to check on us and ask us about our evening. We will definitely return,

Family- friendly Italian (Sicilian) cuisine. Great wine list too. Pizzas, sandwiches and elevated Italian foods. Nice dessert list too. A separate door for Take-Out. Large bar for drinking and dining. Plenty of free onsite parking too.

We finally got here! We shared the clam appetizer which was really good. I had the veal chop parmigiana which was butterflied and huge! I was glad that the sauce was really good and the homemade pasta was equally good. The veal was cooked just right and was tender. Cindy had the cheese ravioli and she said it was simply excellent! It did take a while to get our dinner, but it was hot. It is pricey, but worth it. Our server Heather, was very nice and helpful.

A Hidden Gem in Lambertville - Cocktails, Cuisine & Character All in One Spot! We came to…read moreLambertville, PA on a whim during a trip from Miami, looking to explore a charming small town with history, heart, and hopefully some hidden treasures. With zero expectations and a love for antiquing and supporting small businesses, we were immediately smitten by the cobblestone beauty and old-town charm. But the real gem of this visit? T 54 - a restaurant that completely stole our hearts (and taste buds). From the moment we walked into this quaint little spot that seats no more than 68 people, we knew we were somewhere special. The greeting was warm, welcoming, and relaxed - a "sit wherever you'd like" vibe that instantly made us feel like locals. But then came the moment that made the entire trip: David, the bartender. Let me just say this - if Lambertville has a mayor of cocktails, it's him. I asked David to surprise us with something extraordinary, and WOW did he deliver. First up, the espresso martini - a drink I've had hundreds of times, yet never like this. Smooth, bold, balanced - truly remarkable. I asked him what his next best was and he handed me the Green Hope - a gin-based masterpiece that was bright, herbaceous, and perfectly crafted. Drink three? The showstopper: The Lambertville David-Aayyyy - his own off-menu spin on their Lambertville Rose cocktail, and an absolute knockout. The man is a cocktail magician. Now let's talk about the food. I ordered the burger and fries and let me be real with you - this wasn't just a burger. This was a BURGERRRRR. Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and topped with a torched cheese interior (yes, torched... and yes, it matters), fresh toppings, and a house-made aioli that I wanted to bottle and take home. The fries? Imagine a single potato sliced into thick, golden quarters, crisped and seasoned to perfection. They're rustic, hearty, and addictive. My man had the eggs benedict with prosciutto, and I kid you not - I've never seen a plate licked so clean. It was that good. Like, "don't even need to run this plate through the dishwasher" level good. From the intimate atmosphere to the elevated drinks, and seriously impressive food, T 54 is a place that blends soul, flavor, and genuine hospitality in a way that's rare to find. Whether you're a local or just passing through like us, make the time to visit this place. Ask for David. Trust him. And bring your appetite. This is the kind of place that makes you fall in love with small towns all over again.

We finally got around to trying Taverna 54. We called ahead to check on seating, and Maximo told us…read moreto come in. When we arrived, though, we were told there weren't any seats. After a few minutes, they said they could squeeze us in. It felt a bit odd -- the space isn't very large, so you'd expect the dining room to be easier to manage. We shared the burger and the carbonara. Both dishes were underwhelming, especially given the expectations we had for this spot. The burger was on the bland side, and the carbonara was made with store‑bought noodles, which took away from the dish. While the food missed the mark, the dining area itself is very nice and the service was great.

When you walk in there is sort of a vestibule before the dining room, but it felt as if we had actually come in by the wrong door -- I'm still not sure. Either the front door is well hidden or the entrance is not very welcoming, and there was no one there to greet us. Once seated, however, the atmosphere was charming. We had some light trouble communicating with the staff. It wasn't at all clear who the three different people who visited our table were. The youngest one, in particular, spoke so fast and low that it was difficult to follow him, and even though the room was relatively quiet. The food made up for some of our difficulties. The cioppino, in particular, was excellent, even if it didn't contain exactly the items listed in the menu; it's the nature of the dish. Once we had our meals, everything was quite agreeable. The food was great; the rest of the experience kind of 'mid.' It seemed that if we were regulars, already acquainted with the idiosyncrasies of the place, we would have been more comfortable, but as first-timers it was all a bit discomfiting. I suppose would go back again, but it hasn't won it's way into a spot among my favorites.

Really extensive menu with very reasonable prices for the quality and quantity of food. The spicy calamari is a must try and every entree and pasta are worth trying, too. Met one of the owners (two brothers) and this is a family run business with a benefit to the community. For appetizers, we got zucchini chips, fried calamari and mussels. The calamari was fried too hard and it had a very salty, spicy Chilean type sauce over it. The zucchini chips were thinly sliced, lightly battered with Parmesan cheese sprinkled over them. They were decent but nothing to write home about. In fact, after having about six or seven of the zucchini chips I began to experience heartburn from the grease. For entrees, my husband had the chicken parm. He said it was too thick and should have been flattened more before frying. It was also very breaded. My brother-in-law ordered the chicken and waffles and he said the chicken tasted day old so after having a bite of one piece of the chicken he pushed the chicken aside and called it a day. I called the waiter over and informed him about the chicken tasting day old. He didn't try to change it out or take it off the bill or get a manager. He just apologized by saying I'm sorry. My crab Mac and Cheese was decent. It wasn't seasoned the way I would have liked but the huge, plentiful chunks of crab made up for that. I ate a third of my dish and packed the rest for home where I will doctor it up to my taste. I've never been to this particular restaurant before. The only reason we came today is because my brother-in-law was here on business and staying at a hotel in the area.
